Best balcony view around.

Been at least 6 times and looking to going again next year.

The apartment has a large balcony with seating and a fantastic view.

We appreciated receiving a call from owner Geoff to check that we were happy. As a result his friend came straight away to show me how to use the television. The lift meant that we were able to access this stylish apartment easily. The location is close to bus stops, eateries and interesting gift shops. The parking space is right outside the front door. The Welcome Gifts of a cream tea, milk and fresh flowers were gratefully received. I particularly enjoyed watching the birds swooping in front of the balcony.

Very nice appartment, well equipped kitchen, only the shower is quite small and the water pressure...

We spent 1 week in this beautiful apartment and the view was exceptional.

My husband and I took our 86 year old father and without the lift we wouldn't be able to enjoy the view. The view across St. Michaels Mount bay was breathtaking. The apartment was warm clean well equipped will all that you would need to have a comfortable stay. I will definitely recommend the holiday home and will love to return one day hopefully in the near future.

From the moment we entered the property we felt comfortable, it was like home from home. The apartment was lovely and clean and had everything you could need. The views were absolutely amazing of St Michael's Mount and the sea! It was great to have a private parking space too. We spoke to Geoff, the owner a couple of times as we had a tiny issue with the TV, but it was sorted quickly and no further issues. It was nice to speak to Geoff, he was very friendly and helpful, thanks Geoff. We would certainly come here again in the future.

Beautiful holiday apartment, bright, light and airy.

Fully equipped. Fantastic views of St Micheals Mount and surrounding areas. Having the lift is an added bonus plus the parking space. Loved our week sitting on the balcony, people watching. We will definitely be going back.

You can't get much better than this.

The apartment is on the second floor, the top most floor. Accessible by lift or stairs. The main bedroom has a large patio door and leads on to the balcony. The living room has 2 large patio doors which also lead onto the patio. These patio doors give an incredible view to the beach and car park but the jewel in the crown was the view to St. Michael's Mount. The patio has a large glass panels with amazing views. The whole apartment is 5 star and we will be definitely back.

We had a wonderful week at Higher Mount View.

There was literally everything you needed to ensure you had a comfortable stay. Kitchen was fully stocked - and more. Shower and bathroom were perfect - no issues with water pressure or temperature problems like we've had in other places we have stayed. Comfy beds too! The space was ideal for us too, with the balcony being a big part of why I chose to book this property. My husband loves bird watching and he was in his element. To top it off, we were left a lovely gift in the fridge which was very much appreciated. Geoff the owner was in contact while we were there, just to check in and make sure all was well. He gave some great recommendations for places to eat. Personally the Cutty Sark was a favourite! We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked to go back next summer. Thank you Geoff, for a making our holiday as relaxing and stress free as it was, I would highly recommend this property.

The property was beautifully decorated and well appointed and provided a wonderful environment to enjoy our holiday and admire the fantastic views.

Although not used there was the facility to use a bbq, outside table and chairs, log burner and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen was superbly fitted out and if there had not been such amazing places to eat out we would have been more than happy to cater in. The lift was a genius provision and made access so stress free. An amazing, amazing place to stay and I do hope we have the opportunity to stay again in the future.

Another absolutely brilliant two weeks in this fabulous apartment, the view is spectacular and there is nothing I would change - it must be the best apartment and view in Cornwall.

The property is absolutely fantastic, clean and with everything that you could need, and the addition of the lift makes the access for everyone so simple.

MY 7th STAY IN HIGHER MOUNT AND HAVE ALREADY BOOKED 2025 MANY MONTHS AGO AS IT REALLY DOES TICK ALL MY BOXES PAUL.

With the lift now in place making it easier to to get to the top floor.

The flat was lovely and clean and well furnished. The view looking out to St. Michaels mount and the bay is fantastic. Sea front only a few minuets from the door or look out the window a car park then sea and sand. Short drive to Penzance. Already booked for next year.

,Location and views from the apartment are second to none, we were blown away when we saw the view when the lift stopped There is a lot to explore in the South West and it is littered with with fantastic scenery which is also very historic.

The apartment has everything we could need including a decent shower and we did not need an A Level to be able to get it to work as you do some.. It is great to have parking right outside the front door and so convenient having four supermarkets close by: Morrison's, Asda, Sainsbury's and Lidl and an ice cream shop just up the road selling Callestick ice cream made in Cornwall with super flavours new this year!! .We allowed a day to explore the intriguing Saint Michael's Mount again, it was good fun walking across the causeway and we enjoyed the trip back by boat.

Fantastic apartment and view - exceeded all expectations, every bit as good as the photos shown in the brochure (we’ve been coming to Cornwall for over 50 years and haven’t been in better).

We had a fabulous two weeks holiday and decided to book this apartment again for next year after only two days stay. We couldn’t fault anything and the new lift is brilliant especially for transporting the luggage - ample car parking space at the back which is right outside the lift door

What a great apartment with a fabulous sea view.

Very clean and well presented. Beds are very comfy with great pillows. Plenty of storage for clothing too. Lovely touch having a cream tea to welcome us and fresh flowers in the vase. Tea and coffee supplied with milk too. We were not able to benefit from the outdoor furniture but another great asset to this property. Another asset to the property was a lift. We had a problem with this on our stay but this was remedied very quickly and the owner checked in with us regarding this too. Parking to the property was ideal and spacious. I personally didn’t like reversing out of the space onto the road. We would highly recommend this property and the surrounding area.

THE NEW LIFT AND SIDE EXTENSION ALONG WITH THE ENLARGED BALCONY HAS MADE HIGHER MOUNT A STUNNNG HOLIDAY PROPERTY.

BUT TO WAKE UP EVERY MORNING TO THE BEST VIEW IN CORNWALL COME RAIN OR SHINE IS THE REASON WHY I COME BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR PAUL.

Higher Mount View has the most stunning views from Marazion to St Michael's Mount.

Perfect location for just relaxing or for discovering the wonderful history of the area. The addition of a lift made it accessible for a couple of less-than-able-bodied visitors for a week of rest and recuperation. Thank you Geoff for the lovely cream tea and helpful support.

Lovely touches on arrival, views are amazing. Comfortable and warm. Everything you would ever need. Hosts even called to check on an issue out of their hands to apologise. Brilliant! We would love to return. Would recommend the Kings Arms for food (need to book) and following St Michael’s Mount on social media due to weather closures. Had a fantastic holiday. Thank you so much.

We stayed at this property back in May.

We couldn't fault the views and was the main reason why we chose this property. The biggest let down was the building work going on at the time which we were informed of but not in an accurate way. Builders were on site drilling from 8am in the morning and standing on our balcony looking at us, so that put a stop to being able to use the balcony during the day. We were advised that the building work would not impact the property in any way which was not true. We also has issued with wi-fi and parking. Having made contact after our holiday with full details, we were told the owner had no interest in the feedback and was not willing to compensate us in any way. Due to this short sighted view and lack of interest in the customer experience, we would not return to this property or recommend it to anyone.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Higher Mount View.

Despite the weather being mainly wet and windy, we had a wonderful time. The view from the property is outstandingly beautiful and constantly changing. The cleaner did an amazing job as it was spotless, well appointed with everything you could possibly need. It is perfectly situated to explore Cornwall as well as the beautiful village of Marazion. From the moment we arrived, with a warm welcome of fresh flowers, a cream tea in the fridge, milk, tea and coffee, we knew it would be difficult to leave at the end of our holiday.

We had a lovely week at higher mount view, just a shame the weather wasn't better so we could have made more use of the wonderful balcony.

The view was just stunning, we would highly recommend this property and it would be even better when the lift is installed.

Stunning property with the most perfect sea view .

We spent a lot of time sitting with a cuppa looking at the sea and St Michael’s mount . Facilities in the flat really good with comfy beds , great Kitchen and lounge area . A lot of stairs to the property so this is the only fal back for anyone with mobility problems . Within easy access of the limited facilities in Marazion there are some better shops a short drive or bus ride away in and on the way to Penzance . We have stayed in Marazion a lot but this property is by far the best because of the views .

Amazing apartment.

We had a fantastic New Year, drinking wine and watching the uninterrupted views of the colourful St Michaels mount, and distant fireworks over Penzance and Newlyn from the fantastic balcony. Very well equipped throughout. Even a large teapot!!! Thank you. We will return.

We had a lovely stay at Higher Mount View over the Christmas period.

The apartment is well decorated and had all the facilities we needed. The view is amazing and we had a great overall stay. I’m grateful for the owners for the lovely arrival flowers and treats and also setting up a Christmas tree.

Views over the bay were outstanding. We fully recommend. There was no teapot and we would have appreciated having one. The poor state of the front of Camelot House is a detraction, and was an initial shock. We fully understand it is a jointly owned area, but improvement is necessary.

The property has recently had patio doors added to the living room and main bedroom with a huge balcony giving beautiful views over the sea and St Michaels Mount.

The amazing new balcony and double glazing are superb and the reason to book again, which hopefully i will do.

. Shame about the non stick pans which really do need replacing, two non stick fry pans please. The rest of property is truly 5 star.

What a fantastic refurbishment, the long balcony and floor to ceiling patio doors, make the very most of the superb views your property has.

My guests were impressed by the breath taking views, whilst I have visited previously and will do so again. Your property is a credit to you and we really enjoyed our stay, thank you very much.

We found Higher Mount View to be a great location for staying in Marazion; it was comfortable and the view is excellent.

The stairs are are hard work for oldies like us but the views make up for it. Parking on site is a nice bonus. We would strongly recommend Higher Mount View.

The holiday apartment was very nice,second time of staying,very comfortable and clean and beautiful views

my only complaint is there was only 1 non stick pan and that was not certainly not non stick sadly the case in many holiday apartments.

The location couldn’t be better and the views are fantastic, we have been before and would book again.

That being said, the apartment could do with updating and some attention. Cleaning needs to be more thorough, the mirrors in the bedroom were not clean, dropped something and happened to look under the sofa and that’s not been done recently (urgh), the blind in the twin room is broken & useless as a means of keeping light out as are the curtains in the main bedroom. The duvets are incredibly heavy and in the summer in a top floor apartment could REALLY do with being much lighter. The sofas are as flat as a pancake! Lots of things could do with replacing now, the heated towel rail is a bit grim, missing bit of flooring in bathroom, wardrobe doors that don’t close. Overall we would return simply because of the location but a bit of updating is overdue.

The view from the apartment was fantastic and Marazion is a great place to visit.

Wardrobe handle in double room broke. Need to be able to open kitchen window but locked.

We know the area well and we’re pleased to secure this apartment so near the beach and have the best views towards Mount St Michael.

The place was well equipped,the linen and towels of hotel standards.Furniture was good quality.There was so much going on due to G7 preparations that seated on the small balcony we were well entertained.Marizion has everything one could wish,including Shops,galleries,restaurant,pubs.We recommend the small Castle rock cafe just 100 yards from the house and also the fish and chip shop opposite.If there had been better blackout curtains in the bedroom especially the twin room it would have been a five star review.Plus be aware there are many steps to the top apartment.Wiuld book again in a heartbeat.Thank you Sykes.

Fantastic location, lovely village, superb views, Cornwall at its best, only one slight downside is the number of stairs, but it is a top floor apartment, so shouldn't be a shock.

In our opinion it's worth staying at "Higher Mount View" just for the uninterrupted view of St Michael's Mount and Mount's Bay alone.

We spent many an hour on the balcony watching the world go by this last week. We personally feel that the accommodation has everything thing that you would be likely to need. As for us we do not have anything negative to say about the property. Nice touch to have scones, milk and flowers on arrival. Also nice to see the information booklet has been updated. We would particularly like to say a big heart felt thank you to the owners for agreeing to our request which made our stay at "Higher Mount View" very special this year. For that we are immensely grateful. All in all. We cannot recommend "Higher Mount View" highly enough, and with a fair wind and a bit of luck we'll be able to go back again soon. Kernow bys Vyken!

Very nice apartment.

Only downside was that there was no washing machine. Would have preferred one in place of the dish washer. Apartment was very clean, Hayley does a great job. Nice to find a bottle of milk in the fridge and a cream tea upon arrival.

Had a lovely time in a great property with what has to be the best view in Cornwall.

We will certainly be looking at Sykes next time we come to Cornwall.

Quite possibly the best view of St Michaels Mount in Marazion!

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday staying at Higher Mount View.

Marazion is a lovely resort, and the apartment was exactly what we were expecting.

It was clean and roomy for the two of us. Parking wasn't an issue either, having called in advance following a review left by someone who stayed before us who'd experienced difficulties. The view from the balcony was spectacular. We had a vase of flowers and some scones and cream left for us on arrival, which was a nice touch. In your specification about the apartments facilities, I would suggest adding that there is an iron and ironing board available. It would have been helpful to also have had a baking tray and bedside lamps too.

Although this property is supposed to have a designated parking space, we arrived to find the space occupied, which is not a nice experience after driving 250 miles.

We used the space for the cottage next door to unload and then had to find an alternative facility before the owner of that cottage returned. Considering that the property is on the second floor, unloading in a hurry after a long drive was not a good beginning to our holiday. We established that the rogue parking was from the ground floor occupants, who seem to think that they have a right to park in any space available for days on end. Their car finally moved on Wednesday so that we could utilise the allocated space but it returned when we went out for the day. This is not good enough and left us with an uneasy feeling each day as we did not know where we would be able to park on our return to the property.

We have stayed here before, and absolutely love the view, the flat, having parking, and the convenience of it.

I needed a holiday, and slept a lot in the very comfortable bed. To be able to sit in bed, or in the living room with the sea just outside the window is wonderful. A few little niggles! 1. In our old age we had difficulty with the television! We spent the week watching ITV or nothing! 2. I really like to have a bedside light! ( solved at the car boot sale....for £1!) 3. My husband prefers a fairly upright chair, and struggles to get up from squashy settees! Solved by using one of the chairs off the balcony! 4. It was disappointingly cloudy and cold! But we did have a few sunny periods. At least we could stay in the warm, and watch others getting cold and wind blown!

We loved Higher Mount View, I booked it for my brother's honeymoon a few years ago and have been promising ourselves to book it for us.

( When we could get away as a couple). We were not disappointed; it met all our expectations; It is ideally situated a minute stroll from the Godolphin arms that boasts unrivalled views of the Mount. I have news for them, grab a bottle of wine and sit on the balcony at Higher Mount View; now that is a perfect and exclusive view.

The hovers toclean the flooring need replacing .

Higher Mount View is a very comfortable apartment with all one could expect for an enjoyable holiday.

We have no complaints and will definitely be booking again for next year.

What a fantastic property, the view from the top floor was amazing This was a Home from Home, an excellent well presented cosy place to stay There was every amenity you could have hoped for in this very well finished apartment Marazion is a great little place with a choice of restaurants you would not get in most Towns Pasties and Scones in abundance, especially the ones left for us by the owner A great property with great local food, many thanks for a great weeks stay!

We loved this holiday so much we have booked again for next year's half term already.

Everything as it describes especially the view. Lovely and warm and I now miss hearing the waves from our bed at home . Perfect The lounge sofa the (sofa bed one) was a little worn and uncomfortable now but used the other sofa more which was not a problem . As you enter Camelot house it looks a little worn down and dark but as soon as you see the views from up the stairs and in the flat you forgive this. Can't wait to return .
