What guests are saying
The property was on a rather large old housing estate.
Not a very nice location. Must have used a very wide angled lens making rooms look a lot better than they actually were ! Would not have wanted more than 2 guests ! The bathroom you couldn’t swing a cat in! A very outdated property. We were greeted with over powering paint fumes throughout the property and it was due to some paint work had been glossed and was still sticky! We had to keep all windows opened while we were in the property and both my sister and I had bad headaches every day. The house keeper offered to supply air fresheners of which we declined as would not have helped! Overall cleanliness of this property was certainly not up to standards. The wooden staircase to upstairs was lethal as no grip on steps. You could see signs of there being a carpet runner at one time but was no longer there. Found a dead fly under a pillow in the single room. Dead moth in a cup. Bits on floors throughout.when stripping double bed found stained duvet and mattress protector. There are too many other faults to list. Would definitely not recommend this property as standards were definitely not up to standard! Our 3 day holiday was spoilt and had we been closer to home we would have left after the first night. The only bonus was a large enclosed garden for my doggie and ample hot water.
Good house for a small sized family or a couple/single occupancy.
Nice and fairly well equipped, light kitchen (south facing) The garden has some views over Truro and has the sun all day which was lovely. Basic but comfortable. Downsides for us were only one toilet in the bathroom. No downstairs toilet. The stairs were steep, so recommend care needed with small children. Not too noisy despite being centrally situated. Very convenient for Truro centre. Overall I would return as it's good value out of season. Thank you.
Great place for a trip to Cornwall would recommend.
