Absolutely fabulous house, very clean, lovely comfortable rooms and outdoor spaces.

Just great for a group of friends to spend time together, running, walking, relaxing and enjoying St. Agnes and the stunning scenery. We loved it and would love to return to Lanesend.

Lovely house and perfect size for our family of eight.

Amazing kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Great location for walking into St Agnes, would love to stay again. We were visited by a badger in the night who unfortunately managed to open the food waste bin outside and make a mess but it was an experience to see if you've never seen one before. Overall very clean except there was a lot of hairs in the bedding on some of the beds, which is never pleasant to have to remove.

A very nice accommodation that has everything you might need.

We had a great time staying there. It was even better equipped than listed. It seems every room has a hairdryer, or at least there is one per bathroom. There was also a small welcome package containing espresso (an espresso machine is provided as well), scones, clotted cream, and jam.

Lanesend is an ideal place to stay in every respect, set in a quiet location in the village of St Agnes with ample off road parking.

The house has been renovated to a high standard and is warm and very comfortable, The showers and bathrooms are exceptional with plenty of hot water at all times. The kitchen is kitted out with everything a large group or family would need. We have stayed on two occasions and will be returning without a doubt.

A truly fabulous home that exudes quality, comfort and space.

Beautiful, relaxing and provided with every home comfort you could want. Underfloor heating tops off the very long check list of must have features that this home provides. The photos don't do the sense of space this home offers justice. It is impossible not to relax and feel settled within hours of arriving.

Have just spent a lovely winter break in this superb accommodation.

The owners have clearly invested significantly to present a luxury house with every conceivable requirement and we would say without hesitation, it’s the best, highest standard self catering accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. Communication with the owner was brilliant throughout - it’s clear Emma wants you to enjoy your stay and we certainly did. 100% recommend. We’ll certainly be back!

Had a great 2 weeks at Lanesend and couldn’t have wanted anything more apart from better weather for the first week.

Beautiful cottage which was spacious and comfortable and the garden was just the right size for our 4 year old granddaughter. The walks from Lanesend were amazing and would definitely stay again.

Lanesend is a beautiful place to stay.

It was spotlessly clean, very well kitted out - especially the kitchen which had everything we could possibly need during our stay. It is on a quiet road, all we could hear were the birds! The garden is also lovely, perfect for sitting out, playing garden games and having BBQs. It is also a great location from which to explore Cornwall and the South West Coastal path. Thank you Lanesend, we had the best family holiday.

Excellent stay in a fantastic property with everything you need

This is the Fifth time we’ve stayed in St Agnes but this is the 1st time in 6 years.

Loved the house for its amenities and only a short walk to the village. It’s also South West facing so gets the sun in the back garden till late in the day, Loved our stay and will definitely return

Well located for trips out to explore Cornwall. Property was very clean and Ideal for a family holiday. We were 6 Adults and a baby.

Das Haus liegt ideal, man kann den Strand und den Küstenpfad in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß erreichen. Ebenso liegen die guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und die Bushaltestelle in St. Agnes nur einen kurzen Fußweg entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel, es ist alles für einen gelungenen und entspannten Urlaub vorhanden. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die wirklich bequemen Betten.

Lovely stay at Lanesend, St Agnes is really lovely and Lanesend is very conveniently situated for the village and for walking.

A wonderful cottage ideally placed in the lovely village of St Agnes, close to the town centre and a nice walk to the beach.

The cottage has everything you could possibly need with lots of space, great facilities and off street parking. A lovely family break.

The property is clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was good having the contact beforehand to check whether we had any special requirements. Instructions provided by email an excellent idea too. Parking was a bonus and just a short walk into St Agnes and its shops, pubs and cafes. We would definitely like to stay again if available next time we visit our daughters in St Agnes and Mount Hawke

We had a lovely stay at Lanesend.

We were walking the South West Coast Path, it was close to the bus and everything worked well. It was sunny but very cold and the house was warm and comfortable.

The cottage was perfect and made for a wonderful Christmas break.

It had everything we needed to make a full Christmas dinner with so much space in the kitchen and every utensil / equipment you could possibly need! The open plan made it so nice to be able to talk with everyone whilst cooking and the lovely large dining table was ideal for the Christmas spread. The house was so comfortable and it was great to have two downstairs bathrooms and another upstairs. The lovely corner suite in the living room made it really homely and comfortable for us all to sit and chat. The icing on the cake was the wonderful Christmas tree and decorations that the owners so kindly put up together with the mince pies, yule log and Prosecco. Such a wonderful cottage and stay. Lovely property in a lovely location, had everything we needed and more.

We had a fantastic week in St Agnes.

The house was just lovely, comfortable and beautifully clean. Very generously supplied with household essentials for a relaxed holiday. The area is incredible, stunning beaches and beautiful walks on the coast path. Sunsets and Tin Mines. What a gem!

Another lovely stay at Lanesend.

It's so well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together as an extended family. To note, there was quite a lot of noise from some building works across the road so it wasn't particularly quiet during the week. But that couldn't be helped. We will return.

The property was very clean and was well supplied with everything we needed.

The beds were very comfortable. The bedding and towels provided were very good. The property is in a nice quiet location and is ideally situated for visiting other locations. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

We had a very nice week at Lanesend.

The house was spotless and very comfortable. Had quite a few log fires as the weather had turned chilly but the electric heating was very efficient too. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. One suggestion, a small hand rail in the bath on the wall may be reassuring for old and young alike when showering. I have one in my shower in chrome and it doesn't look out of place or obvious. I mention this as we are older guests and not as steady on our feet. I will say though, that shower and bath mats are provided.

It is conveniently situated for St Agnes and other beaches in the vicinity and for walks along the scenic coast- the history of the tin mines was very interesting. The property itself was well presented, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Many household cleaning items were included which was very useful and a welcome gift of scones with jam and cream was a nice touch. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at this property.

Clean, spacious, well equipped and in a good position.

Lanesend was better than we had expected, it was bright, the cleanliness was exceptional & the facilities were excellent.

The beds were very comfortable, with lovely bed linen & soft towels. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates, mugs and cutlery and utensils. Our welcome pack of milk, scones, jam, clotted cream and cookies was very much appreciated. The owner phoned a couple of days before our holiday began and was very friendly, giving us ideas on where to eat and visit. We would recommend the property 100%

A lovely clean, comfortable property with good facilities.

Good location for walks and local beaches and we would definitely stay in this property again if staying in this area. There were even body boards, buckets and spades and a windbreak available for use by guests. The only slight downsides were that the wifi was unreliable and intermittent and we were a little disappointed that the lovely table, chairs and parasol shown on the website were no longer there (although they have been replaced by another more modern table and chairs) Overall we had a lovely weeks holiday at this well appointed property.

The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way.

Comfortable, clean, welcoming and near local shops and pub. A very relaxing break - many thanks! The only complaint I would make is that the kitchen table is sticky. We tried wiping it over with a damp cloth, but it remained sticky. We can only assume that something has interfered with the varnish.

We enjoyed our stay.

The house is beautiful and we made use of spending time outside in the beautiful garden. Everything is fully equipped with everything you need. Our little one enjoyed not only the time spend in the garden but also the toys. We loved very much that the beach was closeby and the drive to nearby beaches was short. We’d love to come back again to your property and maybe even reserve it for longer.

Great for multi-generational holidays. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere with a better equipped kitchen! The property is kept very clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful time in Cornwall.

A beautiful holiday home which was very well equipped.

Excellent location and was beautifully decorated with lovely artwork. Was also ideal for families and was like home from home for our 2 year old with all the toddler accessories. Would highly recommend and sure we will be back again. Thank your for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We had a very enjoyable stay this Christmas, the house was well equipped for cooking Christmas lunch and there were even two Christmas trees.

We had some beautiful windy walks and were cosy with the log fire. Would recommend.

The cottage was in a really good quiet location within walking distance of St Agnes which is a charming Cornish village and close to several lovely beaches.

The property was immaculately clean with lots of excellent facilities all as advertised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Ideal for walkers too. Nice kitchen and lounge although too much furniture for size of the room (eg kitchen table is too big and cumbersome for 5 people) Downstairs en suite is too confining. No kitchen scissors provided.

Owner was very accommodating in meeting our needs, for example, children's cott, chair ect.

It was nice to see the owner wanted to ensure our holiday was as good as possible. We felt if there was anything else we needed the owner was approachable.

Great accommodation, suited us all with age range for 78 years to 3 years, Plenty of space inside and outside (garden extremely well kept) and all amenities covered.

The welcome pack of cream scones together with tea, coffee sugar and milk for that much needed pick me up at then end of an 8 hour drive was truly appreciated. The village itself is a beautiful place with plenty of good eating places as well as a wonderful beach. Very central too for visiting other part of Cornwall. Will definitely book again when visiting this area.

This was a superb base for our holiday.

The cottage was comfortable, well equipped, light and airy. It was the perfect location, St Agnes is a great town with lots of really good eating places and you're spoilt for beaches. I would heartily recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in North Cornwall

We take everything but the kitchen sink, so that in bad weather we can cook, bake etc., but at Lanesend we did not unpack our things as it was all there - mixer, food processor etc!! Extremely comfortable, quality beds/bedding making for very good sleep.

Lanesend is a true home from home, clean, very comfortable and well equipped.

It is in a fantastic location particularly if you are National Trust members as so many places are well within an hours drive eg St. Michaels Mount and numerous coastal paths to explore. St Agnes is a lovely village with full range of shops and only a 5-10min walk away and the coast/cove within 20-30 min walk. We were four adults but Lanesend is suitable for all eg families and we would have no hesitation in recommending and hope to return one day.

Perfect location The accommodation could not have been better.

It exactly fitted our family with two ground floor rooms. The decor was lovely and calming, good quality and thoughtful. We loved the pictures and the general ambiance. The children were able to play outside as well as inside with the toys provided. As I said- perfect. It might have to be two weeks next time.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

No problems accessing the property and everything was ready for us and perfect. Lovely touch of having cream tea waiting for us. Would definitely book this property again.

We have just returned from a lovely week break in Lanes End house, Cornwall, St Agnes.

The property we rented was brilliant. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It was a lovely place to stay, lovely views over the fields and some sea views from bedroom windows too. The couple who met us at the house were very nice people, informative and helpful Thank you.., They had done a wonderful job on the house when we arrived.The beach was down the road down a pleasant country road. Everything was perfect and we even had fantastic weather. The road the house is on is very old worldy, exactly how we imagined St Agnes to be. We enjoyed all the beaches there but our favourite was Chapel Porth, very laid back and just a lovely place to be. Surf boarding with my lads i could of been anywhere. Bliss. I didn't want to come home, if i could afford it i would buy this place and stay for good! We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to any one who is looking for a relaxing break in Cornwall. Thanks a lot ....Mark Wenham

It was like a home from home it would have been better if the beaches were closer but overall a lovely part of the country which I hope to revisit.

The outside let's it down as it needed sweeping round the back and the utility room was grubby and had bird mess on the tumble dryer.

The main bathroom had damp areas to right hand corner when entering the bathroom. The windows needed cleaning. Maybe a deep clean should bring it back to how it should be in the pictures.

A fantastic holiday home equiped with everything and more you could ask for.

The owner went out of her way to make sure our twins had what they needed and arranged for an additional travel cot and high chair which was greatly appreciated. The location was perfect set in a quiet road of the quaint village of st Agnes and easily accessible to Perranporth, Newquay, Padstow and St Ives to name but a few. We have been coming to Cornwall for the last 4 years as a family and Lanesend by far exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return here again next year :) Thank you!
