We had a lovely time at Estuary View.

The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. It is ideally located for visiting the local places of interest. The hosts also lived near by and were on hand if anything was needed. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved this place, in such a great spot to start with, we headed to Fistral Beach most of the time and it took us about 20 minutes, with 2 kids, a dog and pulling a cart along!

House was fantastic, everything we needed, spotless, little treats to welcome us and the beds were SO comfy! Oreo (the dog) loved it too, communication was great throughout. Thank you so much.

A wonderful house that had everything we needed in a great location for us.

House was lovely, comfortable and warm with an absolutely fabulous garden, lots of kitchen items if required.

You could see some parts of the Gannel which was really close by to walk to with the dogs - we just misjudged the tidal times! House is also close to one end of Fistral Beach, an easy walk into town (apart from going up a small hill) if you used the cut through which was all in the information booklet. Christmas tree was still up, as we stayed on New Year's Eve for 3 nights so that was nice. Really comfy large bed in the Master (which can be made into a twin) and good wardrobe space in main and 2nd largest bedroom. Sam and Amy the owners left us some lovely New Year's Eve gifts and a card, the table was also laid for NYE with party poppers and little blowers! There was also a basket with a large ball, some poo bags and treats for the dogs! They left clean water bowls down for our 2 Cocker Spaniels for arrival. They were also kind enough to tell us not to rush off by 10am on check out day, as they had no bookings that day. We would definitely recommend the property and would stay again. Sam and Amy couldn’t be better hosts they go the extra mile to make you feel like you are at home. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay and they even put a Christmas tree up and decorated the house to get us in the Christmas spirit. The house is so clean and the beds are really comfortable. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to holiday in Newquay especially being walking distance to the town and the beach.

It is in an excellent location with easy access to the Gannel Estuary, Fistral beach and Newquay town centre and beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amy and Sam’s hospitality was first class, ensuring we had everything we needed. They very kindly left some treats for us and our dog which were very much appreciated! (Especially loved the dig tag with “I’m on holiday” and local details - what a lovely, thoughtful touch!). Would definitely recommend Estuary View!

So, so happy with this property and highly recommend.

We had an amazing time, everything you need to make you feel at home. The house is lovely and warm, lovely comfortable spacious beds, hot powerful shower and a well equipped kitchen. There is also a great enclosed garden for the Dogs. It's situated in a quiet area and has nice neighbours too. It's just a short walk into the main Town with lots of amenities close by. Situated behind the property is the Estuary which the Dogs loved. There's lots of information provided about the area for you to read. It has private parking for two cars. This is our 2nd stay at this property, and already has been painted throughout showing excellent signs of continued presentation and maintenance. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by some extra little gifts for staying with them again which we truly appreciated. A great touch was a dog tag with the quote I'm on Holiday with the contact details. Until next time

We had an amazing time at estuary view, I loved watching the different tides from the kitchen window.

The view from the back of the house of Gannel Estuary is breathtaking, the home owners went above and beyond to ensure that our stay a real treasure. The house has everything we need to make our stay relaxing. We had a wonderful surprise of being able to make an hot drink after a long drive, also homemade sconces with cream and jam and fresh water and dog toys for our fur babies, it felt like home from home. Thank you for all the attention to detail to make our holiday a memorable experience.

This was our 2nd stay at Estuary View and was just has good as the first.

The accommodation is EXTREMELY CLEAN and comfortable very much home from home. The lovely treats left by the owners for us and the 3 dogs was very thoughtful and enjoyed by all. Location is perfect for a lovely seaside walk or a short walk to town and the Gannel Estuary is virtually in the back garden so another great place to enjoy when the tide is out. You really do not need to drive out of Newquay your spoilt for choice day or evening. Highly recommend this property and our next visit is already booked !!!!

Just spent another fabulous week at Estuary View As usual everything was perfect, the house was immaculate and the owners Amy and Sam made sure we had treats on arrival including doggie treats for our dog Storm.

Amy kept in touch before our arrival and during our stay. Estuary View is in such a beautiful part of Newquay, quiet but only a short walk to the town or the beaches, and the dog walks along the Gannel into Crantock are stunning. Estuary View is just home from home for us and we're already booked up for next year Sandra Graham and Storm

The house was perfect ,so close to beaches shops and river gannnel at the end of the house.

the infomsyioon guide was great. Even left lovely gifts for us ,bread, scones ice cubes ready to go was great after a long journey.they thought of everything, utensils , cushions games, dads everything.

The house is well maintained, beautifully clean, and very welcoming. The garden is well kept and very secure, our dog loved the doggy spa. The owners have provided everything you could possibly need and more, they even leave welcome treats for you and your furry friend. The house is in a perfect location, it's a short walk to Fistral beach and into Newquay town. We love being able to walk along the estuary down to Crantock beach when the tide is out. Amy and Sam keep in touch to make sure you have everything you need for a perfect holiday. We can't wait to come back next year.

The property is decorated and furnished to a high standard.

The sofas and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more.The garden is absolutely stunning,enjoyed by us and the dogs.In a great location for numerous beaches.The information pack is excellent. The owners were quick to respond to our question, and checked in that everything was OK.The lovely supplies they left for us and the dogs were greatly appreciated after a long journey.We had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and book again.

We had a wonderful holiday , the property was as described , perfectly clean and comfortable .

Garden was fully enclosed for our dogs and perfect location . The only thing I would suggest is if you are bringing two cars that the kerb drop to be lowered for the second vehicle parking.

A well looked after property exceptionally clean, decor nice and light, garden was secure for furry friends which is wonderful and nicely styled, comfort in the sunshine, with outside timed garden lights in the decking/wall lights, facilities in house was excellent.

We had an amazing stay at the estuary view in Newquay.

The house is very modern and has amazing views. The bed's were luxurious and the house had everything we needed including kitchen equipment, coffee machine, tea and they even left a welcone pack for us for when we arrived, this was a lovely personal touch. They also left treats, blankets and a toy for our dog which was much appreciated. The garden and landscaping is 5* even having a dog shower on the decking. Overall a very peaceful location but only 5 minutes away from the town centre and beaches. Would definitely recommend and return.

Super clean house with everything you need available. Sam and Amy are the owners and they go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need and are comfortable providing all the towels and bed linen and even a welcome pack for ourselves and our doggies. We would highly recommend this property if you like this area which is a stones throw from fistral beach.

We have had another fantastic holiday at estuary view in Newquay.

Great location for newquay, fistral beach crantock and the gannel all within 15 min walks in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is immaculate throughout lovely big bedroom looking onto the gannel, open plan living room and kitchen with doors opening onto a fantastic multi tiered garden. We brought our big dog Monty and he absolutely loved the garden with its sunny and shady spots for him to sleep. Rattan garden furniture, swing seat and table and chairs near a lovely big bbq it had everything we wanted. Sam and Amy are very friendly and communicate really well, even giving us some great advice when we needed a vet. Thankyou for an amazing time at your lovely house we can't wait to visit again next year

This is our 3rd visit to Estuary View, which I think says it all.

The property is always exceptionally clean and well equipped. There is a very thoughtful welcome box and detailed information pack, which always comes in very useful. The property is updated and maintained each year and the smallest of details considered. The location is perfect; a short walk to the beach and town amenities and easy drive to other local attractions. We certainly hope to return for a 4th time :-)

We have just got back home after staying a week at Estuary view and honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

It was a lovely house with a beautiful garden, absolutely spotless and is in a perfect location (a maximum 10 minute walk from Fistral, Newquay and Towan beach) 10 out of 10 and would recommend to anyone

The owners sent a useful information pack before our arrival with information on places to eat and things to do. There were tasty treats for us and the dog when we arrived. The house is in a great location and it's a short walk into Newquay town, Fistral beach is about 10 mins and at low tide you can walk along the estuary to Crantock beach which is stunning. The owners contacted us half way through our holiday to check whether we needed anything ( which I thought was a lovely gesture). The owners are super helpful and sent a very useful guide before our stay. They also left a much appreciated welcome pack for us and the dogs! The property is in a superb position to walk to Newquay or to walk to Crantock along the Gannel at low tide, a dog walkers heaven. The owners are so helpful before you arrive and the holiday brochure they leave is just so useful it has everything you will need to make your holiday stress free, from all the instructions on how to use all the kitchen appliances to places to eat and drink, to emergency vets. This house is absolutely beauuuutiful.

Everything you need in the house plus more. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and feels so homely. Close to Newquay Town, the harbour and 10min walk to fistral beach. The children and our springer Ivy have enjoyed 7 days on all the local beaches, including Crantock which literally is a jewel in the Crown. We,v had a fabulous week at Estuary View and have already booked for next year. The property was spotless on arrival, well equipped for our needs , the garden is lovely, the dog wash off is great after long walks , the short walk to the estuary is a real bonus.

The owner is close and contactable if any issues arise, we had none. Chinese and Indian deliver. We had a great week and will definitely use again.

This is an exceptional holiday home with very generous owners who are helpful and approachable without being intrusive.

It is in a very convenient place for town, beaches and lovely walks. The garden is lovely and completely enclosed so very dog friendly. Kitchen is well equipped and everything works. I have never stayed in a holiday home with so many teaspoons. (little things matter!) Also a huge, comfortable bed. We loved it!

A perfect house, the kitchen was well equipped, the welcome pack was brilliant the owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Our dogs loved the garden it is totally enclosed which for small dogs like ours was perfect. The bedrooms are very luxurious and very spacious. The house is in a great location for a short walk to the beach and very close to shops and Newquay town centre. We will be coming to stay again very soon.

The house is immaculate and situated in a quiet area perfect for access to the estuary, beaches and town. All walking distance (but quite hilly). The views out the back are lovely over the estuary. Amy and Sam have thought about absolutely everything, the house is fully equipped and extremely clean. They even left a lovely Cornish hamper for us with pressies for our dog which she loved!. The additional outdoor dog washing area is a real bonus for sandy pooches. We went in October so the weather was a bit unpredictable so couldn't use the garden but it would be lovely in nice weather. It's very secure and a nice size for dogs. Driveway parking for 2 cars. They were contactable throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this place. Best accommodation we have stayed in in a very long time.

The owners Sam and Amy were perfect hosts, extremely warm and welcoming, great communication and everything has been so carefully thought of and provided to ensure guests have a comfortable, relaxing stay. We have stayed in Newquay countless times but if like us you enjoy having everything close by to enjoy but like coming home to enjoy peace, quiet and relaxation then Estuary View is located perfectly for this. Estuary View is located in a very quiet and peaceful location which made our time here ever more enjoyable. We enjoyed the sound of bird song in the wonderful garden and Maximus our Maltese Terrier thought he was in heaven having such a wonderful garden to enjoy. The house itself was immaculate, kept spotlessly clean and I’m more than a little over fussy, everything you could want was provided for and the added touch upon arrival of a hamper of goodies was a touching and kind thought and very much appreciated. We rarely ever consider returning to the same place twice but most certainly will be repeat guests at Estuary View. Thank you Sam and Amy for special memories made to cherish all made evermore special by home owners that have put so much thought, care and effort into ensuring their guests have a home away from home stay.

What a lovely place to stay!

We drove into the centre of Newquay a few times and it was literally a 5 minute journey. The house itself was perfect with everything provided to make it a comfortable stay. All furniture was super comfy and the kitchen kitted out well. The garden is as good as it looks on the pictures! Highly recommend to anyone and definitely a dog friendly place to stay. We took our two pugs and they loved it. Thanks to the owners for checking in on us and happy to answer any questions we had.

Estuary view is a little Gem and the owners have thought of every little detail to make the stay easy and enjoyable.

The house was clean, warm and very welcoming - beds very comfortable. The welcome pack was wonderful and much appreciated. Communication with the owners is excellent. Loved the 'dog spa' - really great after an outing on the beach. There is nothing negative I can say about the property or owners - everything was just perfect.

Everything is kept clean, tidy and well equipped, to make you feel at home in this quiet and convenient location. Walking over for Sunday lunch at the Old Albion in Crantock was a highlight for us this time. We will be back.

This is a fabulous, comfortable and tastefully decorated house, in a great location.

It’s a few minutes walk to the Gannel where you can cross at low tide and walk to Crantock, a stunning uncrowded beach. In the other direction world famous Fistral is only a 10 minute walk via the step access on the southern end so you can walk straight there in a wet suit. The house has ample parking - a rarity in Newquay - a stunning landscaped rear garden and all you need for nights in or out with so many heavy restaurants. The owners are very friendly and provide a useful pdf and hard card copy information book. In fact it was their home, so you can tell it’s been taken care of to a better standard than most holiday lets. Beds are comfy. Modern heating and shower control. We’d use again without hesitation.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Sam & Amy’s lovely house, and everything was provided and presented perfectly again.

It is a really comfortable and homely house to stay in, located in a quiet residential road, with the adjacent Gannel estuary enabling walks to Crantock village and beach, or watersports when the tides permit. Thanks again

Plenty of parking for us, good space at the house for 2 adults and our small dog. The house was modern and clean, and close enough to what we wanted to be close to. The house was well stocked (cutlery, plates, etc) and the pre arrival information as very useful and well thought through. The welcome pack on arrival was very generous and delicious! We had the most perfect holiday there. Everything was taken care of from milk in the fridge, to dishwasher tablets in the drawer…a real home from home. We will be back!

A fantastic hoilday home with all the facilities a family needs.

(4 adults.... one 8 month baby and a 10 year old springer spaniel) Good location with everything you need a short walk away. Amazing location and home if you have a dog like us...even a doggie spa available for after those beach walks. Sam and Amy have catered for everything, such a lovely welcome hamper too,even the dog was looked after. Wish we could have had more sunshine,but you can't have everything and I'm sure that if we asked Sam and Amy would have provided that too. We would highly recommend this lovely hoilday home to anyone that asks and would love to come back soon. Thank you for such a great hoilday x

Beautiful house, very welcoming and very clean.

It was comfortable and easy to live in. Good location and plenty big enough for us for a week. Would have liked a few more bath towels, the front door was a bit difficult to lock sometimes and a new tin opener is needed! Dog spa was lovely, and the welcome gifts were a lovely touch on arrival. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend.

We have enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

We have come as a party of five +a dog. The place was more than spacious enough for us. The pup has bowls and blankets left for her. On the arrival we were welcomed with a lovely hamper of Cornish goodies and treats for the pup and very thoughtful bottle of chilled water, appreciated after a gruelling drive across the country. Property brilliantly situated on river Gannel which is most fantastic for walks and paddle boarding in high tide. Short walk to some lovely beaches as well as town centre, which is cozy and very nice, some nice places to eat, our favourite with a nice vegan menu was Lost Brewing Co. Cafe &craft beer bar. The places we went out to dine were all dog friendly. The owners very welcoming, helpful very friendly. All In all great location, great home, great ‘landlords’.

The property was cleaned to a very high standard and was well equipped including a very thoughtful welcome pack. The garden is a wonderful space, I particularly enjoyed eating breakfast outside looking out towards the Gannel. Communication with the owners is outstanding (the best I have experienced) and the information folder was really useful. The location of the property provided easy access to the beach and amenities, and an ideal location to explore the local area. Overall, an outstanding property and would highly recommend; we certainly hope to make a return visit.

This really was the perfect stay.

The weather helped of course but the house was amazing. Super clean , fantastically comfy beds and every detail clearly had the owners hearts involved. Brilliantly communicative owners. The garden was absolutely amazing. It was the best ‘room’ in the house. The welcome pack was so lovely … they’d taken the time to ask about our dietary needs and left a premium basket of vegan treats including 4 Cornish pasties…. Plus a some treats for the pooch…… These are the sorts of things that show the owners as genuinely caring rather than just being in it for the money. Can’t wait to return.

A lovely house, well equipped and plently of room for all the family and pets.

Great garden space and could not have asked for a better location to the Gannal. We would recommend a couple of sun loungers for the garden and that would make it perfect!! Hosts were attentive and responsive to any queries

Estuary View holiday was EXCELLENT, I could not faulty it at all, I stayed in the Headland Hotel cottages last year and would have here every time the views are fabulous and the garden love the little saying around the place it makes it so homely, even the welcome pack for the dog, ( no sighs of dog smells) the house is as clean as in the pictures,and the beds are so comfy after all the walking you need a good night's sleep,I could go on so hopefully there not fully booked for next year I'm hoping to book again EXCELLENT

We had a wonderful week the house was so comfortable it felt like home away from home.

The welcome hamper so was thoughtful and a lovely surprise. The house was so lovely we didn’t want to leave when our week was up! The dogs certainly didn’t they loved the back garden as much as they lived the beach . We will definitely be rebooking for a visit later in the year. Fantastic property, highly recommended if you are looking for a clean, well presented house to stay in Newquay.

The house is beautifully decorated and the garden is amazing! The information guide includes everything you would need to know from local attractions to recommended take aways and the gift basket was such a lovely touch. The location is perfect, it's far enough out of town in a quieter location but only a short 10 / 15 minute walk to town. Communication with Sam and Amy was brilliant. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Newquay then look no further, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if visiting again. Thank you again both for a brilliant stay!

This house was clean, well presented with quality fixtures and fittings, and well stocked with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay in this quiet but convenient part of Newquay.

The owners Sam and Amy are proud of their home and are enthusiastic about creating a lovely holiday home. They live locally and are on hand for anything that is required to ensure everything is perfect, which is what we experienced and would certainly look to book again.

The house was beautifully clean and was decorated and fitted out just as you’d imagine a house by the coast would be, with lovely little touches.

It was perfect for a family of four and our small dog, there were even blankets and food bowls for the dog and a welcome basket of goodies that was really sweet and thoughtful. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well fitted out for the few meals that we prepared there. The sitting room was also very cosy and comfortable. The garden is beautiful but the weather in October isn’t conducive to lazing about outside in the evenings sadly. I would imagine it will be amazing in the summer. The house is a perfect distance to explore Newquay and the bays nearby are within walking distance. Would thoroughly recommend.

The house has recently been renovated and it’s obvious how much thought and effort has gone into it. The space is great and very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The garden and views are beautiful and it was so easy to walk down to the estuary which offers lovely walks at low tide. It was also really easy to walk to the beach and into Newquay town. We would definitely book again to stay!

Kitchen utensils had worn out non stick pans which I wouldn’t even use at home as it is not safe.

It was clear they just left some old pans in this holiday cottage. Also a roll of kitchen tissue would have been good to have rather than us then going out to buy. Location was excellent and garden was beautiful, but living room is much smaller than what seemed in the listing pictures. Dining table was also a very cheap quality and uncomfortable one. Overall felt overpriced for the price we paid.

The house was beautiful. It was so clean when we arrived and was exactly as presented by Skye Cottages. It was incredibly well stocked with a kitchen full of all the utensils needed to create meals during the week. The garden is absolutely beautiful and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the summer evenings. The house is full of little touches that bring a smile to your face, from messages on the garden steps to beautiful photographs of the surrounding area and surf memorabilia on the walls. The location is perfect! Just a 15 minute walk from the awesome Fistral Beach, a must visit for surfers! The house also has a view of the Estuary and you can walk down there to take in the views and splash around! The owners, Sam and Amy, are clearly hands on. They email and message before your visit and are very responsive should you have any queries whilst you are in their property. They clearly value those who holiday in their home and aim to make the experience is seamless as possible. They have also put a lot of work into making their home unique, comfortable, and in keeping with local traditions making for an exceptional holiday base that inspires you to soak up the beach life. I cannot thank Sam, Amy, and Skye Cottages enough for providing such a wonderful base for our holiday and cannot wait to visit again next year.
