    “We absolutely love The Old Post Office, it is warm, damp free ( unusual for a historic Cornish property) and it has all the equipment you need for a very comfortable stay.”

    Andrew and Paul are very friendly but not intrusive, and advise their guests, if there is a village activity they may like to attend. This trip was the Praze Christmas light “switch on”. The dogs love the walks available on the door step. There is a cricket ground for a quick run round or for a longer adventure there is the Clowance Estate.

The welcoming entrance hallway leads into a generous sitting and dining room, where a granite hearth with a wood burner, exposed beams and cosy sofas create a warm, social haven for relaxing after days spent discovering Cornwall’s coastline.

The dining area invites guests to gather for long meals and lively conversation, while the modern, fully equipped kitchen with a range oven and ample workspace, makes holiday cooking a pleasure. The world famous St Michael’s Mount at Marazion is just 13 miles from the door, offering an unforgettable day trip.

From surfing, water sports and rock pooling to scenic South West Coast Path walks, the surrounding area is rich with outdoor adventures.

Tucked away in the countryside between Camborne and Helston, the friendly little village of Praze an Beeble has a real sense of community. With a traditional Cornish pub, a Post Office, village shop, bakery and a fish & chip shop it has everything you could need. The village green is the hub of the community, and many family friendly events take place here each year. Just outside the village, the Clowance Estate country club with holiday lodges offers a 9-hole golf course, other leisure activities and pleasant lakeside and woodland walks – and the sandy beaches of Portreath, Gwithian and Hayle are just a short drive away. Easily accessible from Praze an Beeble is the old market town of Helston with its boating lake and annual Flora Day – and from Helston, the much-loved harbour town of Porthleven is just a 5-minute drive.
