The property

This two-bedroom lodge sits within an exclusive area of the Par Sands Holiday Park in Cornwall, just a short walk from a year-round dog-friendly beach.

Well-equipped and affording idyllic lake views, Lake View 10 is a superb choice for four guests along with their canine companions.

Upon arrival you are greeted by off-road parking directly outside the lodge, allowing you to easily unload your belongings.

Step into the open-plan living space, uplifted by natural light throughout, housing an inviting corner sofa facing the wall-mounted TV and electric fire.

Cross the threshold into the kitchen, equipped with all the essentials for home-cooking, whilst the dining table provides the ideal spot to settle down and toast to a much-needed holiday.

At the back of the lodge are the bedrooms, including the master double with TV and en-suite basin and WC, along with a twin room.

Start the morning with a refreshing shower before preparing a light breakfast to be enjoyed on the decked furniture, complimented by charming views over the lake.

Wander around the park and discover a range of on-site facilities; take a splash in the pool, enjoy a round of tennis or mini golf, wander around the wildlife lake or let the little ones explore the play area.

Within a gentle stroll is the beach, a wide sandy bay that is backed by low dunes and is welcoming to dogs year-round!

The village offers a good selection of tasty eateries, including The Welcome Home Inn, The Par Inn and Sweets Grill, as well as a well-stocked convenience store.

Venture onto Fowey, where you can learn about local marine life at the Fowey Aquarium, catch a ferry over to Polruan or swim the waters of Readymoney Cove.

Nearby is the famous Eden Project, offering tropical biomes over several acres, plus the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan.

If you’re looking to get your steps in, join the scenic Southwest Coast Path and appreciate the stunning scenery on offer, before returning to the on-site café for a bite to eat.

Fowey 4 miles; Charlestown 4 miles; St. Austell 5 miles.

Par village is located on the South Cornwall coast offering a sandy family and dog-friendly beach (dogs allowed all year round) on St. Austell Bay. The village is only 2.5 miles away from the internationally renowned Eden Project, which can be reached on foot through the leafy green Luxulyan Valley. Between Par and the picturesque harbour of Fowey, is the Gribbin Peninsula, which has magnificent views of the surrounding coastline and makes for an excellent walk. Close to Par are many places connected to the author Daphne du Maurier, including the small cove at Polkerris which boasts the Rashleigh Arms and which takes its name from a local landowner whose house was frequented by the author. There are many attractions in the area including the China Clay Country Park, Charlestown Shipwreck Museum and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A fabulous location to explore the rich heritage and magnificent coastline of South Cornwall.
