“This was our 2nd stay at Cedar Lodge and we absolutely love it.”
A peaceful, beautiful cosy cottage, and the large hot tub is a massive bonus.
The kitchen has everything you need.
Down to the little touches, like the little bathroom wash packs, and the kitchen pack with washing up liquid, scourer and dishwasher tablets.
Along with all that was a lovely local food and drink hamper to enjoy.
The only thing that was a bit disappointing, the place was a bit dusty, the main bedroom more than anything. I had to wipe the headboard down before we got into it. As we're the bedside units and some of the windowsills and skylights needed a bit of attention around the cottage.
Other than the cottage was clean, the large fluffy towels were so nice, and plenty of them if you needed.
The site itself is beautiful. The reception staff always polite and helpful.
We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and had drinks in the bar. But hardly any staff around downstairs, sometimes we was kept waiting 10/15 mins to get a drink.
The food in the restaurant was superb, and reasonably priced, would definitely go again.
The spa area is just so relaxing and the pool is lovely and warm.
We will definitely be returning again in the winter months.
