    “Absolutely loved this property.”

Very spacious for 4 people (albeit there were only 2 of us) and everything you'd need to self cater. Higher specification than I'd expected - really felt like a home from home, with well thought out layout and decent quality built in appliances ... and 2 bathrooms. Separate utility area off the good size hallway on the first floor, before you head up a further set up steps to main accommodation on top floor - so you do need to be mobile with steps. Comfortable memory foam beds. Lots of ...

Lots of wardrobe & storage space. And two dedicated parking spaces. Centrally located for our requirements - convenient if you want to visit both coasts of Cornwall and/or travel further West during your visit. Also well located for walking the Camel Trail as there is a bus to/fro Wadebridge and Padstow if you don't want to walk both ways in one day. It's just over a mile walk to join the trail at Bodmin (or catch that Wadebridge/Padstow bus which is 2 minutes from the accommodation to get you closer). Visit the Camel Valley Winery just off the Trail (week day mornings in Summer season) if you get a chance - especially if you get a dry sunny day. Only constructive criticism would be to please leave instructions for where to leave the different types of rubbish on check-out day, and any other requirements re bed/bath linen etc. This property will definitely be top of my list for future visits.

The property

Nestled on a tranquil residential street is this stylish apartment, converted from a historic granite building and found close to the centre of Bodmin, ideal for a lavish family break to Cornwall.

Lovingly-reviewed by travel website Trip Reporter, who enthusiastically praised the home's 'calm and serene aesthetic' whilst describing it as a 'perfectly turned-out apartment', Stores & Supplies is steeped with traditional character through its sloped ceilings, exposed wood beams and granite steps, with its own storage space and utility room located on the ground floor entrance.

Make your way up two flights of old granite stairs secured by a stairgate to find this incredibly contemporary space, home to two bedrooms, a family bathroom and open-plan living area.

Spend your evenings making full use of all the living area has to offer, rustle up a home-cooked meal in the kitchen with its state-of-the-art amenities and picturesque views out to Bodmin Moor, enjoying a quick meal on the breakfast bar, or enjoying a more formal family meal on the spacious wooden dining table, a fabulous spot to host an evening dinner party.

After dinner has been served, head towards the two large sofas in the lounge area, grabbing some snacks and settling down for an action-packed film night with a cosy blanket and refreshing glass of wine.

Retire to one of the stunning bedrooms after a tiring day of exploring Cornwall, choosing between an amazing double room benefiting from an en-suite shower room, or a twin room, both featuring Velux windows where you can stargaze in the night, offering a bright and airy feel to these chic rooms.

The twin room has full access to the sleek family bathroom, renovated to a high standard with a sumptuous bath and a overhead shower, letting you take your pick between a soothing soak or refreshing rinse.

Bodmin town centre is just a short walk away from the property, boasting fantastic amenities including a range of supermarkets, quaint bakeries, country pubs, and lovely cafés, as well as historic attractions such as the spooky old Bodmin Jail where you can take part in an evening ghost walk or discover their exhibitions.

Avid ramblers, cyclists and equestrians will love the opportunity to discover the famous Camel Trail, a scenic 18-mile route with links to Padstow and Wadebridge, there's also the chance to venture through Cardinham Woods with its choice of enchanting long walks to steep valley hikes, or Bodmin Moor with glorious surfing beaches and secret coves.

Don't miss the chance to spend a day out at the famous Eden Project, boasting thousands of rare plant species inside two amazing biomes which simulate a realistic rainforest experience and Mediterranean habitat.

Other lovely towns worth a visit include Padstow where you can sample locally-sources seafood and explore to harbour, or Lostwithiel with its historic castle, museum and bustling farmer's market.

Unwind with your loved ones during a luxurious stay in Stores & Supplies, a stunning base to discover all of Cornwall's renowned attractions.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel.
