The property

Mary’s House is an inviting two-bedroom cottage set within the creekside village of Mylor Bridge in Cornwall, well suited to families and friends looking for a base close to the coast, a village pub, and welcoming pets.

Positioned in the centre of the village, park close by and take in the appealing exterior, located opposite a sociable local pub that adds to the character of the setting.

Step inside to find a neatly arranged sitting room, where you can relax after a day out, lighting the woodburning stove and settling in as the glow brings a gentle warmth to the space.

Move through into the kitchen and dining area, where everything is in place to prepare meals before gathering at the table to eat and chat, then open the door to carry food outside and enjoy the easy flow into the garden.

Head up to the first floor to find two pleasant bedrooms designed for rest, with the double offering a peaceful place to unwind and the twin ideal for children or companions.

Positioned between them, the family bathroom provides the option of a long soak in the bath, while the separate shower room, complete with pretty patterned tiled flooring, offers a fresh start to the day.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden creates a delightful extension of the home, perfect for morning drinks, outdoor dining, or reclining in the summer house on a lounger as you slow the pace.

With a shop and pub only a short walk away and the coastline within easy reach, you have everything needed close at hand.

From here, enjoy trips to Falmouth, where you can explore Pendennis Castle, visit the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, and relax on Gyllyngvase Beach; visit Truro to take in the architecture of its cathedral, browse independent shops, and wander through Victoria Gardens; or stay closer to the village at Mylor Harbour, where scenic waterside walks, inviting places to eat, and boat trips across the Fal Estuary await.
