20 Bishops Way

The house was nice and location was good.

But the cleanliness of the house was the worse I have come across in all the time we have been using sykes, when I contact the own they didnt seam to be to bothered and blamed the busy time they was having and the last holiday makers. As soon as we walked in we felt uncomfortable with how dusty the place was. When my son went to his room the bedding has stains on it and the bed was full of dog hairs. Dirty tissues under the bed. They spent house cleaning there room with limited stuff we had to do it with. I asked the owner to send someone the following to come and do a full clean as the kitchen was dirty too. I add to wash all the pots again including. The microwave also needed to been clean but because we didnt plan on using it I didn't want to waste more of my holiday cleaning it the fridge had stange smell. There was food left in the cuboards and frezzer. Tge own wanted me to but everything in the garage pace. Why should I spend my time doing this. Though out the week we came across the odd dog biscuits. The T.V had lines down it. Model/haverly stained ceiling in the bathroom. All this because they didnt send any one to clean, just some clean bedding againwe had to spend our holiday changing. There was no scissors, no chesse grater, no pizza cutter. Only 2 pint glasses for 6 people. The house had lots of ornaments which is not needed. Cleaner needs to spend there time getting the skirting boards wiped down instead of dusting fake plants.

The house was well situated, well equipped and furnished.

The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of wardrobe space. The standard of furniture and fittings was very good. Parking was not a problem. However, we found the house to be only partly cleaned in that there was evidence of poor hoovering/ floor mopping. Previous occupant's clothing left in wardrobe. Dog hairs on cushions and kitchen floor.Dusty skirting boards.Plastic bottle left behind bedside table. Some scratch damage to furniture. We have been holidaying in UK holiday rentals for years and have not encountered this problem before.

What a fantastic week we had in Falmouth and stopping at bishops way.

There was everything we needed and created a wonderful base to explore Cornwall. Would definitely stop again. Thanks

We liked this house - clean & tidy and comfortable beds provided a restful stay for our family but….

the bathroom sink on the top floor was cracked, shower tray is functional but squashy underfoot and mould is beginning to form on the ceiling above the shower. In the bathroom on the middle floor the top towel rail was loose. The TV screen in the living room has some pixilation / lines on the left hand side. Disappointed there was no welcome pack as we have not encountered this before.

The location was excellent, and the accommodation was ideal.

The property offered three generously sized bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished to meet the needs of guests. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We especially enjoyed the lovely walk down to Falmouth and the nearby beaches—no car is needed if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. For those who value space while away and want easy access to local amenities, this property makes an ideal base for exploring the area.

Extremely comfortable property.

Decent sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Although near a busy road, it's really quiet once inside. Absolute bliss. Only downside, which is nothing to do with the owner, is the house is at the top of a hill. We like to park the car up & walk or bus. It's a really nice downhill stroll into Falmouth of around 30mins. But a 'slog' going back up (I'm 69 & husband 71) & the local bus is every 2 hours. Nearby & well worth a visit - a beautiful parish church & Tregonnie Woods nature trail.

! The property was spotless, great location, everything exactly as described. One of the best accommodations we have stayed in. Would definitely use again

Property was spacious and layout perfect for our family.

However it was not clean. Hard floors dirty and carpets not vacuumed. Crumbs on worktop and in fridge. Toilets not properly cleaned and toothpaste smear on bathroom mirror. Thick dust on skirting boards and picture frames. Shower tray trap had thick black gunge underneath. On raising these issues I was told the previous occupants had not left it well but many of the issues were long standing problems. Sorry to have to write this but it did spoil my stay.

Had a wonderful stay here.

Everything was just as we had hoped. Comfortable, clean and near to beaches. Would definitely stay here again

Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

A fabulous, comfortable and very nicely decorated home, we didn’t want for anything. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking our Christmas dinner. Super comfortable beds with very cosy bedding. Only 5 minute drive to town and beach or a 25min walk into Falmouth. Would highly recommend.

Myself and my adult children recently stayed at Bishops Way.

The property was a fantastic find. Well located, just on the outskirts of the town & easy access to other routes. The house was very comfortable, very clean & well supplied with the basics that’s needed for a comfy stay.
