“We had an amazing time staying here it was so peaceful and with 5 children for a whole week there was no bickering the pool was perfect we took some inflatables with us and with the lights changing it looked magical at night beds are super comfy the kitchen was equipped with everything you would possibly need and so many towels for using the pool and so on the play room was a fantastic touch also and given the fact Netflix and prime are also available and internet is available helped with the children also you do not get phone signal here but that just adds to the peace there is an amazing play park about 25 mins away Trethorne leisure park with animals outside play area outside and inside it’s insanely big with a arcade and the food there is also quite good and reasonably priced we had a few days out in tintagel and Boscastle walks are beautiful this is not somewhere where you go to shop until you drop very much witchey and crystals but I think this adds to the calmness of the area and Truro is 45 mins away from here which is not to bad for shopping.”

But to be honest we had amazing days just chilling by the pool with the bbq on it was bliss a all round beautiful holiday and we didn’t even care when it rained 10/10 from us

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.

Note this property only takes 7 day stays during July and August. Note Please be advised no stag or hen parties allowed.
