The outstanding Cornish beaches, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the North coast and the quieter sands of the South coast are both 15 miles away, just waiting to be explored.

Close by is the award winning Camel Valley Vineyard, not forgetting the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants making for great days out.

Wadebridge a short drive away with it's vibrant shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants is also a cycle hub for the Camel Trail.

This popular traffic free trail for cyclists and walkers follows the course of The River Camel to the sea at Padstow.

The Halt is a 4 mile cycle ride along the trail to Wadebridge and then a further 5 miles to Padstow.

Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (8 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (15 miles) make for great days out.

The Halt is only a short drive (15 miles) to some of Cornwall's best beaches.

Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small towns of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships.

There is a good choice of country pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area.
