Loved the accommodation, very cosy and clean The views were awesome However the oven we found really difficult to get to grips with and we had brought food with us, which was not used The major thing for us was the lift was not working and that makes it very difficult getting luggage in and out, this definitely needs addressing There was nobody in the office to help Otherwise a lovely holiday

We very much appreciate your booking, feedback and the opportunity to respond. Very pleased you enjoyed the apartment and your holiday, we expect the weather was lovely too. Sincere apologies for the lift issue, I understand this to be due to the groundfloor lift door not always being shut properly, I can fully appreciate this was not ideal, the maintenance office is open 8.30-1.00 daily could have advised of a resolution to enable use of the lift. Instruction for the cooker are in the kitchen draw with other appliance instructions. Alternatively, a phone call or message to the housekeeper or HH , during your stay, would have addressed any concerns. It sounds as though you have enjoyed your holiday despite the points raised, thank you for bringing to our attention. Please be assured of our very best wishes Property Owner

About the location

KINGSAND

Plymouth 24 miles.

The twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with narrow streets winding between pastel-coloured cottages, lie on the Rame Peninsula just 5 miles from Plymouth, but because the high ground of Mount Edgcumbe lies between, you are not aware of being near a large city. Instead, you can relax in the peace and quiet of village life, and look out over Plymouth Sound which offers calm waters ideal for watersports, fishing and bathing. Take a walk south along the coastal path to Penlee Point for the glorious views of Rame Head, towering above the sea, or, a walk north along the coast will take you to Mount Edgcumbe Park with fabulous views of Plymouth Sound. From Cawsand, take a ferry trip to Plymouth and visit the Aquarium, the historic Barbican or enjoy a spot of retail therapy. Just a mile west of Kingsand lies Whitsand Bay, with 4 miles of sandy beach and dramatic cliffs. You really are spoilt for choice in this ‘secret hideaway’.
