“We’ve just returned from a week in Newquay and staying at Oceans Seven.”
We were not disappointed the split level apartment is just lovely, with everything we needed. There are 2 bedrooms and bathroom/en-suite on the ground floor, with the living/kitchen and another bedroom on the first floor. There was plenty of room for our family of 3.
The views from the first floor living area and balcony are just fabulous, even at night watching the lights across the bay. It was quiet and we didn’t see any of the other residents whilst we were there. The beds were comfy, arranged as requested and we all slept very well, waking late most mornings.
The apartment is within easy 5 min walking distance of Lusty Gaze and Tolcane beaches and is a good 30 min walk or 5 min drive to Friskal. We came for the surf, which didn’t arrive until Wednesday and we went to Friskal as the surf was better, but it is possible to surf/body board on the other beaches. We also walked to Porth which is further away but a nice walk along the coast. It’s about 10 min walk into Newquay town, with plenty of restaurant options. There is also a Tesco express and local bakery within a few minutes walk.
The hosts Jacky and Dave were so welcoming and provided the best welcome pack we’ve ever had, which was very much appreciated after a 5 hour drive! They kept in contact during the week to check we had settled in and that everything was okay. Thank you Jacky and Dave for making our stay the perfect get away we needed, we will be back!

Its great that you found lots to do despite the surf not being up to scratch, and even though its supposedly out of season, and demonstrates that Newquay is a good all year round destination for families too. Many thanks.
