Ash

Overall, this property is great and we would definitely stay again.

The location, quality and size of the property are all great. It has a lovely peaceful feel about it. The shower is good and the kitchen is well equipped. We also went to the Arborist Café which was fantastic, the food was very high quality and the views were stunning. The property maintenance lady was great and very responsive. The only major negative to the property is the creaking floor. I appreciate nothing can be done without taking up the entire floor and relaying it, but at night it made it hard to not wake people up. The beds were a bit hard for us and the bowls in the kitchen could do with being less flat, there were only 2 deep ones, the rest were soup bowls. All that being said we would stay again as it was such a beautiful peaceful spot and lovely accommodation.

Our party of six included a wheelchair user and two others with walking difficulties.

The Lodge was ideal offering a wet room and two other ensuite bathrooms which was perfect. The accommodation was high spec and very clean. We ate in quite a bit and found the kitchen facilities excellent with lots of cooking utensils. A great short break!

Wonderful restful stay, very comfortable and all home comforts required.

Peacefull setting that we will definitely be visiting again. Recommend the Arborist Cafe on site for lunch.

We absolutely loved our stay, the lodges were so peaceful, well equipped, clean and had excellent facilities.

The only improvements we can suggest would be to spend some money on the decking area as it was a bit tired and to try and improve the squeaky floorboards. The children were woken up in the morning by us walking from our bedroom to the main living area.

We had a vote on the way home whether we would stay again & it was a unanimous yes.

It was ideal for us all with ages ranging from 13 - 77 but especially for my husband with no stairs. My grandson loved the space to play cricket & also to practice golf shots. We loved the accomodation & that there was plenty of space between everyone & that we weren't overlooked & it was so tranquil. Forgot it was good that it was close to Truro for the shops & near my granddaughter & her husband who live in Redruth.

Lovely location, lovely host and lovely new cafe next door - The Arborist.

We were a family of 5 (3 kids) and used it as a base to explore lots of places in Cornwall. Would go again!

Had a great stay would book again very helpful provided equipment to help with my disability only two things which were faulty loo seat in en-suite loose just needed Phillips screw drivers to put right did look but couldn’t find one and the sink in the wet room was extremely hard to pop up even my husband tried and found it difficult apart from this it was very good

The property was amazing, just a couple of things to mention, 1.

The beds are too hard but beautifully large 2. Air conditioner is a must as Ash Lodge got far too hot epically in the Livingroom. 3. The glass base around the fire place is a bad trip hazard and one tenant did actually trip on it. 4. Toilet seat in wet room very flimsy Over all we had a fantastic time and the owner was a star and couldn't have been more helpful with any questions and also making sure we had everything we needed for our tenants.

‘Ash’ was the perfect holiday accommodation for our group.

It was one of the best equipped places we have stayed in and it is so light and spacious. Best of all, it was comfortable and very warm which meant my Mum didn’t need her hot water bottle at night! We had the best of holidays and would definitely recommend to friends.

Excellent eco lodge property.

Excellent wet room, perfect for my disabled daughter. Excellent Kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great quiet location just outside of Truro. Equidistant from north & south coasts.

A wonderful quiet area with a collection of Lodges which are well spaced apart so you do not feel in each others pocket.

Great lodge, TV in all bedrooms and lounge, large comfortable beds, all very good.

Ash was a fantastic holiday home; we loved it and hope to return in the future.

Thank you very much

We enjoy staying in Ash.

It was not our first time so that indicates how much we like it and the location.

We had a fabulous stay in the cottage which was a perfect layout for my mum who is 91.

The location is beautiful and peaceful but then only a few minutes drive from Truro. We thought the quality and facilities supplied were excellent and would highly recommend as a great base for touring Cornwall. Thanks Rose

Has all that you need in the lodge the roadway to the lodge is very uneven and bumpy if you are in a Wav you feel every bump.

But that the only fault I found

Spacious, peaceful and well equipped lodge.

We particularly liked the light and airy feel and the fact that the lodges were spaced far apart so that we weren’t overlooked at all. It felt very private. Michelle, our host, was super friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for places to visit. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Had a fantastic week away in a great location, lovely lodges with a very friendly host.

Another brilliant holiday spent in one of our favourite places.

Ash is extremely well maintained and is in a lovely quiet location. A definite home from home. The property manager Michelle was very approachable and friendly.

A quiet and peaceful environment for a relaxing holiday.

The lodge has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It was clean and comfortable. The site manager Michelle was lovely and sorted an issue out with the toaster shorting the electric in the kitchen - maintenance were with us very quickly and new toaster sorted. The welcome gift was much appreciated too. Definitely think we'll be returning.

We have stayed before and found sofas too low for us especially me I’m disabled, but Michelle the lady that greats you arranged a brilliant job of putting rubber cups on the legs to raise them it was fabulous can’t thank you enough, these lodges are absolutely beautiful, allso a nice welcome gift wine biscuits fudge jam milk and a box of chocolates, thank you so much, We love it here large spotless light well equipped lodges lovely and warm, bright, beautiful beds kitchen three showers on suite beautiful,in a lovely open green area so quiet get great nights sleep will definitely be back again thanks Michelle u and your workforce doing a great job

I have not given top marks for comfort as I found sleeping under a duvet with a protector on it was very stuffy and I woke in the middle of the night sweating, We also found the creaking of the floor boards annoying if anyone got up in the night.

Overall we were delighted with our stay at Ash, beautifully designed (apart from the floor boards) very clean and so peaceful. A little alarming trying to get to Falmouth from the turning to Kea church when the traffic was busy, much safer to head back to the Truro roundabout and turn there which is a shame when if the gate next to the lodges was open it would be possible to get to the roundabout at Playing Place and have a better chance of joining the traffic from there.

A quiet and very pleasant location and well appointed lodge.

The only issue which we feel needs addressing, are the loudly creaking floors in every room. Apart from that, we were delighted with our holiday choice and would certainly book again.

We were disappointed to find out that the golf course and club had closed last March but when we booked the holiday this was advertised has being available.

The men in our party had packed there own golf clubs and were hoping to play. I feel strongly that this should of been stated when we booked the holiday.

Beautiful lodge (9 more on site) on a lovely quiet disused golf course site.

Comfortable beds, always red hot water for plenty of showers. Proper wetroom facilities were amazing for my mother in law. Our host Michelle was amazing, very friendly and available to help if need be. WiFi and smart TV’s in each bedroom and living room were brilliant. Noisy floor boards (like someone else said), but you get used to it! The only downside (but wouldn’t stop us booking again) was lack of cupboard space to store groceries in the kitchen and small fridge for 6 guests. The wine fridge was a bonus though, although too small for our prosecco (standard bottles and magnums ;-) …) Would definitely recommend and would gladly return.

We were delighted with the lodge and all its facilities, the peace and quiet on the site and the fact that this is so suited for anyone with a disability.

The welcome gift was delightful and the help we received from Michelle was great. We had a fantastic 4 night stay.

The cabin and surrounding area was just lovely!

Unfortunately, we didn't have great weather but we made the most of it. Cannot fault the accomodation at all. It was gorgeous. And Michelle who welcomed us was lovely and friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our holiday 99% -1% for floorboards creaking.

Peace and Quiet, very central for Cornwall and immaculate accommodation.

Brilliant lodge- Michelle was a fantastic host- beautiful surroundings and a perfect base to explore Cornwall- we want to book again straight away!

Excellent brand new lodge in a lovely setting with lovely walks around the estate.

Peaceful with no noise. Lodge wonderfully equipped. Would highly recommend.
