Perfect for a traditional beach holiday. We had everything we needed and no problems

We’ve had the most incredible week at sea shore.

Porth is our favourite place and to be a few feet from the beach was perfect! We loved the view from the room and all the little touches including the hamper on arrival. The showers are fantastic too. We hope to return!

This was our 3rd stay at Seashore House.

It's location is just brilliant, the apartment is very clean and well looked after. The only thing that could make it better is a Nespresso machine, other than that the apartment is wonderful!

Spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Special mention for the swivel chair in the bay window overlooking the beach. Sat there watching the world go by - heaven.

This was our second stay at Seashore House this year.

We found the apartment clean and equipped with all that we needed. Excellent shower! Great view over Porth beach. Alrhough the weather was a complete contrast to our stay in June we enjoyed our time there. One drawback was that there was no phone signal although the Internet was okay. When I tried to prebook a restaurant by card I was unable to receive my bank security password by phone. The local Pub needs an face-lift.

We are no strangers to house/apartment rental over the last 30 years. The location and panoramic views of the beach the cliffs and headland are second to none. If you want a holiday that provides comfort, relaxation and stress relief, this is surely the one. This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment, it is well maintained, clean and has a lovely homely feel and has lots of nice touches like the children’s books and toys.

The views of the beach are amazing and it is in such a great location for exploring the local area. I think the only thing missing from the apartment is a coffee machine

We loved our stay at seashore house and the attention to detail.

Its location next to the beach is amazing. The flat is tiny but enough room for our little family for a short while. The only thing is the second bedroom is made super squashed by two single beds it would be better with one. We liked it so much we would return.

Seashore House is located about 100 metres from the beach.

It has just been refurbished and the kitchen was like new. It had a washer dryer, dishwasher and microwave as well as the usual appliances. The large bedroom has unsuite and shower has a spray nozzle system plus rain shower and ordinary shower head. The carpets were also new. The second bedroom has two single beds and is near the bathroom wich has a shower over the bath. We had a really good time and would recommend it.

We have stayed here previously. Perfect location. Fabulous sea views. Many an hour spent on the wonderful window chair. Spotlessly clean. A real home from home. Everything you could need is provided. Love the new decor and flooring. Comfortable to spend time in if the weather is not good. Good and safe parking. Quiet. We will definitely be back.

Been to seashore house a few times & it still takes our breath away everytime we walk in

We had a lovely week, we loved the apartment.

The only one tiny thing we would change was more pillows needed on the beds.

Great apartment with the most amazing views of the beach, wonderful for watching the swimmers & dog walkers each morning.

Very clean & comfortable and a lovely base for a holiday exploring North Cornwall. Would recommend , a real find!

Excellent apartment in a stunning location right by the beach.

No need for TV just watch the tide ebb and flow. You are literally on the beach. All your needs met in the apartment. Very comfortable and clean. A must to go back to. Well positioned for walking into Newquay and touring other places.

Property was very nice with an outstanding view of Porth beach.

The swivel chair in the window was very comfortable. The apartment included everything we needed.

This is our third stay at seashore cottage.

We just love the position of the house on the beach and taking in the view from the window. Immaculately clean. Everything you need supplied for your stay. Only thing I think is missing is a WiFi extender in the main bedroom. The coverage didn't really reach to there from the front of the house. We purchased one and used when we were there, but would be nice to see one supplied in the house.

Fabulous 1st floor apartment. Car parking on site. Love the new flooring and updated kitchen. It's a real home from home. The weather doesn't matter, as you've always got the sea view to enjoy from the great swivel love seat. Perfect position for coastal walking. Always spotlessly clean. We'll be back.

The property is well located for walking the coastal paths and beaches. Internally, Seashore had everything we needed to ensure that we had a relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property in stunning location.

Couple of little things, windows rattle very bad.Also no instructions for using electrical equipment ie TV. We've been a few times and will definitely return.

We found the apartment to be clean and well equipped.

We loved everything about it. The view from the bay window is perfect, looking out over the beach and the bay. We loved our stay here.

Had a fantastic week staying at Seashore house, the swivel chair with the sea view was amazing!

The property had everything we needed and more. The parking space for this property could be an issue if you had a large vehicle as it’s the centre one against a wall but we managed ok (needed good parallel parking!) Everything was really clean and as seen in the pictures. As it’s an apartment, it can get noisy depending on who’s staying in the other apartments but again we were up early most days so didn’t bother us. The welcome basket was nice but not done to suit who’s staying… we were 3 adults but got 2 sml bottles of wine & 2 juice cartons? I would still highly recommend staying here and would definitely book to stay here again.

You have thought of EVERYTHING (including bucket and spade!) The bay window with cuddle chair was fought over as offers such beautiful views. Stunning location and worth the 6 hour drive from Peterborough. Lovely comfortable beds abd sofas, just excellent accommodation. En suite jet shower was a lovely surprise too. Huge bath and heated floor was a luxury. Will definitely be booking again and highly recommend this stunning apartment. Thank you! Brenda, Denise and Tracy xx

The property was,excellent,swivel chair was a great hit.

My only comment is,in the en-suite bathroom ,there could be a ,bar to hold on to,in shower,this is comeing from a,older person,also a description of how the shower works,but loved the big shower head.We all enjoyed our stay,your property is lovely.thank you.

We chose the Seashore House at Porth near Newquay on the pictures and description of the property.

We were not disappointed and loved the first floor apartment as soon as we walked in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had a lovely view of the Porth beach through the bay windows. Sky with movies was available to watch in the evening or you could use the Blu-Ray player to watch a film if you prefer. Newquay was not far away for evenings out. Porth also gave us a central point for visiting various places up and down the West Coast of Cornwall with the east coast within a short driving distance. We will be back again.

A beautiful apartment with stunning views.

The decor was really thought about with the beach/sea theme. We will definitely be booking again.

Our second visit and the location is incredible.

Not only being right on the beach but the proximity to Newquay and beyond is excellent. You feel out of it yet within easy reach of amenities. We will most certainly be back. One recommendation would be heavier doorstops for the internal doors, the current ones are too light and cause doors to shut which can slam and cause noise to the apartment below which we were very conscious of.

A very comfortable apartment situated in an excellent position overlooking Porth beach.

The swivel chair in the bay window was well used by both of us, watching the ever changing picture of activities on the beach. The apartment was clean and well layout and the “goodies” on arrival were very welcome, particularly the milk so we could enjoy a cuppa. Parking is easy and convenient outside the house. We visited The Mermaid Inn for lunch which had a good range of food. The Gwenna’s tearoom near the beach is definitely worth a visit. Excellent breakfasts and afternoon tea and great hospitality by the owners. I would certainly recommend the Seashore House.

Absolutely perfect place to stay!

! The apartment was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The location was spot on, beautiful views and access straight to beach was brilliant for the children. The swivel chair in the window made it very special to watch the world go by. We have rebooked and look forward to another great holiday next year.

What a restful place to stay!

Wonderful location, gorgeous flat - comfortable, brilliantly equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. We have loved our stay and for the first time in a long time weren't ready to return home. Thank you for a great holiday let.

Excellent location Very well appointed flat can simply relax with music in the background and watching the waves Kitchen has all amenities for some home cooking Bathrooms are neat and tidy with good shower.

Beautiful apartment in stunning location overlooking beach.

A thoughtful provision of essentials was evident when we arrived and the person responsible for cleaning was contactable to sort minor issues. Sykes and the owners sorted a problem with parking the same evening as our arrival. The position of the apartment is convenint for walks, swimming, surfing, having coffee/icecream or a drink in the local pub . The beach is just great for families and when the tide is out it is possible to walk right across to Newquay harbour or to Watergate Bay.

The apartment had a fabulous view of the beach, and the property itself was warm & cosy with everything we needed.

Great Location, fantastic facilities & warm welcome.

Family stay with Porth beach on the doorstep & Newquay a short walk away. The sun shone & we had an amazing time.

It was the little extras you got.

On arrival we came across a welcome basket that had 2 small bottles of wine, tea, coffee, biscuits. The views were amazing! Beds comfortable. Un suite shower was lovely. Everything was done very well.

Apartment was excellent we had a lovely relaxing week.

Spotlessly clean with some beautiful furnishings. The views from the window are amazing, that swivel chair was a dream to just sit and watch the world go by. Walking down to the waters edge at Sunset is a must. The coastal walk to Watergate Bay is a bit of a trek but well worth it. Porth Island is so picturesque to walk around. Newquay is also in walking distance. Lovely cafe next to apartment to sit have breakfast / coffee and watch the sea. Hole in the wall kiosk on the beach is a bonus too. By far our favourite thing was just 2 mins down the steps to beach each day. Lots of space never felt overcrowded. Highly recommend this lovely apartment. We actually met the owners who are lovely. Angie the housekeeper is a phone call away with any problems. Will definitely return again just for the view alone.

Lovely apartment, with great views of the beach.

We loved the swivel chair in the window. The whole place was well equipped with clean and modern appliances. We were cold the first night as the beds only had summer weight duvets but the heating is adjustable and we were soon warm & comfy. The parking spot was a bit tight as it's the middle one (nose to tail with other apartments whose guests had much longer cars than ours). The Sky TV was nice but a lack of curtains at the front made it difficult to see the screen due to reflection. There's nothing at Porth except the beach but you can walk the coastal path, and Newquay is less than 30 minutes walk. We highly recommend this place.

What an amazing apartment.

The view from the window seat was fantastic and I was quite literally glued to it people watching and admiring the view. 100% recommended.

Great property in a lovely beachside location, so much so we’ve booked to return in May.

The only complaint was that we heard nothing from Sykes to clarify our status as lockdown started half was through our week away.

Had a wonderful week at seashore.

The accomodation was excellent and the position right on porth beach was perfect. We were able to walk into newquay as far as the fistral beach and across to porth island. The swivel chair in the window was an added bonus to watch the beach and island. A bus stop nearby can be caught to newquay and padstow. The local cafe next to the accomodation serves excellent food and a pub nearby too. Was very surprised at how big the accomodation was. Overall would recommend .

The only thing that we thought was there was maybe too much big pieces of furniture in the room so made it a bit tight moving around!

But that is a personal choice of the owner and did not mean we didn't enjoy our stay. Many thanks

The apartment at Seashore House was fantastic and one of the best we have ever stayed in.

There was everything you needed and lovely decor in a seaside theme. Well appointed kitchen and very comfy beds. The views over Porth beach were stunning. The coast path is next to the house and you can easily walk in to Newquay or across to Porth Island. We would live to go back there sometime.

The view from the chair was amazing and we said "wow" to when we first walked in. On the pictures we thought the kitchen was going to be small but it was bigger then we thought. Only a short distance from the beach and a pub with nice food on the same beach! We would definitely be back again!

Seashore House is in the perfect location, literally steps away from the beach.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, with everything you could possibly need. There are many lovely coastal walks nearby, with clean beaches and clear blue waters. Our 4th time booking with Sykes, and once again thrilled to find such a perfect property.

This was our first time using Sykes cottages and the experience has been superb. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is in a great location.

The “turning round chair” was a highlight for our three and six year old as well as for us. The view is beautiful and it was a joy to be so close to the beach.

The flat was brilliant, nicely furnished with quality all round in every room.

Views are exceptional , beach just outside door. Good for walks and location good for touring round Cornwall. Actually stayed at that house / flat some 35 years ago with our 3 boys. Flat has changed as you would expect but changed to a high standard. Would we stay there again. YES WE WiLL !

Amazing apartment.

Spectacular views! Very comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Ideally situated to visit lots of wonderful places in Cornwall including amazing walks and beaches outside the front door. As a family with a 7 and 9 year old it was brilliant!!!!!
