What guests are saying
Pennine was clean, comfortable and warm.
Kitchen was well equipped. Only small issue is a mat by the inner door would be good for wiping shoes when entering the kitchen. I did use the mat from the front porch and returned on my departure. Fantastic walks from the property with Carne a beautiful beach only 30 mins or 20 depending on which route you decide, coastal path or fields. The local pub The New Inn with friendly bar staff is very close. I've not been to Veryan before and what a lovely village it is, picturesque and quiet. Very convenient for exploring Roseland and further afield. The local shop is well stocked with a good array of merchandise. The coastal walk to Portleo with another good pub, The Ship Inn is quite up and down but a brilliant walk which was recommended by the owner whom I had to contact over a small issue who was extremely helpful and understanding. Would definitely go back to Pennine.
We've stayed at Pennine several times over the past 5 years and always found it very welcoming, clean, comfortable, and well equipped.
It's a great base for exploring the coast and local area, including the nearby wonderfully unspoilt Carne and Pendower beaches, and Veryan itself is a lovely village. All in all we have become very fond of Pennine.
Lovely property in a nice quiet location.
Facilities were good and clean. Very minor things that would have been useful would be a mat inside the rear door and instructions for the washing machine (but soon figured out). One minute walk to the local pub. About a mile from lovely local beaches with sand and rock pools.
