    “The Cubby Hole is a fantastic relaxing place.”

    Everything is easy to use with the place so well equipped, you can get settled in straight away. Beds are comfy, shower is lovely, sitting and dining area is relaxing and provision of tv apps e.g Netflix, WiFi, etc makes it home from home. Electric car charging was really easy and helpful but it would be better if there was a day/night rate for charging as there obviously could be making it cheaper for guests. The second bedroom also smells quite musty - again a quick fix but would ...

    Thank you for your review, glad you had a lovely relaxing holiday and enjoyed the facilities at the Cubbyhole .As for the car charger I do not have a day/night tariff facility,I do not actually make a profit only cover costs. As for the rear bedroom it would be ideal if guest's would during the day use the airflow vent on the velux window. Glad your thinking of staying again,do remember to book early for desired dates. Cubby Hove is a gorgeous ground-floor apartment set in the picturesque Sennen Cove in Cornwall.

Imagine taking in the sublime crashing waves from your open-plan living area as the coffee brews, before settling into the garden chairs to admire the breathtaking views.

After a day on the sun-kissed beach, with the kids and dogs running wild, be sure to settle in for a night in by the crackling woodburning stove, with the Smart TV providing entertainment.

When the day comes to an end, the two king-size beds beckon you in to rest and recharge before another serene sunrise arrives.

If you can tear yourself away from this stunning base, the Old Success Inn can charm you with a wonderful meal and a drink to wash it down with, while a shop for any essentials is also close by.

With Sennen Cove Beach right on your doorstep, you can indulge in all the seaside activities your heart desires, as the breathtaking turquoise waters splash around your feet.

A stroll to the famous Land’s End should be on the to do list, followed by a traditional fish and chips meal, topping off a splendid seaside day.

For a day out, Penzance has plenty to do, with Escape Rooms Cornwall to get the brain working overtime or the Penlee House Gallery & Museum for you take in some lovely displays.

That can all be topped off with a visit to the Morrab Gardens as well as a walk along the promenade.

Further afield, the picturesque town of St Ives is worth the trip to view the harbour, then you can call in to see the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

Also, a short diversion will lead to an exciting family adventure at Paradise Park and Jungle Barn Cornwall.

SENNEN COVE

St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
