Mould in shower, damp bedroom and living room walls. Widow nets and blinds are dirty and full of cobwebs and need replacing. Very damp wardrobe/alcove to damp to hang clothes in due to the smell. Kitchen cupboards extremely filthy no space to put any provisions bought with you, cups with tea stains in them. Lacking basic necessities like oven gloves, shower drying mat. It states in the particulars use of its own garden, however on arrival it states you can't use it due to lack of maintenance. The property needs to be updated on basic requirements to qualify for a four tick property, I would struggle to rate it for a two. You can hear every noise from the property above even down to the mobile phone ringing. It's the most disappointing place I have ever stayed in.

We have read through every point you raised and we are already working with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to go through the place properly. The comments about the bathroom, the kitchen cupboards, the wardrobe area and the general freshness are especially helpful, and we are making sure these are addressed straight away. We are also reviewing the basic items we provide so things like oven gloves and bath mats are not missed again.
I am also sorry about the confusion regarding the garden. It is currently being worked on and we restricted access for safety reasons, but that should have been made clear before you arrived.
The noise from the upstairs property is not something we can fully control, but we are looking into what can be done to reduce how much sound travels through.
I appreciate you taking the time to write this. Even though it is tough to read, it genuinely helps us put things right. We hope the changes we are making will allow us to offer a much better experience in the future.
