    The location and the fabulous views were the main asset. The property was not clean, generally shabby overall and needed much updating. However, the sheets and towels for our use were very good quality. The downstairs shower tray did not clear easily and had to be turned off several times during a shower - we checked - no blockage buy us so clearly further down the pipework somewhere. There were weeds growing and small slugs coming in through gap in the kitchen door. The rubbish bin to the ...

There were weeds growing and small slugs coming in through gap in the kitchen door. The rubbish bin to the property was completely full on our arrival - I had to contact the refuse services myself for the property who were very helpful and came out the same day. Apparently no-one had requested a rubbish collection after the previous guests. This is not the standard I would have expected from Sykes after booking numerous times before - I wonder if any Sykes representatives have visited the property recently?

We have spoken to our waste collection service and housekeeping to ensure this doesn't happen again. We can reassure you that the property is regularly inspected as the safety of our guests is our first priority. We have followed up on the plumbing issues and appreciate you bringing them to our attention.
