Climb the spiral staircase to the first floor, here there are two comfortable armchairs in which to relax and a TV.
When sleep calls, there is a double bed where you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves and when you wake enjoy the sea views from the comfort of your bed.
Relax with a glass of wine in hand while taking in the breath-taking views of Portmellon's Cove from the front sitting area outside, a perfect spot to escape from reality.
With the beach just a stone's throw away, this charming cottage offers a truly idyllic coastal escape.
Adding a touch of adventure to your stay, make the most of the crystal-clear waters being just steps away from the front door.
Spend your days soaking up the sun on the beach or exploring the cove before heading to the lovely local pub for a refreshing drink and delicious meal.
There is plenty to see and do, with lots of attractions in the surrounding area.
Start with a leisurely visit to the Mevagissey Inner Harbour, a vibrant and bustling pocket of the Mevagissey village, offering a lovely spot to sit back and observe the bobbing boats.
Wander along to the historic Mevagissey Harbour Wall, where locals and visitors alike cast a line to see what they might catch.
Indulge your curiosity at the Mevagissey Aquarium, teeming with an array of marine life and provides a fascinating insight into Cornwall's underwater world.

A wonderfully place little cottage overlooking the sea with all the facilities you may require on your holiday
A lovely cottage, easy to unload next to cottage and to park in village.
Great for local places to visit and not far (max 20 mins) to walk right into Mevagissey. Coastal path good and not too difficult to Gorran Haven. Host very friendly and helpful with goodies on arrival. Beach good for swimming but quite a small beach.
Location was excellent.
Property though needed a number of maintenance issues fixed. Oven was unreliable. Windows wouldn’t close and secure properly. Shower leaked onto the kitchen floor below and had been leaking for quite some time looking at the state of the kitchen ceiling where the water was exiting. Instructions were followed regarding contact from Sykes cottages but no reply gained from the messages when arriving or reporting issues. Even simple things like cleaning the external windows weren’t completed. They were filthy. It’s those little things that make the difference, which detracted from the superb view from the location. We were aware there was no door on the bathroom but you can get a solution to fix that and the bathroom was tiny. The car parking is a bit of a nightmare too. If you don’t book a full week on the app if you are staying for a shorter period. You can only book 24hr slots and have to renew every day. This is not normally a problem with parking apps as they remind you and you can extend remotely. However, the sissi parking app here is a terrible design. No reminders. If you renew your 24hr parking early you loose what time you had left and the parking runs from the renewal time not the previous expiry which means you loose time you have paid for. Most importantly. If there is no phone signal, which is common here, you can’t do anything. We ended up running over 1hr because of the signal issue so have no doubt there will be a fine in the post. The entire app is geared to catch out motorists. All in all it detracted from a stunning location. The cottage was clean but mediocre at best yet charging as much as better equipped locations in the area. 3 nights was long enough for us there. We will be back. Just to a different location.
