Oofoo’s Barn

The barn is in a perfect location.

It’s only a 10 minute walk down a pathway to Pullurian Cove, a quiet bay with no car access so wasn’t ever very busy. It’s also only a five minute drive to Poldhu Cove which is also lovely with a big car park and a café. It’s easy to walk into Mullion village where there are two pubs. We ate in The Old Inn a couple of times. I also had a great spa treatment at the Mullion Cove Hotel. We were lucky with the weather but even if not it would still be a beautiful place to stay. The cottage itself had everything you would need and a lovely big bath in the bedroom which I used a couple of times.

Great location, close to Polurrian beach, a pleasant walk along footpaths and about 10 mins away.

This beach cannot be accessed by vehicles so was very quiet when we visited in May. Oofoo’s Barn was a cosy, quiet, comfortable and well equipped base to visit the Lizard peninsula. The bedroom was huge and included bath, shower and toilet in an open plan design. Pubs and village shops were close by and again within easy walking. Jim the owner was helpful with suggestions about local interests and where to buy fish for a bbq on the beach. Dedicated parking and a patio area added to the appeal of this accommodation. The solitude at night was amazing and the property and local area was very dog friendly. We hope to return one day and would thoroughly recommend.

The property is in a great location for exploring Cornwall and is immaculate inside. It has absolutely everything you could possible need. The owner was incredibly friendly, and gave us some great recommendations. We very much look forward to returning! Thank you for a fabulous week!

What a lovely stay at Oofoo’s barn.

The bed was SO comfy, the accommodation was warm and cosy during the storm and after we were able to sit outside on the private enclosed terrace (which was really handy for our dog!) The beach was in walking distance and we spent hours there and it was perfectly placed for cliff walks and all the local amenities. Being on a no through road, there was very little traffic so it was really quiet. Jim was lovely and there when needed but otherwise, we were left alone which suited us. We are booking again!

Beautiful barn conversion.

This is a well furnished and very comfortable place to stay. The open plan upper floor is simply stunning to wake up and relax in. The barn is situated down a little lane which leads to a footpath that takes you directly to the coast path and the beach. The little village of Mullion is a 5 minute walk. We love staying here, it’s so quiet and relaxing, we hardly need to use the car as everything we need is in walking distance. The owner is very friendly and helpful, with great recommendations of where to visit. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

nice place to stay and relaxing accommodation to return to every night

Had an amazing stay at the Barn, Mullion is a beautiful village and the beach is great and within easy walking distance, great place for exploring the rest of cornwall.

The cottage is beautiful and has a very cozy, relex feel and the upstairs is a beautiful space full of light, perfect for two and a doggo!

Great place to stay.

Very peaceful location, perfect spot. Would love to return in the summer months. The owner was very welcoming and was happy to be contacted if there were any issues, fortunately there wasn't any, the barn has everything you require. The area on a whole is absolutely stunning. Great memories.

The property itself is fantastic, the perfect couple’s retreat.

We really enjoyed being in walking distance to the beach, the shop and the local pub (BBQ on Polurrian beach is highly recommended). The hosts were very welcoming, and offered local insights and helpful advice throughout our stay.

Stayed at Oofoo's for 7 nights, we both very much enjoyed our holiday.

The accommodation provided everything we needed and very comfortable after a hard days walking or lazing on the many beaches. We loved to stay in this Cottage for more than a week.

It is a excellent home base for all the points of interest in SW Cornwall. We also appreciated to find some facilities in the village itself, like fresh food and a pub. The cottage was as lovely and unique as it was displayed. The landlord was very friendly and gave as some good tips for our tips. We really recommend this "barn".

Perfect place to stay for a few days West Coast Path.

Jim and Rachel are nice hosts, excellent problem solving when we had an incident with de electric installation. Also good tips to go. The house is perfect en well equipped. We didn’t like the oil smell on terrace. We have had a good time and will tell it to other people.
