For younger visitors, there’s a well-equipped children’s park on the village outskirts, an activity centre, and a small aquarium nearby.

Film enthusiasts may recognise Chapel Cottage as the former Police Station featured in the popular Rosamunde Pilcher series, adding a unique touch to your stay.

Please note, while there is no on-site parking due to the central location, guests can use the convenient drop-off area outside, with several car parks, including Sunny Corner and Willow, just a minute away.

We were all very happy with our stay at Chapel Cottage, it was home from home

The property was very clean.

On the down side there were no basic items. Salt and pepper pots where missing. No welcome package was left for guests (milk, bread etc), which is always a nice touch. The shower was slow and the rail was damaged. The blinds where not the best ones to use for bedrooms, roller would be a better option. They where also damaged and had a job opening and closing them. Parking was a big issue too, as roads are very narrow. Overall was a nice stay as property was clean and well kept.
