Bert's Barn

Lovely comfortable, cosy barn in an excellent location, short walk to a beautiful beach.

Everything we could possibly need. Very friendly owners, great communication. Fantastic part of Cornwall to visit with friendly relaxed local pub, delicious pasties and invigorating coastal walks. We will visit again.

This is a lovely old dog friendly barn conversion providing everything you need for the perfect holiday.

Mullion itself is ideally placed for exploring the Lizard peninsula and there are lots of small bays within walking distance. Jim the host was readily available if there is any issue - we had none - and welcomed us when we arrived and was there to say goodbye when we left.

The property is in a good location, close to amenities and great to travel around.

Note that there is only space for one car next to the property.

We have been staying in these barns for a number of years under different ownership.

They have always been and still are a lovely place to stay in this special part of Cornwall. They are spacious and very comfortable. The walk down to Polhurian beach and over the headland to Poldhu are lovely. Would recommend. Don't miss the harbour and it's lovely cafe. Gunwalloe mustn't be missed and The Halzephron is nice for food.

This is simply a fabulous property in a beautiful location.

We will definitely stay again.

We’ve just spent 4 weeks at Bert’s Barn and loved every minute.

The property is perfect, huge lounge with lots of character including vaulted ceiling and a log burning stove. 3 cosy bedrooms, kitchen with all you need and 2 bathrooms, one with a roll top bath. The location was perfect, with Pollurian beach only a 4-5 minute walk, the village centre with pubs, shops and a chippy maybe only 3 minutes walk and then you have access to lots of other great places only a short drive away. The hosts Jim and Rachel are great, very friendly, full of local knowledge and very helpful. We really felt at home staying at Bert’s Barn and we would have happily stayed on another month or even two if we could. I think these cottages are pretty new to Sykes and I’d imagine will get booked up for next season very soon. There are 2 other cottages in the same courtyard so if you’re a multi family wanting to stay together but not in the same house, this place would be ideal. We would love to go back again sometime soon. Ash and Sarah.

Beautiful cottage and so close to a gorgeous cove.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed as a family of 5 with a dog. Would definitely recommend .

The landlords are very friendly and accommodating.

The barn is basic but cozy and beautifully furnished.

We only stayed for 3 nights but wished it had been longer!

We would definitely return. Jim was welcoming and helpful. The property was beautifully presented and the kitchen had everything we needed. A lovely location within walking distance to a quiet beach The only tiny thing I would suggest would be pull down blinds on the stained glass doors, but only as I’m a light sleeper.

The local secluded beach is incredible, very memorable stay, hosts are very friendly and helpful, all round wonderful time had by all x
