“Well equipped and nice view from windows.”

Very quiet, so sleeping on comfy bed was lovely. A good base for local areas. Met the owner who was very pleasant. We had a lovely time and can highly recommend The Loft for other couples who want to explore this area of Cornwall.

The Loft is a charming two-bedroom apartment located in the seaside hamlet of Portmellon, on the edges of Mevagissey.

Boasting a contemporary-style interior with exceptional views of the beach from the dining table, enjoy a well-earned holiday in Cornwall.

Bring your other half or young family to share a memorable trip exploring the sights and allowing yourselves to relax amidst a coastal atmosphere.

Access this beautiful abode via the external staircase, where you will be welcomed by a light colour scheme with a subtle seaside theme.

Unwind in the open-plan living room, with a modern kitchen design, ideal for some home-cooking while you're away.

Crowd around the dining table and enjoy a delicious meal as you drink in the views from the window out across the golden sands and glimmering waters of Portmellon Beach.

Head out to make the most of the weather on a warm summer's day, then return to two well-presented bedrooms; a double with stools in the window so you can admire the views some more, as well as a bunk room.

A door adjoins the bunk and double room, which is ideal for those travelling with little ones.

The gleaming family bathroom is also on hand to assist each morning and evening.

To the exterior is a patio area with furniture, so you don't have to just enjoy the views, you can soak up the ambience too.

If you fancy a drink, head next door to the Rising Sun Inn, or head into Mevagissey for the evening.

There are pubs, restaurants, the Model Railway and museum, while just down the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

You will also benefit from a day at the Eden Project with its Rainforest Biome, outdoor gardens and soft play areas for kids.

Take a 35-minute ferry ride to Fowey and appreciate the stunning south coast, while keeping a look out for dolphins and basking sharks.

You won't be disappointed at a stay at The Loft.
