Porth Beach Villa

Porth Beach Villa is an amazing property located perfectly near Porth Beach and easily accessible to Lustly Glaze, Tolcarne and Western Beach within walking distance.

Great amenities around and lovely Beaches to explore. Porth Beach Villa does need a little maintenence as the cupboards where hard to access as the push buttons where broke as previous reviews also mention and property needs a thorough clean due to pet hairs all over living room rug, sofa and cushions. Also dryer option on washer dryer wasnt working due to fire risk which wasnt ideal as a family of 8. There also wasnt any salt or pepper in the mills which we didnt cater for. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back if these issues where resolved.

The house is generally fantastic, high end furniture, accessories and location.

The views are spectacular and definitely has the wow factor. The property would do well to have a weeks worth of maintenance, for example the mental table on the balcony is so rushed I didn’t want to go near with bare feet. There’s a blind in the lounge that needs fixing, there were drawers that have stains in, or in one of the bathrooms needed cleaning, (we wiped this) pictures lob sided inside the frame, the barbecue didn’t look particularly inviting. All of that said, it’s still a wonderful house, we absolutely loved it, loved the location, how quite and private it was, but in walking distance of the “centre” of Porth, the beach etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay.

The villa was beautiful and clean. Everything had been considered even down to the speaker system in the ceiling! Beautiful view from the window which enabled us to get some amazing sunsets.

Whilst accommodation had the wow factor contractually a number of inaccuracies existed between the homes literature pack and what we experienced.

Literature suggested please clean bbq after use. This bbq hadn’t been used for years was rusty and leg supports were broken so if used would have caused poisoning. Clothes airer was broken at securing points and we were unable to use. We had to undertake our own gardening regime as spiked plants overhung into garden a disaster waiting to happen with young children in our party. Suggestions were we might be disturbed by gardener but weeds and overhanging plants suggested garden had not been attended for an excessive period. The touch buttons on the kitchen doors were broken causing access difficulty to draws and and their contents. No spare bags were left for the bin as suggested and no tin opener was provided. Finally the literature from the managing agent showed that the property was last inspected 10 days prior to our arrival when some of the issues above no doubt would have been identified and resolved. We have photos of all the above deficiencies should you need confirmation of this commentary. Whilst this didn’t stop our enjoyment of this holiday the above are not what we would have expected from a property that has a charge out rate of in excess of £3000 per week. I’ll leave you to research these comments and wait your response with interest.

We’ve had a wonderful week away with our family and two dogs at the Porth Beach Villa.

This was our first stay at the property, it’s a beautiful home, and it did not disappoint. It felt home from home & had everything we needed, it’s a great comfortable space in a perfect location. The sea views & views of Porth Island from the living dining area & front bedroom on the second floor were stunning. The enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs too. The property itself is in a great position for a stroll on the beach, easy access to all major road routes, costal walks and places to visit. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to our family & friends.

Toilet broke, door wouldn’t open Skyes impossible to get hold of phone kept cutting me off or putting me back in queue and WhatsApp with Skye’s completely ignored after 4 attempts, absolutely appalling for a £3k week away

This is our second stay at Porth Beach Villa and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

It is a fabulous property, modern and spacious with all the necessary equipment for a comfortable family holiday and in a fantastic position for both the beach and for travelling to any other region of Cornwall. I would highly recommend this holiday home. However, I must point out that on arrival it was necessary to vacuum a couple of the rooms and that several crockery items were chipped. These were only minor faults which didn't spoil our holiday.

Toilet seat in upstairs bathroom was broken so we were unable to use that toilet which meant granddaughter had to go into bedroom during the night to use the loo.

It also had not been cleaned & had poo marks in pan. I reported these issues immediately, offered to come & clean but by then I had cleaned that top floor myself. Including using lint roller on bed to remove pet hairs. The blind in downstairs bedroom wouldn’t roll back up, this I didn’t report at time as dissatisfied with lack of response re bathroom. Having read previous reviews about lack of wine classes this hasn’t been rectified either. On the whole location wise & house was lovely but more priority needs to be given to cleanliness and action taken re customer satisfaction.

Exactly what we needed and beachfront location and views were stunning.

One slight niggle was only 3 wine glasses for potentially 8 guests.

Also, as septuagenarian technophobe I do wish the TV's were simpler Having moaned, I must say the accommodation was superb, clean and spacious. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks.

Great property with an excellent location minutes from Porth beach.

Property was beautiful with plenty of space for all of us and the dogs - clean, spacious and comfortable furnishings. Would definitely recommend for a holiday spot close to some of Newquay’s most beautiful beaches.

Fantastic accommodation, exactly what we wanted.

Everything we needed was provided. Stunning views, especially the sunsets overlooking the sea from the balconies. The property, outside space and location was ideal for our family which consisted of 5 adults, 1 toddler and a dog. It was perfect in every way. The only slight issue with the property was opening the front door from the outside which was a bit difficult although this could just be user error! Would definitely recommend and would return without hesitation. Thank you.

Well positioned property with great views and located close enough to facilities and amenities of Newquay.

A great place to use as a base for exploring. The villa was lovely, very clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Have no reservation over recommending this property.

An excellent propert.

Extreamly comfortable and well maintained with tasteful decorations. Parking can be a problem if you have more than 2 cars we were lucky in that a few properties wete empty and so we had ample of room. The house has stunning views over Porth Beach and just 5 minutes walk to the beach, albeit a bit steep for toddlers.

Porth Beach Villa is a beautiful holiday home overlooking the sea, extremely comfortable, furnished to a very high standard and in a brilliant position for access to the beach and for exploring Cornwall.

I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to others. I didn't give full marks for maintenance simply because there were three minor issues that didn't concern me too much. Firstly, on arrival, we found it difficult to open the front door, but once we had realised the door had to be pushed in order for the key to fit properly, it was okay. Secondly, a blind in one of the bedrooms was broken. Thirdly, there was an occasional leak from the boiler under the kitchen sink. However, these were minor points that can easily be sorted.

Perfect but pricey.

Arrived at 2am & struggled to find house (could see it but couldn’t get to it) but postcode takes you to a different road.

Once inside, overall house lovely but bedroom with two single beds was not clean. Even found shorts from previous tenant in bed closest to the door! Really disappointed

The nicest house I’ve ever rented.

Even lovelier than the photos show. Elegant, comfortable and generous - we were delighted with it. The top master bedroom has a view of Porth beach. There are 4 bathrooms all of which are modern, stylish, immaculate and beautifully clean. Holiday let furniture can be cheap and nasty but nothing was like that here, art on the walls, pristine modern kitchen and just loads and loads of room. Games for the kids, tvs in the rooms, my kids were in heaven. Would definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful house - not only are there fabulous views over Porth, but you can even hear the sea as you go to sleep!

Everything was immaculate and the house was very well equipped too. Five minutes walk to the lovely beach at Porth and we liked the friendly Mermaid Inn also. I’m sure we will be back - one of the best places we’ve stayed in Cornwall. Beautiful
