Great property in an excellent location, super comfy beds, all areas are easy to clean.

Crockery and white goods really good quality… would definitely book again

Absolutely beautiful location and property.

Literally 60 meters from the beach, cafes and public house. Local shops just along the road for daily essentials. Property is amazing with patio and outdoor shower for those into surfing etc. Great base location to explore St Ives, Penzance, Newlyn etc. Part and ride from st erth Station into St Ives.would definitely recommend this location and property , we will return

Beach cottage is lovely, everything you could need.

Beach is great along with pubs and cafes all a very short walk away. Easy drive to other beaches and towns, perfect to go exploring. Can take your dog everywhere too. Excellent.

Absolutely fantastic cottage had everything we needed and as we did a lot of cooking there was even a hand mixer.

The beds were super comfortable. The whole cottage was spotless. It was so close to the beach we were on the beach with our dog several times a day Bailey loved it. We have already booked for next year.

This was the 3rd time we’ve stayed in Beach Cottage.

The location is superb and the facilities/decor of the property is top notch. The new fencing in the back garden looks really good. If they could change the mattresses to hybrid memory foam then it would be 6 stars for me

This is a great property with everything you need to have a nice stay.

Fully equipped and less than 2 minutes to the beach and not much further to the local pub, bakery and shop. If you want to be more active there are numerous walks along the cliffs and at the top of the hill is Tehidy Woods where you can walk for miles. My only gripe would be this is advertised as a pet friendly property but on your arrival you are requested not to let your dog upstairs. This was an issue for us as our dog has always slept upstairs on an evening and has terrible separation anxiety and caused problems for the first few days. Overall though it’s a great place to stay.

Beautiful home, had everything you needed.

It was in the best location, we spent most of our time enjoying Portreath. The house was in perfect condition, every detail well thought of and immaculate. Beds very comfortable, the only feedback was the single bed in the small bedroom, he said the mattress was really springy, but he slept ok. The garden was great and again everything you needed, the use of the outdoor shower was a real bonus! We will be booking again. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to share this amazing holiday home!

Excellent location near to beach.

Accommodation very clean and beds were so comfortable. All facilities were up to date as described and the owners are very friendly . Welcome pack was a lovely touch after a long journey will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage tastefully furnished.

Ideally situated for exploring Cornwall. Loved it and will be back. My only niggle is the lateness of access to the property. .

It truly is a lovely property but I'm sorry it is not worth £1600 for a week.

You don't provide even a luxurious bed , it is two beds pushed together. I am well aware of the location and access to amenities but I have stayed in many cottages, lodges etc and would not pay your price again unfortunately..

Absolutely stunning property - everything you can think / want for your stay.

Ideal location for beach and for travelling afar (bus stop just by the house if you don't want to venture in the car) We had booked our dog in to stay with us but circumstances changed and we didn't bring her, which we are pleased with as when we got to the house were surprised by a sign saying no dogs upstairs. Booked the property being dog friendly and that to us means access all areas (she sleeps with me at night so that would have caused an issue) - although great they leave blankets for the sofa for the dogs to go on. Overall amazing property and if back in the area would stay again

Hi we recently stayed at the Beach Cottage, it was the best stay of all the cottages we have used through Sykes the cottage was excellent extremly welcoming clean and everthing you would need was on tap 10/10 we will be back.

This is a very well stocked cottage with some lovely features.

It's really clean and comfortable and close to the beach. The only slight issue was the mattress of the single bed. The mattress is not very comfortable compared to the others - it had springs very close to the surface.

We had a wonderful week with glorious weather and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities that Beach cottage had to offer on our return from a day walking.

The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the outdoor shower especially useful after multiple swims a day. It truly is an incredible location!

We couldn’t believe that we had everything we could have wanted.

The parking was great after we realised there was parking out the back. The washing machine and dishwasher made life so much easier with 2 children. The outside shower was great after the beach. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks mainly to the excellent accommodation which more than met our best expectations.

The house provides in detail everything both for comfort and kitchen utensils, even tea towels, kitchen roll etc. Upstairs the bedrooms were bright and prettily decorated, furnished with comfortable beds making for a sound night's sleep.To sum up we enjoyed our stay both indoors and outdoors (a lovely sheltered patio with tables and chairs) and would recommend this accommodation to others.

The cottage we stayed in was nothing short of perfect.

I am only sorry that we forgot to write in the guestbook to pass on our appreciation. The cottage was spotless, had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and was the most perfect location. Nothing was overlooked and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. I do hope all future guests continue to look after the cottage as it is a real gem. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Location is excellant, as is decoration and all equipment, kitchen utensils, white goods, tvs etc.

The house was perfect for location, not just with in village but for other beautiful towns and cities with in half an hour away.

Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. We had a fantastic stay.

Wow what can I say!

What an amazing house, 100 metres away from the beach, everything you would need as well for a family of 5 the youngest being 20 months old, he especially loved the outdoor shower. We visited Padstow, Falmouth and took a trip to St Mawes on one of the many ferries there, St Ives and Perranporth. I would definitely recommend this house (5 stars).
