The property

This beautiful holiday home, Redwood Lodge, is located on Retallack Resort & Spa in the picturesque village of Winnard's Perch in Cornwall.

This detached, privately owned property is suitable for a family of eight, with a bubbling hot tub to spend your evenings in and a balcony to take in the rural views.

Place your car in an off-road parking spot before entering the open-plan living area, where you can prepare delectable dishes using the electric oven and gas stove.

When the meals are ready, gather around the dining table to toast to your vacation, or have an alfresco event on the outdoor furniture if the weather is nice.

Climb to the first floor for the nicely arranged living area; relax on the soft sofa in front of the TV or take in the views from the balcony while sipping a bottle of wine.

Relax your muscles in the hot tub after a day of seeing Cornwall's charms, then rinse off in the shower room and slip into your pyjamas.

When it's time to sleep, select from a roomy double or three zip/link twins (superkings), all with storage and reading lamps.

Start your day with a cup of tea on the balcony in your robe, and if you need a break from cooking, head over to The Lookout Restaurant & Lounge.

There are a variety of resort facilities available for an additional fee and with advance booking, including an outdoor children's adventure play area, a seasonal aqua park, seasonal cable wakeboarding, and stand-up paddle boarding, all of which are ideal for the kids!

For guests looking to relax, the resort also has a fishing lake, an indoor swimming pool, Esya Spa services, a sauna, and a steam room.

The resort's Flowrider actual surf simulator, gym, and tennis courts will certainly appeal to the energetic members of the group as well.

Get in the car and head to Newquay, a seaside town with magnificent beaches, the Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay, and the Newquay Zoo, where you can observe well-loved animals.

Wadebridge, which sits along the Camel River estuary, is also easily accessible; here, you can treat your loved ones to a meal or head to Padstow for wine sampling at Trevibban Mill Vineyard.

Look no further than Redwood Lodge for a unique getaway.
