Marvellous situation.

What a spot to sit out and see the sea.. little harbour and cliffs. Wonderful quality of accomodation.

Fantastic place but very steep, everything that could be done for you was thought out little things like binoculars playing cards .

What a superb cottage.

Wonderfully appointed decor and very cosy and comfortable. So many extra things in the cottage for guests eg. binoculars, maps, guide books, reading books the list goes on. The sea view was second to none and with two lovely terraces to sit and enjoy it made it perfect. A lovely carrot cake on the table on arrival was a welcome treat. We had a wonderful week and didn't want to leave.

Sunning, breathtaking views from the terrace, kitchen and lounge of this perfectly located property.

Perfect for a couple or an individual plus a dog. Tasteful decor, very clean, well maintained and absolutely everything you need is provided. Due to the location, there is nowhere to park safely to unload a car so need to be prepared for a bit of a walk with your luggage. But it’s well worth it. Sunshine leaves the terrace mid afternoon and then it’s a bit of a hike to the upper terrace, but well worth it to enjoy sunshine into the evening (A storage unit for seat pads and cushions on the upper terrace would be helpful to save having to carry them back and forth up the steps). We loved our week and hope to return.

A fabulous property in a great location, everything is top quality.

The bed is very comfortable and the outside spaces are great for relaxation and taking in the beautiful view. The village now has a community pub, The Ship, which offers excellent food, booking is recommended. We would highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trap House.

There is nowhere else you would get views such stunning views out to sea - out of windows and directly from two terraces. The owners went the extra mile with greeting us with delicious lemon cake and flowers. The house was beautifully clean and the garden well cared for. An absolute gem of a place to stay with wonderful cliff walks too straight from the house. Highly recommend for peaceful, quiet picturesque heaven!!

This property is absolutely amazing!

Everything about our stay at this wonderful property truly made our time in Cornwall perfect. Everything you need, very clean, beautiful cake on arrival. The views, the village, the people the atmosphere. It has been beautifully equipped - all the little things like JOHN Lewis towels and Denby Crockery. Literally my perfect space. The views from the living room windows are exceptional and sitting outside is simply the best! This will be a tough one to beat!

Suntrap House was very well-maintained, clean and well-equipped.

Great views of the sea through the lounge windows. The property certainly lived up to the description given on the Sykes website and is one of the best properties we have stayed in. Highly recommended, particularly if you want to use it as a base for walking this Cornish part of South West coast path. Lovely community pub, 'The Ship Inn' just down the road, which we also recommended for good food.

Stunning views and comfortable property!

Suntrap House was even better in the flesh.

We sat and watched the sea crashing on the rocks from the warmth and safety of the living room. Scrupulously clean throughout. The bed was very comfortable as were the sofa and armchairs. There is nothing unpleasantly holiday home about it - all the curtains are made from beautiful thick material and there are lovely pictures and pieces of pottery throughout the cottage. I had a bit of difficulty with the internal steps as there is nothing to hold on to but it just meant my husband had to do all the fetching and carrying. It was my husband's first time in Cornwall and he loved it; being able to constantly hear the sea from inside the cottage was thrilling for him. We would love to stay again.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you might need, including a torch or 3! Whilst it is tricky unloading, and parking your car in the car park down the road- £18 for the week- any inconvenience is well worth it. Villagers were friendly and welcoming- loved it!

Immaculate!

The owners had thought of everything you could need. The cottage was beautifully clean and very well decorated. It was a joy to sit outside on the terrace and look down on the sea.

This property was immaculately turned out, spotlessly clean, even the patio table top was literally spotless, and it is the first thing you see.

Comfortable accommodation. We were so impressed, we have already booked a repeat visit for next year, and we have never done this before.

The property is beautiful, incredibly clean and well maintained.

Beautiful cottage, my only problem was I think there should be a blind in the kitchen that looks into the bedroom or a privacy curtain just as you come out the bathroom towards the kitchen mainly for going to and from bedroom to bathroom especially during the night

The cozy house with its stunning view were what we imagined when we dreamed of visiting Cornwall.

We had a lovely stay in a very beautiful location with fabulous views and everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

The lady who looks after the property is so helpful too. The steps up to the higher terrace were difficult for my husband but I managed them ok. The nearby farm shop is good and the lobster was incredible. Lots to do nearby but the village should put a one way system in as we had issues on a number of occasions where we encountered a stream of vehicles going in the opposite direction and the passing places were limited.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Suntrap House - such a beautiful and peaceful place / location.

You certainly won’t find a better view when you’re washing the dishes, to the point that we even had the joy of seeing dolphins swimming across the bay one morning!!

The cottage was very clean and comfy and they had thought of everything. The views are stunning and if you want peace and tranquillity, this is the place to be. We will be back

A fantastic property, we throughly enjoyed everything about our stay.

The view is to die for, the cottage is beautifully decorated with everything you could want for the perfect stay. The car park is a short stroll up a steady incline and costs £17 for the week payable via an app. The roads are very narrow and a bit hairy when you meet the bus coming in the other direction. We would love to stay again.

Great little cottage.

Really cozy but with some space. Really enjoyed weekend there. Possibly needs bbq on terrace. Hotel great for food but not cheap. Pub friendly but not sure quality of food. Hidden Hut well worth a visit….
