    “Superb find, Ocean View has the most stunning views, is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a beach family holiday or to watch it from the perfectly positioned balcony or garden loungers.”

    The owners kindly supply some of the local produce to begin your holiday cream tea, butter, milk, sugar, teabags, condiments crisps, Cornish beer and even thoughtful bits for the dogs which was greatly appreciated after our 9 hour drive. The beds are comfortable and clean with linen and towels provided. The single beds room for our family would have been slightly better to have bigger beds and some sort of wardrobe not the bunk beds but I can appreciate it caters for families with smaller kids ...

The house boasts a very comfy sofa, good well equipped kitchen, dining table to sit 6 people and spectacular views from most rooms. The walk to the beach is convenient, it’s steep and definitely improved our fitness during our stay. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 10am and after 6pm - though there is dog friendly beach all year round adjoined to Sennen Cove. The house boasts a barbecue, with a bench outside (garden needs a little attention). If I could suggest anything to add i it would be a tumble dryer (though I do think a washing line is provided in the out house area but I wasn’t sure where the base hole was?) and slightly more kitchen cupboard space could be allowed as some of the doors are locked leaving limited space for food for six people. We were fortunate enough to have the most fabulous weather and on two days we did have a flying ant situation in the kitchen window and the entrance doorway but not entirely sure how or where they came from possibly some of the local plant life encourages this? I have given full top stars to this house as it really is a special find and we have had the best time there. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable providing information about the local area and shops, pubs etc and we would 100% return here! Fantastic location and a beautiful house.

From Ocean Edge, guests are well placed to explore the golden sands of Whitesand Bay, take surf lessons at Sennen Surfing Centre, or follow the South West Coast Path to Land’s End, the famous landmark of First and Last Inn is in close proximity and there are two local pubs : The Old Success Inn and Sennen's Surf Lodge.

Further afield, Porthcurno offers the iconic Minack Theatre and turquoise waters, while Penzance invites exploration of the Jubilee Pool, Penlee House Gallery and the subtropical Morrab Gardens.

St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The small fishing village of Sennen Cove is situated close to Land’s End in Cornwall. The village has a lifeboat station, church, a couple of shops, a café plus two popular gastropubs. The town of St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and has several monument and prehistoric antiquities, including a Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. The town also has a town hall, a church, shops and pubs, and Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times. Porthcorno, which has the outdoor Minack Theatre is situated 5 miles away. The village of Mousehole is within a short drive where stargazy pie can be sampled. Also within reach is the town of Penzance, which boasts winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and a harbour, from where day trips to the Scilly Isles can be enjoyed.
