    “Lovely cottage , bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of kitchen utensils , crockery , glasses etc provided , much more than we could have used .”

    The cottage was extremely clean which to me was the most essential . Lovely patio to sit out on , but I feel the front could have benefitted with some screening , as we could see into the adjoining property and vice versa and definitely the dogs could as well , but overall a lovely property .

    Thank you for providing feedback and we are pleased to hear you thought Guillemot was lovely. It is important to us that all our properties are not only spotlessly clean, but also well equipped and comfortable. We own the adjoining property Cormorant and have either a venetian or roman blind at all the windows to the front to give guests privacy from the other property. Indeed all bedrooms at both properties have both a venetian and a roman blind. The website does also state that both Cormorant and Guillemot are part of three Seaspray holiday cottages. Cottage Summary

Guillemot is one of the three Seaspray cottages at the end of West Pentire.

This two bedroom cottage is a bungalow which means that guests with less mobility or small children can get around easily.

The cottage is decorated in bright, summery colours and has a coastal feel to it.

There is a fully enclosed patio at the back of the property with stunning views over the Goose Rock to the Newquay coast, making it ideal if you are bringing the dog with you!

The Seaspray cottages are a five minute walk from Crantock beach one way, and a short walk to Polly Joke beach the other, making it a haven for families, walkers or surfers.

A few minutes walk away is The Bowgie serving food and drink with the same fantastic view, C-Bay, a Bistro with great food, a lovely family atmosphere and of course, the view.

Crantock village is only five minute drive away, or a 20 minute walk, where there are two more pubs, a Londis grocery store (now selling Baker Tom freshly baked bread), a Post Office and other village attractions.

Why the owner loves Guillemot...

We were looking for a cottage on a single level, which could sleep four and have sea views.

It is still a thrill to sit and eat breakfast and enjoy the wonderful views over Crantock Bay.

There is something special about this time of day at Guillemot.

We love to take our surfboards down onto the beach, yet be only a few minutes away when we realise we have forgotten something vital like lunch!

Rain or shine, Guillemot is our ideal get away.�

About the location

CRANTOCK

Newquay 4.5 miles.

Crantock is a small Cornish village, just a short walk from the beach, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
