Very well presented property, lots of care taken in maintaining this property to a very high standard plus excellent interior choices.

Very friendly owners, a lovely touch was a Cream Tea welcome.The location is excellent with places of interest a relatively short drive away, however, some might find the very narrow Cornish lanes a bit of a challenge. Overall we had a brilliant holiday at this venue.

Superb cottage, spotless and bright, everything you could ever want, owners next door if needed but left us to our own, dog loved the space and had great time on our walks, would highly recommend, loved everything, will book again Thank you!

This beautiful cottage with fantastic views is set well off the beaten track.

All aspects of the cottage felt newly decorated and spotlessly clean.

Valley View was just as it was described and even better.

My wife, myself and terrier dog Nelly throughly enjoyed our week. The accommodation was clean and tidy just what we wanted. Handy for coastal path walks and Nelly loved. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family.

The accommodation was ideal for the two of us,it had everything you need, during your visit the owner even brought round a fan which helped during the hot weather.

The only thing we found different was finding the place As the instructions to get there we found difficult,so had to phone to get directions.

Valley view was everything we hoped it would be very comfortable plenty of room for two of us even though it was a small property nice comfy bed good size bathroom with a great shower.

Very quiet and peaceful with great views all around it. Perfect location for local beaches and attractions and only five minutes to Mevagissey, look forward to returning soon

Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need whilst on holiday. Location was perfect with lovely views across the valley. We much enjoyed the cream tea left by the owner.

A stunning location and pristine accommodation, very well priced, nicely close to Mevagissey but still very much in the countryside.

We loved the enclosed garden, as did our dogs, and sitting there in the evening, identifying the bird calls, was another highlight. Friendly owners, fresh cream tea waiting on arrival, great setting, lovely views, and in great condition. We didn't want to leave, and will certainly be back. Many thanks.

Valley view Lovely cottage off the beaten track with amazing views of the valley towards Mevagissey Bay.

Cosy cottage providing everything we needed for a weeks stay. Delicious cream tea and scones set out on arrival. Owners very helpful with local knowledge and cottage immaculately clean with lovely shower and comfortable bed. Our dog enjoyed walking around the owners fields and woods early morning, meeting the Guinea fowl, the cat and the horses on the farm. A good half hour walk downhill to the village which had plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from, the walk back is not for the faint hearted!!The cottage was a good base to travel to neighbouring villages. Great coastal walks, gardens and lots of restaurants nearby by car. Would recommend, The Fountain Inn, The Crown and Barley Sheaf plus fantastic Sunday Roast at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Only downside was wifi strength and 9am checkout but a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

The views across the valley are stunning.

The property is very well maintained with a kitchen/dining/lounge room, very large bedroom and large shower room. The garden is large pretty and dog safe with ample parking space. Location is good for driving to local towns and beeches, though lanes to the property can very muddy in the wet months due to farm traffic. We would visit again.

One of the best places we've stayed.Well equipped with everything you'd need for your stay. A nice sized enclosed private garden for dogs plus access to the large adjoining field and woods. Fantastically situated for visits to nearby Mevagissey, Portmellon, Goran Haven as well as Lost Gardens of Heligan. For walkers it's ideally situated not far from the SW Coast path. Plenty of local pubs n cafes close by too. And finally, the hosts are lovely too. Whats not to like. Im sure we'll be back for a 3rd visit.

Lovely property , nicely decorated and furnished , great bathroom with good shower.

Garden out the front with gates to enclose it . Just out of the driveway is a field and woods , great for a little walk with our dog. Very peaceful. Friendly owner who knows lots about the area . They have 3 very cute dogs . Highly recommend a stay here .

We loved our stay at Valley View.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. A fabulous location, countryside on the doorstep and a short walk to the hustle of Mevagissey. Thank you for a fantastic base for our holiday.

This was our first stay at Valley View in Mevagissey, but it certainly won't be our last.

The property was clean and comfortable, with a very homely feel to it. The amenities were spot-on, but the best thing for us personally was the secure garden for our dog Bonnie who had a whale of a time exploring, and making friends with the dogs who lived next door. We are already working out a date to stay again next year.

This is our second time of staying at Valley View, and as before, the property didn't disappoint.

An amazing location, everything we needed was there, a lovely secure garden space which Ronnie, our dog loved. Located perfectly as a base to venture in to Mevagissey itself, get to beaches and explore woodland areas - all on our doorstep. The owners are lovely, and scones, jam and clotted cream awaiting us on our arrival.We would highly recommend this as a place to come and we will definitely returning again next year. Ideal cottage very near to Mevagissey, and other well know attractions.

Our dog loved the secure garden. Perfect for us. Mevagissey is just a 20 minute walk along beautiful lanes. The owners were really helpful. Our only suggestion would be the addition of a summer duvet as we were too hot due to the exceptional great weather in April.

Beautiful views , comfortable and clean .

All that is required is there. Heating is a bit hit and miss at times , bright and well decorated . Very dog friendly surroundings . On a constructive note , could have a illuminated mirror to put on makeup and a electric point near it to dry hair . Also did notice that could hear quite clearly other people in the cottage next door plus food cooking smell did come through on occasion from the neighbouring cottage . The checkout time is also earlier than all other places we've stayed (usually 10.00am) so a bit rushed . Overall a lovely stay .

Perfect stay!

From the moment we checked in to leaving it was just an absolutely blissful way to end the year and go into the new one! Stunning location, decorated and laid out in a lovely and spacious way! The treats were a lovely welcome

Had a wonderful long weekend in this cute cottage!

It was extremely clean and comfortable with outstanding views and you could even glimpse the sea in the far distance! We loved the quiet countryside location but that it was near Mevagissey too. We were able to explore South Cornwall with which we are not so familiar as we have holidayed in the north for many years! The owners were friendly and recommended places to visit! The cream tea left by them was welcoming and delicious and much appreciated! We will not hesitate to return here!

Everything was perfect , the hosts were always on hand if you needed anything , but you didn’t because everything was in the cottage that was needed , and all good quality , lovely view to wake up to every morning .

It was exactly has seen on line , The bed was very comfortable , two delicious home made scones awaiting for you on arrival , what more could you ask for , it was in the middle of the beautiful countryside and not far into Mevegissey , I would recommend this cottage and holiday to anyone

Lovely property, with one of the best gardens for the dogs we have found in Cornwall.

Beautifully decorated and very clean with all mod cons including good wifi. Jo and Mark really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Lovely location just outside Mevagissy with lovely beaches and restaurants ect within a few miles. Our favorite beaches for dog walks - Vault and Par.

Fantastic enclosed garden for our dogs to explore. Great little woodland walk. So incredibly cosy, comfortable and homely inside with everything we needed for our weeks holiday. Lovely decor just to our taste. Great little DVD selection too. We thoroughly enjoyed snuggly evenings in watching a film. Safe to say we were very sad to leave.

Lovely warm cosy cottage with amazing views.

Our first Christmas away and we managed to cook a full turkey roast dinner in the neat little kitchen. The cottage is ideal for exploring all the lovely towns and villages around that area. The dog friendly garden was perfect for our dogs to roam. Mark and Jo were friendly and helpful and on hand if needed. Would highly recommend.

A lovely stay, perfect for us.

we had a lovely stay, first thing we saw on entering the living area, was a Cornish cream team, with wonderful scones clotted cream and jam, plus milk for a cuppa.

The cottage is very tasteful and clean, well equipped and a great place to visit all the coastlines, quaint villages and towns and beaches, and the Lost gardens of Haligan in this area.

Our German shepherd (gibbs) loved the freedom of the garden.

He even liked the postman, even though postman was surprised he was there lol. (Sorry postman). This is a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful place to stay. The cream tea was a very nice touch, scones beautiful, thankyou.

We certainly loved our week at your apartment.

It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable and everything was provided for. You had literally everything you required, down to all the cleaning equipment and entertainment. Only found out you had jigsaw puzzles and playing cards on our last day!, towels and poo bags for the dogs. Our dogs loved it and to have the freedom in the garden and your adjacent field. We certainly love to come back some day and would definitely recommend your holiday home to friends and family.

We chose Valley View for our weeks stay as we wanted somewhere in the countryside where our two Cavaliers were welcome.

The property was delightful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped and there was even a cream tea waiting for us on arrival. Our dogs were able to walk around the enclosed garden in safety and our hosts were very friendly and offered any extra help if needed. Thank you. We had a wonderful week in a perfect location for us. If you like being 'Off the beaten track', I would definitely recommend it.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location.

The cottage was extremely clean and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. We felt really relaxed after our holiday and couldn’t fault a thing! We would highly recommend the cottage.

This is a beautiful cottage, very clean and comfortable, large garden ideal for dogs, owners are friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend staying here for a holiday.

We had a great stay the dogs loved ii especially the bit of snow we had on the Monday.

There were Scones clotted cream and jam waiting for us along with some eggs and milk. There was even a birthday card and some fiz for the wife. We will be going back later this year.

Fantastic cottage.

Clean warm and comfortable. Well equipped with everything of good quality. It is situated in a really quiet area within wasy walking distance to Mevagissey and the Coastal Path. Great secure sole use garden for dogs with a private field and woods adjoining. Jo and Mark.are fabulous hosts. Look forward to a return visit.

Getting rid of rubbish.

Visitors do not know what goes in which dustbin bag as every borough is different. I would suggest this is written in the property instructions on arrival.At this property there was a black bin a red bag an orange bag and a black sack dustbin.

We recently stayed at the property for 4 nights and we cannot recommend it enough.

The property was clean, well stocked and exactly how it was described online. We’ll definitely be coming again in the future!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay - wonderful hosts, very friendly and property was very clean with everything you need (would have been great to access Netflix for an evening movie when it's rainy) - BUT we were so busy we didn't really need it :) Our labrador loved it, lots of open spaces within the property to walk.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings.

There were scones, jam, cream and half a dozen eggs there for us on our arrival but it would have been better if there was a pint of milk too so we could have a cuppa because, after a 7 hour car journey, I needed a coffee. The cottage was central for lots of exploring and lovely walks locally. Mevagissey was within walking distance, easy to get there as all downhill but it was a steep climb back up. The one thing I missed was a washing machine. We stayed for 2 weeks so would have been good to be able to get a few bits washed ready for week 2. I am not being negative, just giving feedback because we really did enjoy our stay. Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs too.

We had the most wonderful stay in Valley View.

The accommodation was lovely and we were able to comfortably accommodate our 2 giant breed dogs for our 14 day stay. This was a fantastic base for exploring the miles of coastline and scenery. We felt so welcomed throughout our stay, especially with arriving to clotted cream scones and fresh eggs. It was also nice to have a few cupboard essentials as well such as the tea, coffee and sugar. Our 2 dogs had a large garden to bumble and chase about in and became fond of your resident dogs through the fence. We had a restful and peaceful break and will look forward to booking again in the future. Thank you

Valley View is a lovely place to stay and call base for a week in a perfect location to explore Mevagissey and Cornwall in general.

It is a clean, well presented apartment that was always comfortable to come back to each evening and peaceful. The short distances to Mevagissey and Portmellon make walking in to town and it's wonderful amenities a pleasure, although be prepared for the steep hills on the way back! The welcome pack of a homemade cream tea with local jams and eggs was very welcome.

This lovely cottage was perfect for my dog and myself.

The bathroom has been beautifully refurbished removing the bath and replacing with a large walk in shower. So much human and pet consideration. More provided than I expected. The garden was large and secure, the paddocks and woodlands all clean and clear for the dog o run in. Once here you can walk into Mevagissey only 1 1/4 miles away. Thank you. X

The hosts were really welcoming and made this a very enjoyable stay with many thoughtful, kind gestures (and delicious scones upon arrival!). The village of Mevagissey was also great to explore with other towns nearby - overall, perfect location, lovely cottage and would highly recommend to others for a wonderful time away.

A lovely little cottage, we stayed over Christmas and had a beautiful lazy time.

The dogs loved the garden and woodland especially the little pond. The eggs on arrival were lovely as the scones. The owners were very friendly and had a chat when we bumped into each other but apart from that completely left us to our own devices. Brilliant.

Everything had been carefully thought out to make people’s stay a perfect holiday.The view from the cottage were stunning looking down over the valley. The family who own the cottage were so lovely. Location had an elevated position with lovely views across the valley. A cream tea and fresh farm eggs were provided on arrival which was very much appreciated. Lots of walking straight from the cottage suited us perfectly.

This was our third visit to Valley View and once again we were not disappointed.

The property was spotlessly clean upon arrival and the cream tea was very much appreciated. Our dog, Rosie, had her own treats of biscuits, towel, bowl and place mat which were so useful. Mark and Jo have recently taken ownership of the property and have worked hard to enhance the extended grounds which you are welcome to use in addition to the secure garden which you can enjoy with your dog. Although Mark and Jo live next door they are not intrusive in any way and totally respect your privacy, however, they are extremely kind and helpful. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The new owners were very friendly and welcoming.
