Perfect accommodation for my wife and I and our little dogs .
Very handy for breakfast in the hotel and easy drive to all the amenities in the area . One very small criticism … the bathroom has no shelf to put tooth brushes etc and that would be a great help and also a mirror would help when shaving etc . All in all despite our ages 84 and 90 it was a perfect base . Thank you .
Great location, and particularly like being able to walk our dog in the grounds first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
The cottage was clean and comfortable, but there are steps up to the door which might not suit those with limited mobility. There was insufficient cupboard space for our groceries and although there was a microwave oven there was no microwavable bowl to cook in. There was zero shelf or cupboard space in the bathroom, so nowhere to put toiletries except the floor.
We were a group of 12 and booked 4 out of the 5 cottages.
Among us all it worked very well; the accommodation and the setting was ideal. The staff was very friendly and our dinner in the hotel on the first night was excellent. One little tip though: the crockery in Horseshoe was rather limited so future guests should bring their own breakfast bowls!
