    “My wife dog and I enjoyed a lovely week late September after booking fairly last minute.”

    The Watch was a lovely place to stay, a calm and cosy ambience, very clean with lots of lovely touches that felt homely and welcoming. The digital radio in the kitchen was a lovely touch and we enjoyed having that on regularly. The location is fantastic with a nice view of Porthcurno bay, the windows let in a lot of light and made you feel connected with your surroundings. The staircase up the entrance was not too steep at all. We will certainly look to return

Land’s End 4 miles; St. Just 9 miles; Penzance 9 miles; St Ives 17 miles.

The small village of Porthcurno is situated four miles from Land’s End on the south coast of West Cornwall. The village has a sandy beach, a café, a restaurant that’s open during the summer season and cliff-top and coastal walks. Porthcurno is also home to the Museum of Global Communications, where you can learn about the underwater cables that connected the village to various places around the world. To the west of Porthcurno is the famous Minack Theatre, which is a superb open air venue with 750 seats and boasts views across Porthcurno Bay to The Lizard. Close by is Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland England offering something for all the family, and also within reach are lovely Cornish towns and villages, including the popular resorts of Penzance and St Ives.
