“We stayed in no.”
2; 1 of 3 cottages which slept 4 people. In our case, 2 adults and 2 children. The cottage was physically beautiful. A stone facade outside and simply decorated inside. ( non fussy ). The seating was comfortable and draped with throws. Sky tv was available. The kitchen area was easily accessible with an electric cooker, full size fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. Most utensils were available.
The bedrooms: one, a double room with a comfortable bed.
Two: In our case was the children's room and the double bed had been separated. They both made the point that the beds were very comfortable. The room appeared slightly larger and was more airy with an extra window and a velux window.
The bathroom was a wet room with a powerful shower, toilet and sink. Alternatively, could be used for visitors with disabilities since there are no stairs.
The facilities included a fitness room with Crosstrainer, exercise bike and rowing machine. There was also a games room offering pool, table tennis, air hockey, illumiated darts board and table football. Next door was the Swimming pool and hot tub. Polgooth is ideally situated for several places of interest and beaches were very close.
The owners were onsite but were unobtrusive. If you needed guidance or advice, they were nearly always closeby, available and friendly. The properties were a credit to their hardwork.
The other guests were also very friendly and accommodating. Parking cars was straightforward in a designated space.
Perhaps, an unusual observation about our children was that they were never bored.
