“We had a fabulous week staying at Dune Haven.”

The property was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a perfect location to explore our favourite part of Cornwall. The garden was also great for our dog. One of the best houses we have stayed in over the years! We loved that we could walk into Perranporth along the Saints Trail with the dog and also good to have a lovely village pub, The New Inn, on the doorstep. We would definitely stay again and will wholeheartedly recommend to others.

It was our first time in the area, and we were especially looking forward to seeing Perranporth. The area is absolutely stunning. The house itself is in a great location, has great amenities, and we were particularly impressed by how clean everything was when we arrived. “We stayed for a week in October 24 and had a most enjoyable time.”

The house was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable as were the sofas. The kitchen had all the equipment you would need and the welcome pack was a nice touch.The location was really good and bonus was the pub only 3 mins. walk with good food.Also found netflix and amazon prime came in very handy when weather was rainy(3 days). would come back again and recommend Dune Haven to all. “We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage made even better with the beautiful weather.”

The cottage was very clean and tidy with a safe garden for pets. Well equipped kitchen and nicely decorated throughout. There's a excellent little supermarket and a nice pub close by. Bus stop just out on the main road. Also, there is a lovely walk called 'All Saints Trail' that follows a disused railway to Perranporth. Will definitely be back.

Great local shop and pub/restaurant. Only thing missing, having kids it can be a necessity when holidaying in the UK, would be a tumble dryer. A lovely cottage though and rebooked for next year!

“We had a lovely stay here in dune haven and everything was just right for our family.”

The garden was perfect for our dog to explore when we were chilling in the garden. The facilities within the house were perfect for what we needed and so close to where we wanted to go for the our days out. Perranporth beach was just beautiful which we enjoyed, and lots of things to do within an hours drive. We felt very relaxed staying here and had a wonderful holiday. The owner Sammy was just a text away if we needed anything and very helpful suggesting a few places to eat and visit . We will recommend this place to our extended family and friends in future and we will plan another visit ourselves

Great location and spotlessly clean with a lovely starter pack to get you going on arrival. Parking was a little tight for 2 cars but was able to park so no complaints. Everything you needed to pots and pans too bedding and towels. Would highly recommend a stay you wont be disappointed.

The facilities were also excellent and of high quality throughout. Welcome pack was a very pleasant surprise. Beds were super comfortable though one of our group did say his bed/mattress on his bunk bed could have been a bit more comfortable (however he can be a bit picky - the rest of us were more that happy!).

“Dune Haven is well placed for visiting all areas of Cornwall.”

The property itself is clean, welcoming and has everything you could possibly need for a home from home holiday. Sammy the owner has put a lot of thought into the property and the welcome pack (Cornish cream teas, milk, biscuits, sweets and more) which was much appreciated and saved a trip to the shops until later in the holiday. We were blessed with hot weather and the garden is sun trap so we were able to relax there late in the afternoon after a day out. We definitely recommend this property and will book again for our next visit to Cornwall.

The kitchen has all the equipment you could ask for or want, the beds are really comfy and there is plenty of storage for suitcases, clothes etc. Sammy (the owner) has done an amazing job in making the house feel like a home away from home, and touches like the cream tea and other treats really make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The communication from Sammy was fantastic, especially as our stay coincided with the news of the second lockdown in England, and we cannot thank her enough for all her help during our stay. We had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a holiday in Cornwall.

“Dune Haven is definitely a haven!”

Just perfect - the owners have thought of absolutely everything and the place was spotless. Comfy bed, plenty of storage space for food and luggage, and we enjoyed the conservatory for a morning cuppa or an early evening drink in the sun. An extra special touch was the wine, strawberries and cream tea ingredients which greeted us on arrival after a long drive. Perfect base to explore Cornwall and its stunning beaches and towns - thank you.

A welcome tray of essentials once we arrived was very much appreciated added to a welcome text. Dog friendly. The heating was on a comfortable warmth on our arrival. A clean and fresh feel throughout. This truly is a cottage that will not disappointment. Instructions to entry was clear. The owner has not cut any corners whatsoever! There really is not anything that this cottage did not provide!

“Marked facilities down due to height of bath, it is too high to step over for any person with mobility difficulties.”

We class ourselves as able bodied but my husband struggled to lift his legs that high. Older people would not be able to use the bath/shower. On this basis we would not recommend this bungalow to our parents. The uPVC door to the kitchen had no key available to lock although the utility outer door could be locked, maybe we are too security conscious! All in all this bungalow is well positioned for visiting Cornwall and the welcome pack was very good, including treats for our dog.

“What an amazing last minute find Dune Haven was.”

The welcome pack included even dog biscuits and Sammy text a couple of times just to check all was ok. The gardens and home were exceptional all we needed and more. The location was perfection so close to everything and with a wonderful pub and shop not even a 2 minute walk away. I will definitely be recommending this beautiful gem.

“What a beautiful little home from home Dune Haven is.”

It’s perfectly located to access the stunning beaches at Perranporth and only a few miles from Newquay. The house itself is really well equipped and is spotlessly clean. It’s perfect for a family because it offers plenty of space for everyone to have their own perfect quiet spot. I loved reading in the conservatory in the late afternoon following a busy day at the beach. Dune Haven is a dog friendly cottage; you really won’t need to bring anything for your four legged friend because Sammy provides dog bowls, towels and treats!!! Plus the rear conservatory entrance is a really excellent space to dry them off (dogs and kids) before they come into the house. The back garden is very secure and it is private, with good quality furniture to dine outdoors, which we did a lot because we had beautiful weather. We’ve stayed in dozens of holiday cottages in the UK and Dune Haven is up there with the best. Thank you Sammy for a perfect stay and for your generous hospitality. The Caseys, Plymouth.

“From the moment of setting a booking with this holiday Bungalow the owner couldn't do enough for us.”

She went above and beyond to make sure that anything we asked for she tried to accommodate. Arriving at the bungalow we were met with the warmest of welcomes with little individual surprises to make sure we settled in well. From sweets for the kids and scones and cream for adults it was a very warm welcome. nothing has been left without a though,t as every day essentials were provided, making this weeks holiday stay very relaxing. the bungalow is well looked after,very clean, and makes for a very comfortable stay, and with us being a family of 6 that's is very important. all in all this is a great place to stay and would highly recommend it

“We really enjoyed our holiday at Dune Haven.”

Its was lots of space there for the five of us. Nice and tidy rooms, with light and space. Kitchen was good equipped and even a barbecue waited in the garden for us. Washing machine, freezer, fridge, barbecue - everything you need for a brilliant holiday. Its a nice location to explore cornwall, 5 minutes with the car you are at Perranporth beach and can do some body surfing or go for a amazing coast walk. Half an hour drive you are at the other side of Cornwall to enjoy swimming at the calmer see. (Do not miss Penzance and St. Michael!) “We booked a last minute break at Dune Haven and it was a great choice!”

The accommodation has been very tastefully done out with comfortable beds, good quality bedding and comfy sofas. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking in and included a dishwasher and washing machine which is always nice! The outside space was also well thought out with patio table and chairs on a large decked area which was a real sun trap, and also a small lawned area which we also made use of for sunbathing. The hosts also provided a BBQ and charcoal which we made good use of. We were also provided with an excellent welcome hamper of local produce including cornish tea, coffee, fudge and it included doggy treats for Buster dog, who was very appreciative! A nice touch and one of the best welcome hampers we've ever had. The location is ideal too, sitting a couple of minutes drive outside Perranporth which has a lovely beach, some nice little shops and a well stocked Co-op and is 1 min from the road into Newquay, which is 10 mins down the road.There are plenty of tourist attractions nearby so it's ideally placed for a family holiday. We would all recommend this cottage as an excellent base for a holiday, and would certainly book here again.

“This is an amazing cottage.”

It is very clean, tidy and comfortable, just like a show room. The location is actually very good, easy to access the west and south coast. We love this accommodation very much. Internet speed is also very good. Highly recommended!
