Great views, great facilities, so clean you could eat from the floor, chic decoration, gorgeous underfloor heating, very private, first class fit and finish - lovely welcome pack which was great as we arrived at 12:30 am! best holiday rental we’ve ever had!

The property

Tucked away in Sennen, Cornwall is the remarkable Sea Scape, resting near the white sand beach of Sennen Cove.

This stone-fronted, terraced cottage is ideal for friends and family alike, sleeping up to six guests.

On arrival, you will be greeted by private parking in the entrance car port, which offers space for two cars and a traditional oak door leading inside this contemporary property.

You are encouraged to hit the waves and go surfing, as there are wetsuit hanging rails in the covered entrance.

Unstrap your sandy sandals and store them in the handy cloakroom as you step inside the home.

The ground-floor also offers an open plan living space, the social hub of the home, where you can snuggle with loved ones, admire the view and catch up on the exciting day at the beach.

Whip up a meal in the stylish kitchen/diner, where you will discover all the necessary equipment to conjure up a delicious meal for the whole family.

Retire upstairs and be amazed by the vaulted ceilings and spacious twin bedrooms, which offer great storage as well as TVs with Freeview.

For a memorable night away, find the master bedroom, boasting a thrilling view of the two coasts from the fabulous balcony.

Take your dining experience outdoors and make use of the BBQ, whilst taking in the stunning views.

If you want a break from cooking, head out to the local pub, First and Last Inn, for a warming atmosphere in a seventeenth century building.

History lovers will be eager to visit the Iron Age fort and medieval church, both just a short distance from the newly-built cottage.

Venture around Sennen and explore the shops and popular beach bar, which shows live music and other fun activities.

For even more leisurely things to do, take a drive to Penzance and visit Morrab Gardens boasting tropical plants, or take a walk through Chapel Street.

Other main attractions include the ancient stone's, a fascinating insight into Cornwall's history.

For a home-from-home experience, visit Sea Scape.

About the location

SENNEN

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
