The Salt House

Excellent stay in Newquay.

The Salt House is lovely. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and the location is perfect for accessing beaches and town centre. We wanted somewhere minimum 3 bedrooms, more than one bathroom, parking, dog friendly and close to the town - ticked all the boxes

The property was brilliant for our family holiday, there was everything we needed and more.

We had a welcome pack of Scones, cream and Jam There were a couple of walls that needed maintenance and could have done with a couple of more seats around the kitchen table (just got 10 adults around the table however was tight) however this did not spoilt our holiday. There was parking for two cars and plenty of seats in the reception room. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Great location for walking into town and going to the local beaches. Would definitely come back. Thank you.

We were a family with young children and we had a lovely experience at the Salt House.

It was cozy, nicely decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The location is good being a short walk to the town and Fistral Beach. We would definitely come back to the Salt House when we return to Cornwall.

Absolutely fantastic property.

Had everything we needed for our large group. Location was excellent, close to the beach and town centre. Would not hesitate to book again. We were even allowed to check in early. Parking ideal as space for two cars. Thank you so much for such a fantastic holiday!

House was beautiful and incredibly well equipped; the kitchen had everything we could need.

Beds were comfy and the welcome gift of prosecco and cream tea was very much appreciated after a long 5 hour drive. The house was within a 10 minute walk of shops, bars, beach, play area etc so couldn't have asked for a better location.

Excellent property, very spacious and ideal location for local amenities and beaches.

Owner very helpful. We were advised that we could occupy the property earlier than expected which was really appreciated after the long journey down, Would stay here again.

The whole family had a fabulous holiday

It would be good to list that the house is situated on a one way street no big deal.

and it’s a very noisy street every 5 mins a bus arrives, as bus stop is straight over the road . House is lovely decorated and looked after.

The Salthouse was well equipped and beautifully presented, in an ideal location.

Caroline the host was on hand throughout our stay for the odd question. Despite the indifferent weather we had a wonderful holiday and made the most of the surroundings and the lovely house, we would not hesitate to return again.

Even left us scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival, what more could you ask for!

The cottage has everything you need for a fabulous family get together .

.. it’s in a great location to walk into town and the beach and 10 minutes walk to Fistral beach. We managed to get 2 cars parked at the back of the property. The little courtyard is a real sun trap and all amenities thought of . Spotlessly clean and comfortable and a lovely touch to be greeted with clotted cream scones and Prosecco on arrival . Would definitely return and highly recommend.

The Salt House was an excellent base for our family week in Newquay.

The location was great being only10 min walk into town or to the beach . The house was very clean, beautifully presented & a great space for a large family gathering . I would definitely recommend!
