Start your day directly from the garden at low tide, where private steps lead down to the golden sands of the estuary.
Stride a little further seaward to Crantock beach and enjoy a Cappuccino or ice cream before taking a dip in the sea, a walk on the cliffs or enjoying a gentle paddle board upstream exploring the hidden delights of the Gannel estuary.
The village of Crantock is a brief amble from the beach and boasts several restaurants, pubs, and cafés. Later, why not head over to Fistral Beach, a short walk away, where you can try your hand at a variety of watersports including the world-renowned surfing and take advantage of the local shops, pubs, and restaurants.
Visit the exhibitions at the nearby Newquay Museum, take in the variety of wildlife at the nearby Newquay Zoo or Blue Reef Aquarium, or take a leisurely stroll around Trenance Gardens.
Spend the day in Holywell lounging on the sand trails of Holywell Bay, honing your swing at Holywell Bay Golf, or take a drive to the stunning and unspoiled St. Agnes Heritage Coast, an ideal location for ardent walkers.

We love staying at the Tower, this is our 4th (or maybe 5th?
) visit. It's all about the view as everyone says. The flat is very nice and definitely a bit quirky with the upstairs bedroom. BUT I find the sofas really uncomfortable, they are OLD and scruffy, they let the flat down. They should be replaced. Our stays are usually out of peak sunny weather and as a result we do spend quite a lot of time in the flat, as a result sofa comfort is a big thing for me.
Fantastic accommodation in a great position, beautiful views over the Gannel.
It was a lovely property in a perfect location with beautiful views - also very clean, so kudos to the cleaner.
There were a few things that would've make this a 5 star property for us: - The table on the high seat was not secured properly and our 13-month-old daughter managed to take one of the screws out which could've ended in disaster. Thankfully it didn't. I realised that it was only screwed in with 2 very loose screws - it should've had four. I took the table off the high seat for the safety of other guests and so it can be securely put back on with the proper amount of screws. - At this price point, I would've expected a few 'luxuries'. That's not me being snobby; I only say this because we have had the same at other similarly-priced properties and . Examples include: - A nice welcome hamper (i.e. locally sourced coffee/wine/chocolate etc.) - the scones and milk were a nice touch, but both were Morrisons own brand so it didn't feel very 'special' - just a bit stingy - Nicer products to use rather than the economy version of everything - like the hand soaps and the cheap washing up sponge that only lasted a few days so we had to buy our own. We also had to buy our own hand soap for the en-suite as there as only a small amount left, as well as replacement bin bags as there weren't any spares - All of the reed diffusers had run out and looked like they had for a long time...sounds pedantic, but the little attention to details like this go a long way - Leave proper instructions on how to use the EV charger as it's not just a simple 'plug and go' and everything has to be done in a very specific order within a set timeframe - I had to Google it in the end. Again, at this price point I would've expected a set amount of complimentary hours for charging per day as you often get in other properties.

The works are currently scheduled to be completed by the end of October; however, as they are weather-dependent, the timescale may be extended if conditions are unfavourable.
