Our second visit to this beautiful cottage & made to feel very welcome with thoughtful welcome basket of wine, biscuits & milk.

Thank you Mark & Suzanne. As a warm, cosy, restful place & as a well-positioned location for exploring, it’s just perfect. We especially appreciate the Superking beds - a rarity in the holiday rental world - but a necessity for taller customers! We were sad not to have tried the hot tub (we were too lazy! :D ) but really appreciated the new addition of the air fryer! Overall the cottage was beautifully clean. Thank you for cutting the grass during our stay too - everything was so well cared for. The thought to detail is wonderful - solar lights lining the front path, washing up liquid, tea towels, cleaning items, clingfilm, a kitchen roll …. just wonderful. We will certainly be back for more coziness & relaxation. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ❤️

A lovely well equipped comfortable cottage no expense has been spared to make it a pleasure to stay in.

The only downside being the busy road which made it impossible to walk directly from the house. But that was a small price to pay.

This cottage had everything we could have needed for a fabulous stay.

Very local to lovely beaches and eateries!! (Thorougly reccomend Helens Fish and chips down the road!) The only thing that we were not fully aware of is amount of traffic running along the road outside of the house, which is one of the main routes into Cambourne...this went on through the night and whilst not fully overlooked by houses, passing drivers were able to see whoever was in the hot tub! Additionally, whilst dog friendly, there were many rules for our fur family, which we fully respect, but should be made clear in the listing, as it was not an entirely dog friendly house. Would definately go back as guests, but not with the doggos!!

Wood Brook Cottage is lovely holiday venue.

We have stayed in quite a few dog friendly places over many years and have never stayed in a nicer place. All the appliances, equipment fixtures & fittings are of premium quality. It is the first time we have had sufficient crockery, glasses & cutlery that we could fill the dishwasher and still have plenty to use. Beds and furniture are comfortable & clean, also gardens are well looked after. Only a couple of minor negatives, the steps down from the road are very step and not suitable for people with mobility limitations and the adjacent road gives some traffic noise especially at peak times. The wood fired hot tub was not for us. It is too much faff to use taking up to 5 hours to prepare. We much prefer Spa bathes with electric heating and spa jets. That said, this is a wonderful holiday cottage and we had a great time, so did our Parsons Jack Russell Terrier. Also, We thoroughly recommend the St Michael's Mount Inn. Just a few miles away, a great local pub with excellent food.

We absolutely loved our stay in Wood Brook Cottage!

The owners have put so much thought and care into making the cottage as comfortable as possible for guests. Our family of 5 fitted perfectly, and we enjoyed a games night each evening with the huge pile of games left there for guests to use…the quiz games were a big hit!! The kitchen was brilliantly equipped with everything that could be needed and we really appreciated the welcome pack. We found the local village very handy - there is a Post Office in the local shop and an excellent fish and chip shop which we used the day we arrived. Further afield, Camborne town isn’t far and has lots of useful shops for more everyday things. Beaches all within a half an hour or so drive from the cottage. All in all, a brilliant holiday in a lovely cottage!

It is so well equipped and the decoration is lovely. It is a great base for visiting that part of Cornwall

We loved the property and will book again.

The recliner chairs were very nice, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the overall feel was homely. The garden is well maintained with a fantastic view of farm animals. We appreciate the welcome pack on arrival. Look forward to coming back.

Spacious enough for all of us, comfortable beds and the bath was a delight! The biscuits and Prosecco were very much appreciated too!

A beautiful cottage, extremely well equipped - even down to a clean dog towel / shampoo provided, along with hairdryers & lots of homely touches which made our stay extra-special.

We loved the Alexa-controlled heating, beautifully maintained gardens & amazingly comfy beds. The gorgeous brook in the garden & swing seat were also memorable. We were a little surprised to note how busy & fast the road was at the side of the house (we had thought it was a quiet country lane), but on reflection, this was not an issue at all when inside the cottage due to the superb double glazing & general coziness / sturdiness of the property. The garden was also very safe - excellently maintained fences & gates - so our Cockapoo had a wonderful time too. Great location for day trips to landmarks & beaches. The owners were amazingly responsive & kind when we messaged to enquire about early access to place balloons for my Mum’s 80th birthday & we thoroughly appreciated the ‘welcome’ items left in the fridge! We are extremely grateful for their help & this really was a holiday to remember. We hope to return very soon. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage – it was absolutely charming and very comfortable.

There was plenty of space for parking, which made things so much easier. The location is brilliant – really convenient for heading out in any direction, whether you're off to explore nearby beaches, visit local towns, or just enjoy the countryside. A perfect base for discovering the area!

We had a brilliant holiday .

The cottage was a pure delight, a little home from home.. Good location for days out ...nice and quite...the garden and stream a delight..The only tiny problem we had were the steps down from the gate , not that easy for an older person who has a problem walking ..will definitely stay there again though.

The cooking facilities, utensils etc in the kitchen were fantastic and a lot better stocked than in previous holiday rentals we have stayed in. The kids loved all the games that were provided. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely Cottage,clean,high quality furnishings throughout,the outside shower a great idea,used once for our little pooch,comfortably fit four adults and two dogs in.

The welcome pack and fire wood was a much appreciated thought.Easy to get to other villages,had a lovely week and weather was kind as well. Would definitely recommend and hopefully be back soon .Thank you . On another note front gate not shutting properly but it was no bother to us as back yard is secure . Kate and family

We had a lovely stay at your property, where everything is catered for , to the finest detail.

Good central location to access many interesting places and beaches. To enable dogs to stay in kitchen we brought our free standing board, this is the only thing we felt was missing. Appreciated the well enclosed garden and lighting. Good supply of books and games for rainy days. Most of all owners were there for us when we lost a key!

What a beautiful, cosy and comfortable cottage.

Had absolutely everything thought about including prosecco! Which is a lovely treat after travelling 4 houes. The cottage was very clean and extremely well maintained. In a great location too for exploring beaches. Our daughters loved waking up and spotting the sheep out the window. We had a lovely time.

We all travelled up from Yorkshire and when we arrived we where so pleased to arrive at Wood Brook Cottage it was such a beautiful place so comfortable and done with such care and attention to every detail everything you could ask for in a holiday cottage.

This is a lovely cottage, well maintained and fitted with everything you could need ( including a bottle of Presecco!

). The only downside is that it is located next to a road but it is not busy and quiet at night. This should have been mentioned in the particulars

What a beautiful base for our week in Cornwall!

The cottage is of such a high standard and has absolutely everything we needed...with some lovely extra thoughts too. Wifi was great as there's not much phone signal, selection of games, smart TV and a very well equipped kitchen. Thanks to the weather, we got to enjoy the garden too with a few visits from the sheep. The adjacent road can be quite loud at times with tractors and buses, but you get used to it and it definitely wouldn't put us off staying again. Perfect base for exploring our favourite part of the world. Thank you for a wonderful week...we will be returning! And a mention and thank you to your housekeeping team...we have never stayed in such a clean holiday let. They are a real credit

We had a lovely few nights away at Wood Brook Cottage.

It is a gorgeous cottage with everything you might need for a self-catering break. It's cosy but spacious & beautifully decorated. It was nice to have a garden & parking which is a real bonus in Cornwall! It was a good location for us & we could head to either coast relatively quickly. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you want explore this lovely corner of Cornwall.

Beautiful cottage maintained to the highest standard. You literally thought of everything. Only one small thing that we could have used and that was an indoor clothes airer! We loved your cottage and the area is perfect to visit all the nearby attractions. We hope to revisit sometime and family members have already asked for the details after seeing our photos

What a beautiful place to stay!

It feels like we found a real gem. An idyllic location with a stream in the back garden, cosy yet modern interiors with adorable homely touches (the toilet roll holders were a fantastic touch!). We like our holidays to be full of day trips and long walks along the coast and in the countryside, and this property really did feel like a home from home to come back to. The outside shower and washing line was a brilliant idea! The bedrooms were luxurious and the bathroom was spa-like. Really, it was tough to pack up and go home. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

You could not have wished for more staying at this beautiful cottage, everything had been supplied and there was even wine, cornish shortbread waiting for us.

It was very well decorated with comfortable reclining sofas, log burner and even Alexa to tell us Easter jokes. We would definitely look to book again
