Cuckoo's Rest

The place was lovely and very well equipped.

The host was friendly and they had a gorgeous friendly cat and they very kindly left a jug of milk in the fridge on our arrival. I know it’s a personal preference but I felt the bed was very hard. I also felt the place needed a bit more attention to detail when it came to cleaning it. When we arrived, the bathroom bin had not been emptied. The bathroom sink was also not that clean and the fridge needs a wipe over. I would also like to add that both the dishwasher salt and rinse aid need a top up in the dishwasher. The shower squeegee also needs to be replaced as it’s black with mould.

Mark made us very welcome on arrival, showed us round our accommodation which proved to be ideal.

As a base for exploring the west of Kernow it’s ideally placed, as a one time local I knew it would be. The facility is modern, up to date in every way. A few minutes from Falmouth, it’s all here! Highly recommend this for a couple looking for a quality break…

Cuckoos Rest was so lovely.

A quiet and very clean and comfortable dwelling. We would definitely go back there again. The owners were very welcoming and to hand if needed.

Absolutely fantastic stay.

My wife and I were very comfortable. The owner met us on arrival and have us a tour of the facilities and a quick overview of the area. He was always friendly when we saw him and gave us some good pointers in the area. We looked for the owners to say thanks and goodbye but didn't want to disturb their Saturday morning as we left early. Thanks again.

Lovely comfortable accomodation.

Good location, lovely owners. Bit hard to find needs a sign at the bottom of drive and the other person in the other accomodation found it hard to find.

Quiet, relaxing place to stay.

... beautifully decorated, great attention to detail and friendly welcoming hosts. Great peaceful location, with easy access to many attractions (subject to Cornish traffic...lol). If/ when we return to Cornwall this will be our first choice... perfect firba couple.. young or old.

The flat was in general very nice and welcoming.

The only real issue we had was the provision of a winter weight duvet (13.5 TOG) which was far too hot for the summer temperatures. A lighter weight duvet would have been appreciated.
