    “We enjoyed our stay, only problems were the shower, could not control the temperature, so we could only get it lukewarm, also found the mattress was too hard and didn't sleep well.”

The property

Ideal for both families and couples and perfectly located for beach, touring and walking holidays, Cribbar view is a spacious luxury apartment set on the third floor in a well-appointed exclusive development, close to the headland and overlooking the award-winning Fistral Beach.

Park up on the road and you’ll find you won’t need the car for the whole week, with all of Newquay’s amenities within walking distance.

After entering the apartment you are faced with a bright and airy hallway which leads you into the open-plan living room.

With a large sofa and TV, this room makes a fabulous space to unwind and reflect on your day.

Just outside, the private balcony awaits with uninterrupted ocean views that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the apartment.

Adjoining the open plan area is the kitchen, finished with oak units offering a sense of modernity and style to your cooking area as well as the convenience of an island.

Enjoy dinner at the comfortable dining area for four.

Hosting two bedrooms, the master boasts a soft king-size bed with an en-suite consisting of an overhead rainfall shower and bath as well as the luxury of a changing room.

Those staying in the twin can benefit from the family bathroom with a shower and bath.

With amazing coastal views from the door, walkers will be spoilt for choice.

From the apartment, Crantock Beach and Gannel Estuary are a walk away or a visit to Lewinnick Lodge may be on cards.

Where food is served all day, the lodge offers a full Cornish breakfast or perhaps the sound of excellent locally sourced food and brewed ales is to your taste.

If adventure is what you seek, then the Quicksilver Surf School is only a short walk away and with some of the best surfing conditions in the British Isle’s this might be an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Newquay town centre is pleasant walk away where you can find Newquay zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.

Holywell 6 miles; Perranporth 8.5 miles; Truro 14 miles; Padstow 14 miles.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting eleven beaches and over seven miles of golden sand three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a beachlovers and watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within 30 minutes. Picturesque St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is under an hour's drive or a train ride away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
