    “A lovely week away with all the family.”

    The house is a perfect location to explore Cornwall. The village has a well stocked shop and pub across the road there’s also a social club with pool table. The house its self is perfect. comfy beds a large living room with cosy fire in the colder evening. The kitchen has everything you need we cooked most nights and also had an Easter roast on the Sunday with all the family sat at the large dining table. And not forgetting the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Thanks again to Jo we will be ...

The property

Trewenna is a delightful 18th century Townhouse in the heart of Tregony, the gateway to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula.

Centrally located in Cornwall, this family-friendly holiday home has everything you need, whether you want to stay in and enjoy this home-from-home or venture out and explore the many beautiful local beaches, coastal locations and historic towns in this stunning area.

With exposed stone walls, beams, solid oak flooring, and deep set windows, the cottage has plenty of original features but with contemporary rich colourful themes and complimenting floral designs.

Newly renovated this year to a high standard, you can experience all the newly installed modern conveniences, bathrooms, WiFi and heating for a super-comfortable holiday, dual-fuelled towel rails ensure warm towels all year round.

The ground floor is very spacious and features a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space for a big food shop, Waitrose in Truro is only a 15 minute drive away!

All the major supermarkets can deliver to your door here.

Allow your chef to demonstrate their abilities before heading to the dining room, which is furnished with a colourful array of dining chairs and unique display of nautical antiques.

A warm and welcoming sitting room has a 55 inch Smart TV, a DVD player, hifi and vinyl record player, a large woodburning stove is the centre piece to curl up in front of.

Allow the kids to express themselves; the ground-floor snug has a plethora of creative entertainment options, including puppets, so the kids and any budding actors in the family can steal the show, alternatively, the 40 inch TV also offers the option for gamers to enjoy the available Wii games or login to whichever channel they choose.

On the ground floor there is also a utility room with external door (an ideal place to feed your dog), and wet room with a walk in shower.

When it is time to rest, three bedrooms are located upstairs; the king-size bedroom and a double bedroom to the front of the house both have their own en-suite shower rooms.

The twin bedroom at the rear of the property has a truckle bed for a flexible third bed sleeping option in this room.

Outside, take advantage of the South-West facing enclosed garden, sheltered and a real sun-trap.

There is an outdoor kitchen area with barbecue and pizza oven, as well as a large table for dining al fresco.

A soft furnishings area and a small lawn area with external lighting provide the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evenings outside.

If you don't feel like cooking, head over to The Kings Arms pub directly across the street; you'll also be just a few steps from the well stocked village convenience store, art gallery, and church, as well as having easy access to the Roseland Peninsula.

For a day at the beach, Pendower and Carne are both National Trust beaches just a 10 minute drive away, and there's a great cafe there too.

Porthscatho, The Hidden Hut, Mevagissey, Gorran Haven, St Mawes, Falmouth are all close-at-hand places to visit.

Truro noted for its stunning Cathedral and role as Cornwall's main city, has a superb range of shops, restaurants, bars and theatre; Hall for Cornwall and is within easy reach by car.

Finally, the legendary Eden Project is a great day out for people of all ages and just a few miles away from this fabulous holiday home.

Trewenna is an excellent base in a lovely central location for a family holiday in picturesque Cornwall.

Truro 9 miles; St Austell 9 miles.

At the head of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, this ancient village with its long main street of old Cornish cottages and houses is perfectly placed for exploring the region’s many attractions. The world famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, Charlestown historic maritime village and the Cathedral city of Truro with its shopping centre, cobbled streets, restaurants and theatre are all within 10 miles. Nearby are several safe, sandy beaches and the coastal path winds its way over the cliffs and down among the coves through some of the UK’s most spectacular scenery, plus there are several Michelin starred restaurants within easy reach. Even the wilder north coast with its rolling surf is just 40 minutes' by car.
