A wonderful place to stay.

It exceeded our expectations. Lovely views and peaceful. I thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The games room was fun. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We are planning to go back next year.

Had a lovely stay at Chapel Green Studio, Polgooth, Cornwall.

Great to meet David & Julia who were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. They made us feel at home and were quick to answer any questions. Surrounded by amazing countryside it was a very pleasant week for us and our two dogs The studio itself is a ground-floor, accessible 1-bedroom layout with a garden, off-road parking, washing machine, Wi‑Fi and Sky TV. It’s dog‑friendly, which was a big plus for us, and the garden provided a safe space for our dogs to relax and have a run around. We had the shared use of heated indoor pool and hot tub. The location is convenient, about 2 miles west of St Austell, with easy access to attractions like the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Porthpean Beach. Its a quiet location, great if you want a little get away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage was clean, warm, and well‑equipped with all the essentials we needed. Hosts even went the extra mile by providing milk, eggs, homemade scones, and even prosecco for our arrival. Overall, our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and perfect for a family or pet‑friendly holiday. We’d definitely recommend Chapel Green Studio for anyone looking for a welcoming, accessible, and well‑located base in Polgooth.

Today is the day after arriving home from Chapel Green Studio, Polgooth.

Our 5th or 6th visit. Enjoyed it so much we have today rebooked it for next year. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is second to none, It is clean, comfortable and well maintained.

David and Julia are very welcoming we felt more like family than guests. We have stayed here many times before and have already booked for next year.

Absolutely superb.

The attention to detail was second to none. It was like home from home, everything you could ever want or need was in the accommodation, even items you may not have thought about. We cannot praise the owners enough. Julia & David are superb hosts.

Wow what a place, Chapel green was fantastic accommodation spotless and very well equipped the swimming pool and games room are a added bonus which we realy made the best of, set in beautiful well kept gardens surrounded by natural beauty, hosts really friendly and welcoming would highly recommend

We have had a fabulous stay at Chapel Green Studio. From start to finished we couldn't of asked for more. A lovely welcome from Julia and her granddaughter. Lots of lovely touches, from Prosseco, tea/coffee, eggs, milk and delicious home made scones with jam and clotted cream. Bed was lovely and comfy. The pool and Hot tub were fabulous, as was the games room and gym. Julia and David gave us lots of info on the area. A love pub nearby , great food and ambience. A great location to explore the area. Thank you . Will definitely be returning.

Julia and David were wonderful hosts.

Julia greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. We had Prosecco and homemade scones as a welcome treat and a few other essentials like milk and eggs. The apartment is so comfortable and ideal for a couple staying. Dogs are welcome and I regretted not bringing mine along due to the quiet area and beautiful walks locally. The hot tub and swimming pool were wonderful. Although there were other guests staying there it felt like our own private space. The games room was also a big selling point on evenings where the weather was awful. The location is so quiet yet really central to all the best spots, plenty of places to see with amazing food and plenty amenities a short drive away. The local pub was warm and welcoming and the local shop well stocked with everything you could need. I would highly recommend this place to stay. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have just got home from a most wonderful Family holiday as we booked all 3 cottages.

to accommodate the Family of 16, 4 generations Ranging from 81 years old to 7 months old. Plenty of space for the adults and children to play. The accommodation was spotless Well-maintained Garden for the children to roll about. Pool and hot tub were great for holiday fun as the children love to be in the pool. Which was nice and warm Somewhere to relax after a day out. Hosts, David & Julia were most welcoming and nice surprise of Scones Clotted cream & Jam (Cornish way of course) Milk, Eggs and Prosecco. We hope to return.

Perfect location to explore Cornwall.

The accommodation is very comfortable. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to self cater. Pool and Jacuzzi is warm and inviting. The games room is fun but we didn’t use the gym! We walked to the well stocked village shop and also to the pub. Lovely hosts, always available for a chat!

We had a fantastic time at Chapel Green , we were greeted by Julia when we arrived and shown to our studio apartment This was beautiful no expense spared , lovely bed , bathroom with power shower and French doors that open out into patio area Kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer cooker microwave and deluxe washing machine Rubbish collected daily aswell as dog poos if you bring your furry friends Up the stairs to side is lovely sun loungers and washing line Also fantastic swimming pool hot tub games room small gym All set in beautiful countryside Absolutely loved it here will definitely be coming back

A perfect 7 night break , accommodation was brilliant and the owners of the property were very welcoming and attentive.

Weather for the whole 7 days was perfect , a bonus to our lovely stay.

We have stayed at Chapel Green several times over the last four years, Once you find a first class place to stay you are reluctant to go else were.

Dave and Julia are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area this helps you find new things and are a great reference for what is on and were.

Washing machine rubber seal was very dirty, I had to clean it before I could do any washing.

Shocked to find several hairs on the bed sheet when I pulled back the duvet. I had taken pictures of the bed which I showed to the owner on their return to the property. They were most apologetic and said they would speak to their cleaner.

Chapel Green Studio is everything and more to make a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The grounds are stunning with every kind of flowers, trees and bushes. Even the greedy seagulls like to make an occasional visit. This was my fourth visit and I would so love to stay at Chapel Green forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

There business is an absolute credit to their hard work and dedication to deliver an excellent holiday to guests. We stayed in the studio with our two dogs, perfect set up, from the surprise gift and excellent scones to the fully equipped kitchen, sky tv , comfy bed and towels. You could just turn up with a tooth brush and some clothes as everything is provided. The grounds are immaculate and the pool, jacuzzi, gym and games room make your stay even more enjoyable. My wife's comment, simple " Nicest Hosts We've Ever Had" We visited the surrounding area from Newquay to St Michaels Mount to local places Fowey, Charlestown and others. Great holiday and lovely place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend to everyone.

The hot tub and pool were really wonderful too. Unfortunately my daughter and her partner, who live nearby and were the reason for our visit , developed covid at the beginning of our stay so we very reluctantly decided to leave early. Our dogs were very happy there as well and welcomed.

Absolutely lovely stay in this well thought out studio apartment.

Set in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and views. Everything that you would need is all here. Nothing was too much trouble, Julia was so lovely and helpful and went out of her way everyday to say hello. Mollie and I will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed in Chapel Green studio for a week during May half term and it was fantastic.

We arrived to a beautiful welcoming pack consisting of prosecco, eggs, milk a cream tea and tea, coffee etc, this was such a lovely touch. The studio had everything you needed for a fabulous week away including a hair dryer and ironing board and plenty of kitchen equipment. Honestly this place was fantastic and bigger than what the pictures suggest. We had lots of space and the bed was comfortable too. The wet room had a beautiful up to date shower and towels were a plenty. David & Julia were so welcoming. Julia gave us a little tour on arrival and told us about the local shop and pub in walking distance, which were both fantastic too!!. The hot tub and swimming pool were an added luxury which we used after days out visiting. This is shared with the other two properties but you were given a key to be able to use it any time of the day. We found Chapel Green to be right in the middle of Cornwall making it easy access to lots of attractions. We will definitely be booking here again when next in Cornwall. If your after a quiet, comfortable stay with added luxury away from the hussle and bustle of the busy tourist spots but in easy access to them then is definitely for you. This was our 3rd time here at Chapel Green Studio a fantastic place to relax with our 2 fur babies.

Swimming pool,games room and gym was well used by us, Idyllic place to stay in easy reach of seeing the beautiful beaches of Cornwall that are dog friendly. Julia and David are great hosts and have great knowledge of the local area. Just before we left Chapel Green Studio we have already booked to come back in June that's how nice it is there. Its was a lovely quiet spot , our host were friendly and we felt very welcome.

The area is steeped in history , and with so many things to do and see our holiday flew by.

As i said to the owner the shower is not that easy to operate or switch fully off.

Keep it simple as its one of those fancy ones which will always create problems. That`s all the pointers i have. It had everthing you needed for a truly relaxing peaceful Holiday. Location easy to find and so central to all Cornwall treasures. Hot tub and pool fantastic. Play area for the dog great top and bottom. Host best i have had the pleasure dealing with. The maltesers,coffee(quality)wine,milk was so much appreciated. would love come back again perhaps. Yes,studio and grounds surrounding was excellently kept to a beautiful standard.

Austell. Cornwall.Julia & David made us so welcome. We would definitely recommend to family & friends & we would definitely go back. They have a wonderful place beautiful surroundings,very peaceful, Millie our spaniel loved it too,she made herself at home. It was definitely home from home.

All i can say the garden and property is well kept.

The studio is very well equiped , the jacuzzie was great and i noticed it was emptied and cleand twice while we were there. Dogs are more than welcome . Will we stay again Most Defentely.

This is our third holiday with Dave and Julie at Chapel Green, Its like stopping with relatives you are made that welcome.

Each time we have been there have been improvements made. We will not be going back to caravans any time soon, We are back their in August for two weeks looking forward to this.

Beautiful cottage, everything you need is included, especially in the kitchen.

The hosts are very easy to get ahold of on WhatsApp and very very helpful. Cottage is always warm and cosy. Jacuzzi and pool are always nice and warm too. We stayed for 7 nights, we did not want to leave! Highly recommend this cottage and the hosts.

Chapel Green in Polgooth Cornwall is a lovely place to stay.

Second time here and had a great time. The owners David and Julia are so nice and accommodating Highly recommended Perfect if you have a dog .

First time visit would recommend to relatively fit People as is very hilly location.

Even driving in and out. Great location for Cornwall attractions etc. we went in late October weather v windy and rain for 5 out of 7 days. Lovely apartment all mod cons v comfortable.

Excellent studio, very well equipped, and a lovely welcome pack, the best ever!

Bonus was the swimming pool and jacuzzi . Lovely views over the countryside. Very helpful and pleasant owners. Good location to visit different areas. Excellent village pub. Perhaps add to the property description, that there is a very steep walk back from the village which may be difficult for the less mobile, however only five minutes by car.

Lovely cottage, great location and such brilliant hosts. In fact, it was so good, I don’t know why I’m sharing with you all, I want to keep it to myself!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay.

Couple of negatives. The bathroom. Shower is on the small side and there is nowhere to put toiletries etc. A couple of shelves would be useful. The large plant in.the dining area is far too big and impedes the seating area. Everything else very positive. Thank.you.

Our studio apartment was excellent.

It was spotless and spacious with a patio. It had everything we needed ,including the added luxury of a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. The only thing we would have preferred was a firmer bed due to back issues. One of 3 cottages in the grounds, we enjoyed our privacy. It was set in beautifully maintained gardens. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly to us and our dog, and lived on site, which was really good. We arrived to find a bottle of Prosecco , milk and a box of chocolates in our fridge, which was a lovely touch, especially after a long journey. A fabulous stay in a great location.

A beautiful cottage.

Lovely facilities and in a very nice village, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Some little touches made our stay extra special. I can recommend this cottage to everyone, and the cottage also accepts dogs. We really enjoyed our stay at Chapel Green cottage.

We spent a week at end of April 2022 at Chapel Green Studio with our labrador.

Julia and David made us feel totally at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack of eggs, milk, chocs and prosecco was a lovely gesture. The garden was secure for the dog and the setting is peaceful and stunning. The indoor pool a great plus. Mevagissey is 5 miles away and not to far to other beaches. Polgooth Inn is dog friendly and their pizzas were amazing. All in all a fabulous break. Thank you. We will be definitely be back.

Lovely position with lots of patio areas and the added bonus of a heated swimming pool 10 Mts from our door. Owners David & Julia on site and always available. Overall a wonderful destination.

Excellent studio apartment.

Great location. Friendly helpful owners on site. Lovely extras in the fridge for us. I really enjoyed the swimming pool. Very well equipped and good useable space for us and our dog. Minor negative points - very heavy king size duvet on double bed which kept sliding off. No dishwasher but fine when there are just two of you. Rather a lack of flat surfaces to put things on in kitchen and living area.

Very friendly and welcoming. The place was absolutely perfect in every way. My girlfriend and I and our 2 dogs spent 3 nights here and didn’t want to leave. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were exceedingly friendly and welcoming.

We found that a few essentials had been provided ie tea, coffee, sugar, eggs, milk but a very nice surprise was a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates! Yum. Thank you!! A very peaceful location and we would definitely love to return again one day.

The Studio apartment had everything we needed, spotlessly clean and also had a bottle of Prosecco, box of chocolates, eggs and milk in the fridge on arrival.

The swimming pool was also spotless I used it six out of the seven days of my stay and always had it all to myself. Porthluney Bay next to the Caerhays Castle was the beach Julia the owner recommended which was a beautiful place, safe for swimming. The Polgooth Inn is only a ten minutes walk away, lovely food and nice atmosphere. If you would like a peaceful place to stay Chapel Green will hit the spot.

We had never been here before and instantly felt at home with the surroundings, gardens and views,accommodation, pool and most importantly the hosts, Julia and David.

We stayed in Chapel Green Studio two years' ago so knew exactly what to expect when we arrived.

The owners, David and Julia, are brilliant. They keep the whole facility and extensive grounds in an immaculate condition. The only very small criticism is that there is insufficient work surface in the kitchen and no dishwasher but everything else is great.

A lovely place to stay.

Everything you need to enjoy your stay and the hosts were helpful and friendly. Great swimming pool. I am disabled and use a wheelchair and found the bathroom slightly small but for a couple it is ideal. There is another studio which is specifically designed for both able and disabled people which I looked over for future visits which would have been perfect but unfortunately booked for my stay. The area is ideal for visiting places of interest and the countryside is beautiful. What more could you want? Will be back.

We had a Lovely welcome at the studio at Chapel Green and what a beautiful setting we found ourselves in.

Although our stay was short we loved being there, and it was a nice surprise to see a few things left for us in the fridge including a bottle of sparkling wine. Spotlessly clean and comfortable the views were just stunning. We very much hope to visit again.

The welcome was warm and the facilities exceeded our expectations.

Cleaning materials, tea towels, bin bags, clingfilm and toilet roll included (important as the corona virus shutdown broke the week we were there). Very kind of the owners to leave wine, chocolates, milk, orange juice and eggs for us as well - thank you :) The studio is isolated and peaceful, outside table and chairs, seating areas would be lovely to use in good weather. The swimming pool was housed in a large orangerie type building next to the studio, - warm water, shower and lots of places to lounge, very nice indeed. The local shop is 5 minutes walk from the property and the lovely pub is about 7 mins walk away.

We loved this cottage!

Brilliant location, not too far from anywhere. It was clean, well equipped and cosy when the evening went chilly. Julia and David are perfect hosts, always available and accommodating but never intrusive. The pool was superb, we used it every day. There are some dog friendly beaches not too far away and also some quaint little villages with lots of history. Lovely area. We’re already planning our next visit!!

Lovey accommodation in the middle of nowhere but the centre of everything.

Great to get out and about and so much to door within 30 minute drive. Friendly helpful openers, dog friendly and very comfortable.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. Easy cycling to the beach, and the lost gardens. The owners, Julia and David, were always very helpful, but never intrusive. Go there again? Yes, yes.

Chapel Green Studio was great for 2 people and a dog.

The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall and was only a 10 minute walk to the local pub which served good food. The owners could not have been more helpful and gave us excellent advice on places to visit and dog friendly beaches.

A more relaxing week I can’t remember.

Chapel Green studio is a lovely little bolt hole.

A well thought out property with everything you need. The studio is spotlessly clean and although it is small it is well equipped . Lovely complimentary gifts from the hosts who are very friendly and are on hand if you have any questions. Our dog loved the dog basket provided and enjoyed the green areas at the front and back of the property. The swimming pool is a very pleasant bonus. I would definitely recommend this property.

Fabulous place,the studio was so modern had everything you need like home from home,the pool was a fabulous so clean,everyone was so friendly.

They treated you like family,and they went that extra mile by leaving eggs,milk,orange juice in fridge,bottle of wine and fresh fruit,I haven't stopped telling friends and family all about it, we are certainly going back thank yo so much.

We enjoyed our week at Chapel Green Studio very much.

Our generous hosts David and Julia kindly left us wine, chocolates, milk and eggs for our arrival which we really appreciated. The accommodation was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool which was lovely and warm. We would recommend this holiday let and hope to return in the future.

The studio was spotless when we arrived, with gift of wine and chocolates.

It had all the necessary facilities that we required for our stay, the kitchen was very well equipped, and as we ate in most of the time made cooking and preparing meals easy. David and Julia were great hosts and were always on hand, with help and advice for our outings. Would highly recommend Chapei Green Studio to everyone.

The apartment it self is lovely, very modern, very well equipped and comfortable!! The host are lovely! Very welcoming and extremely informative about the area and how to use the facilities. Really nice people, but kept out of your way during the stay so you still felt like you had your privacy. There were chocolates, wine, milk and eggs on arrival which was a lovely touch to come into. We had the fantastic surprise that their swimming pool had just opened when we arrived, which is amazing!! Your allowed to use this at night as well, which made it look really pretty with the blue lights. And a good temperature for swimming!! The village is great, has a local shop with all you need 5 mins walk down the road, and a lovely pub called the polgooth inn a couple mins walk on from the shop. Has a great vibe and lovely out door seating, which looks amazing at night with fairy lights and wooden booths. It gets busy at weekends so book a table to eat if you want to eat inside. Other wise they have blankets to take out side if you get cold. I thought it was soo well thought about. Lovely stay, lovely village, lovely people and a fantastic holiday! Thank you!!

I would just like to say perfect stay best place I have ever stayed.

Owners was very friendly always stopping for a chat or helping out with advice on where to go best route to go they couldn’t be any more helpful. The apartment was very clean with everything you need to cook etc also there was free wine and chocolates upon arrival was was a very nice touch. What surprised me further they provided milk tea bags and coffee to make drinks I’m sure what ever you needed they would provide for you. The surrounding area was kept very neat and tidy grass cut nice plenty flowers. They also provide a private patio where we had 2 sun loungers to relax in sun if you are a star gazer perfect at night to watch the stars. Also dog friendly we didn’t take our dogs but an other family did dog basket provided and looked very comfy for the dog. If you do stay in Cornwall I suggest this place to anyone to stay. Perfection is what I use to describe this place

Made our dog very welcome. Great pub in the village within walking distance.

Our accommodation was lovely, better still than expected.

Everything we needed for a good and relaxing break. Such peaceful surroundings. A walk away from a well stocked shop/ post office, with competitive prices and a pub with great beer and good menu. All these in beautiful country side. Most of all, the hosts are lovely people and we were welcomed with very welcome extra bits and pieces, above what was expected.

Great touring spot in excellent weather.

Studio was lovely. Set in beautiful surroundings. Sitting on Sun-terrace listening to nothing but birdsong. Extremely dog and people friendly hosts.
