Lanesend is the perfect family holiday retreat offering flexible accommodation for six guests in four bedrooms.

The north coast of Cornwall is home to some of the finest surfing spots in the country and the local surf school at Trevaunance Cove also provides surfboard and wetsuit hire whilst both of the village beaches benefit from lifeguard patrol from May to September. A traditional and unspoilt village, St Agnes has unrivalled local facilities including many art galleries plus grocers, greengrocers, butchers and bakers making the daily shop a true pleasure.

Several cafes, restaurants and pubs complete the picture and The Driftwood Spars at Trevaunance Cove which is home to an award winning micro-brewery was voted one of the Times top 50 pubs in the country in 2011.

Venturing onto The South West Coast Path around St Agnes head may be rewarded with the sight of grey seals in the waters below whilst the climb up to St Agnes Beacon guarantees a panoramic view of 23 miles of dramatic Cornish coastline.

Refurbished to a high standard throughout, Lanesend is ideal for groups with bedrooms on the ground and first floor to cater for all ages.

The cosy sitting room with wood burning stove opens into the beautiful kitchen diner at the rear with its vaulted ceiling and tremendous feeling of light and space.

French windows open to the enclosed rear garden which is a real suntrap providing the perfect place for children to play whilst adults relax on the terrace.

St Agnes is a thriving picturesque village on the Cornish coast, with four beaches on the doorstep and surrounded by wonderful countryside. Coasteering, kayaking and horse riding are all available locally, and St Agnes has a regular programme of events and gigs for all the family to enjoy. The local shops offer an interesting selection of produce, from tasty treats to one-off pieces of art as a unique souvenir of your Cornish holiday, and there is a superb range of dining choices with two Great Cornish Food Awards in 2015. St Agnes also has a rich mining heritage which can be explored with a visit to the St Agnes Museum. Head out of St Agnes and you will find plenty of Cornwall’s attractions within easy reach, from the beaches at Newquay to the Tate at St Ives or the cathedral at Truro and of course, the world-famous Eden Project. St Agnes is also in the heart of Poldark Country, the landscapes made famous by the novels and TV series’, the most recent of which was broadcast in Spring 2018.
