Trevow sits in a tranquil hamlet setting in a country idyll, nestled against a pretty native woodland yet easily accessible from the A30.

Accessed down a private driveway, this well-presented detached house has a generous wrap-around mature garden with a lawn and patio area.

Perfect for families and friends, cyclists, naturalists and walkers, or anyone seeking a rural getaway within a short drive of the most stunning sandy beaches and picturesque coastal resorts, Trevow offers a modern and spacious interior.

The contemporary kitchen has a breakfast bar and sofa, perfect from which to enjoy the surrounding views of the garden and native woodland or watch TV.

From ice cream maker to Nutri Bullet, food blender to recipe books, the well stocked kitchen contains all the appliances you will need come rain or shine!

Trevow makes a superb base for exploring the north and south Cornish coastlines.

A wide selection of beaches on both north and south coasts are easily accessible.

Most have RNLI Lifeguards on duty from 10am to 5:30pm.

Visit sandy Portreath beach with its fantastic rock pools, caves, great surf, cafes, bike, kayak, surf board wetsuit hire and surfing lessons.

For cyclists Trevow is situated within easy cycling distance of the Mineral Way network of 180 miles of linked cycle routes from Bude to Lands End.

The Coast to Coast part provides an easy, flat, off road route perfect for children with bike hire available.

For walkers access to some of the most stunning parts of the SW Coastal Path is close by, energy levels can be topped up by the many cafes along the way!

Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy spotting seals at Godrevy’s “secret seal cove” and all round the coast.

The area boasts a wide variety of birdlife and sealife.

Marine Discovery Tours are available from Penzance and there is a Seal Sanctuary at Gweek.

Hayle Estuary and Nature Reserve is a worthy destination.

The Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary and Newquay Zoo have more exotic creatures.

Iconic St Ives with dinky harbour, galleries, restaurants shops and four beaches, is a favourite resort.

A pretty train ride right along the coast operates from nearby St Erth Station.

Marazion, with big arc of golden sand is great for boating and kayaking, with the famous landmark St Michael’s Mount reached by a cobbled causeway or ferry.

Head to Falmouth with big harbour, National Maritime Museum and beaches for sheltered swimming.

Falmouth can be accessed by a fun Park and Float scheme.

Pool, 2 miles away, has good supermarkets for provisions.

CAMBORNE

Portreath 4.4 miles; Hayle 6.8 miles.

Camborne lies in the heart of a former mining community and was well known for its “Queen of Cornish Mines" - the Dolcoath copper and tin mine, the deepest in Cornwall. Today, Camborne is home to Heartlands, a community space covering 19 acres and scattered with remnants of the mining industry, providing a free space for visitors to explore the heritage of Cornwall, browse art and craft projects, stroll through the gardens and sit and share a picnic or enjoy lunch at the Red River Café. From Camborne centre you can follow an interesting town trail, or spend the afternoon in the museum before visiting the array of shops and pubs. A short drive from Camborne brings you to a wealth of sandy Cornish beaches including Portreath, Gwithian and Porthtowan. Camborne is ideal for exploring Land’s End, the Lizard Peninsula, Truro and the Eden Project, which are all easily accessible by car, ideal for a day trip.
