Trevow

Two things I always want when staying away is quality mattresses and the property being very clean.

The property was very clean and presentable although it's now getting dated. There were 8 of us and the property was big and accommodating. It's probably getting close to needing a refurbishment. Although I would still recommend it for a large family group because the space is great and the furniture comfortable. Everything you need is there. I would suggest mattress upgrades on some beds. The en suite bedroom which has a decent mattress is the exception. I appreciate different people like different mattresses so it can be subjective. The grounds are lovely and all in all it's a great place to stay. Steve Clarke.

Trevow is a lovely house, with gorgeous gardens.

Even a piano which was continually played by our granddaughter beautifully! It is situated next to a wood, excellent for dog walking.The kitchen is very well equipped . The lounge and dining room comfortable for a large group . The dogs escaped a couple of times, as the garden unfortunately does not have a gate. The main bedroom is very comfortable with a king sized bed and en suite. Sadly the other king sized bed was extremely uncomfortable and we had to put duvets and pillows under the mattress and a mattress topper on it for our daughter to be able to sleep. The same for our granddaughter sadly, so two weeks without decent sleep was a shame. We would definitely book Trevow again if this situation was addressed….fingers crossed it will be! Thank you for an otherwise super holiday!

Our family had a lovely, the weather was good, close to all amenities such as supermarkets, beaches and places of interest and got to visit lots of places such as Portreath, Perranporth, St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance, Truro and Lands end as well as Camborne & Redruth.

A lovely and spacious house in a well-maintained garden.

We were just two, but there would be plenty of room for a larger group. Although quiet and out of the way, an ideal jumping off point for sightseeing and close to shops and places to eat. Good nearby dog walking. The owner rang me a few days before we arrived in case we had any queries, and to give detailed directions to find the house. The approach is up a narrow lane with a tight corner so a vehicle larger than a normal car might have difficulties.

We really enjoyed our stay in Trevow children really enjoyed the table tennis in the games room.

.. set in middle of a lovely garden. Really quiet but not to far from amenities, owners were extremely helpful. Would definitely rebook in the future.

the garden is lovely and also secure for children and dogs .we would return again for a holiday in the future.

Overall really good lovely property, good facilities.

The only complaints were that table tennis seemed to be broken and we were confused about the refuse situation. The green bin was already full of black bags when we arrived and it wasn’t collected when we put it out on Thursday evening.

This is a lovely family house set in a beautiful and well maintained garden.

It is extremely well equipped and well located for exploring this part of Cornwall being within easy reach of Falmouth, St Ives, Helston and many fantastic beaches. Daily shopping requirements are easily met in Camborne. Sleeping flexibility could be slightly improved by making one of the twin rooms into bunks plus single bed. We had a fantastic holiday here and can highly recommend it.

Great base to explore from. But the Property can be easily missed as there is no sign telling you where the actual Property 'Trevow' is from the road. Access is up a very narrow lane with the property on the left hand side at the top of the lane, this is the first time you'll see the name of the property. Maybe a sign on a tree or something would be handy to indicate which 'road fork' to take off the main road. Good Modern Kitchen and good facilities. We think some upgrades are needed in some areas of the rest of the house. Because of the location [near woods] some rooms were quite dark especially the dining room, maybe a higher wattage lightbulb would help. Overall lovely peaceful retreat.

Listing wasn't accurate as said bodyboards at the property but there were none.

The owner resolved this satisfactorily. The kitchen is fairly well stock but surprising lacked a few essentials (e.g. scissors) and did not have enough forks for the number of people. Furniture is a little dated but comfortable. The garden is spacious but pets and small children can exit via the drive as there is no gate. The short track to the property is very rutted and uneven. A fully laden car with a family on holiday is likely to bottom-out. Overall would recommend as great location, a few additions in the kitchen would help avoid those minor issues.

One of the twin bedrooms was damp.

We enjoyed our stay in the comfortable, spotlessly clean and peaceful accommodation with everything supplied for a relaxing holiday.

Ideal location for visits to many interesting places. The property has plenty of room with a lovely garden in picturesque surroundings.

The house is in a great location, 30 minutes to Newquay, 40 minutes to Sennen & Lands End and our new favourite beach, Portreath, only 15 minutes away.

Great parking at the house, beautiful garden and grounds. Everything provided that we needed. We really enjoyed our stay

A very big house on arrival at three o'clock had to wait for cleaners to finish did not get in till three fourte the house was great very clean beds and comfy and very good location and a well presented house excellent for big families or large group of friends

Great location, very quiet and peaceful but close to Camborne for eating out and supermarkets.

Ideal for exploring the many popular tourist areas in the south of Cornwall. Lovely garden and outside space as well as spacious and comfortable indoors. Everyone enjoyed our week at Trevow

The house had everything you needed plus more A1

The controlled heating could be set higher in autumn.

We ran out of hot water and no instructions what to do. The private access needs work as there are rocks and holes to navigate and most cars scrape their bottom. Also navigating the rock enclosed feature (roundabout) is very tricky in the dark. Lots of edges that can scrape the car. OK it didn’t happen and we were very careful, but it could be so much better.

Comfortable house, very well equipped and lovely garden.

Very tranquil and well positioned for visiting both north and south coasts in west Cornwall. We had a very good holiday.

We had a lovely time.

I would highly recommend it.
