    “Overall, this property is great and we would definitely stay again.”

    The location, quality and size of the property are all great. It has a lovely peaceful feel about it. The shower is good and the kitchen is well equipped. We also went to the Arborist Café which was fantastic, the food was very high quality and the views were stunning. The property maintenance lady was great and very responsive. The only major negative to the property is the creaking floor. I appreciate nothing can be done without taking up the entire floor and relaying it, but at night it ...

The only major negative to the property is the creaking floor. I appreciate nothing can be done without taking up the entire floor and relaying it, but at night it made it hard to not wake people up. The beds were a bit hard for us and the bowls in the kitchen could do with being less flat, there were only 2 deep ones, the rest were soup bowls. All that being said we would stay again as it was such a beautiful peaceful spot and lovely accommodation.

Killiow Estate Lodges

Truro is the retail centre of Cornwall with a good range of independent shops as well as national stores all within a compact city centre. With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
