Trevedran Cottage

A lovely stay at Trevedran Cottage.

The property is bright and comfortable with everything you might need. I tried to report the broken kettle that had been left by the previous occupants but no response from property owner on the number provided. It wasnt us! I would recommend the walk through the woods down to the sea (100m from the property) and Lands End on a Tuesday and Thursday night at 10pm to watch the drone display and fireworks.

Trevedran Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay.

We loved the peace and quiet and being far from the madding croud yet within short distances of beaches and other attractions. For me as someone who likes to cook I could have done with a few more utensils etc in the kitchen but for normal people it was adequate and the kitchen fabulous. From an accessibility angle the steep steps down into the property were a challenge, nothing a hand rail wouldn't sort out, and the steps to the kitchen also proved tricky, but again a small hand rail would help. I would recommend this lovely cottage for everything else.

The cottage is spacious with modern facilities and good internet connection.

Beds are really comfortable and our dogs enjoyed pottering in the garden. Access to the coastal path via St Loys woods is less than a minutes walk away and we were excited to see seals and dolphins there on our first day. There is one parking space beside the property-no idea where the second it though! The only issue we had was general cleanliness-on one hand the cottage was fairly immaculate considering it was dog friendly-no fur or odour at all. However, basic areas had either not been cleaned or not cleaned well. The main bath had sand in and splodges of shampoo from the previous guests, toilet bowls were clean at the bottom but not nearer the top (one toilet seat was also broken), the kitchen worktop had been wiped around but nothing had been moved (for example the bread bin and worktop around it had lots of crumbs). Additionally, our feet were constantly dirty from the floors downstairs, which I don’t believe have been mopped for a long time-I actually wiped a small area in the living room and it was literally black. It’s difficult because there are lots of positives about staying here-hopefully hearing this feedback will help for the future. It’s also worth noting we did try to contact the owner via the number in the manual but it just rings out with no voicemail.

Brilliant location for totally relaxing holiday.

A little off the beaten track but a short drive away from civilization. Large private garden perfect for the dog and lazing in the garden in the Summer evenings. Well equipped and to a high spec. Comfy beds too. Our 2nd time visiting.

Third time returning to Trevedran Cottage, so that says something, and we weren't disappointed either.

Well equipped, comfy, and clean as ever. The welcome pack was super too, very generous, thank you Tamsin. Great base for exploring this end of Cornwall, and we had a hot week, and found the cottage was cool to return home to, thick walls. Beds comfy, and great shower and internet speed better than at home ! Already booking for next year, so get in quick ! Definitely recommend.

Cottage was very clean and comfortable.

Everything you need for your holiday. Great location. Parking for 2 cars is questionable, one car needed to be parked in the turning off the main road but didn't cause us an issue. The main bathroom needs the shower investigating as we needed to place a towel on the floor to stop the water running over.

Location very peaceful and good.

. cleanliness not brilliant.. lots of cobwebs and dog hairs.. looks like it hadn’t had a deep clean for a while.. although bedding and towels were clean.. nice touch with the tea and scones and crisps and salt .. lovely enclosed garden .. we had amazing weather!

We had a wonderful week in Trevedran Cottage.

Comfortable, relaxed and peaceful in a great setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and had great fun using the AGA, the warm beating heart of the house. A lovely welcome pack on arrival, that was very welcome indeed. The position of the house enabled us to do some lovely local walks.

This property was perfect for us.

Set in a quiet location but near to stunning beaches, villages and towns. The property was extremely clean, beautifully presented and we wanted for nothing. Thank you so much, we hope to return!

We booked Trevedran Cottage at very short notice and were impressed with owner Tamsin who got everything ready for us, including a lovely welcome pack of goodies and some woodburner logs to start us off.

This family-owned cottage has been well cared for and offered every facility that we needed to ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay, which we (mother, daughter and pooch) really needed. The woodland walk adjoining the cottage was very handy and was a beautiful stroll along a stream through a picturesque valley. We hope to return again soon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Trevedran! Thank you.

This is an excellent property and we had a very pleasant holiday.

Unfortunately we had to cut short our stay due to a health issue which was very sad but |I hope we will be able to revisit another year. The owner, Tasmin and her husband were extremely pleasanjt and helpful. A name board visible from the road would be helpful as the mobile data service fails just before the property!

We had a wonderful stay.

The cottage was very comfortable and very well-equipped. We loved the conservatory and the garden was lovely little sun-trap! Next to a beautiful woodland walk leading down to the coast, as well as a short drive to many of the nearby beaches.

Trevedran cottage is a large, well equipped cottage in a quiet and restful area, not too far from shops, pubs etc.

with parking outside for our large car. Beds super comfy, water pressure in showers is superb, towels fluffy, some new for us, WiFi super fast and the welcome basket was well received, including a vase of flowers. It is very well equipped, only thing missing for us was a pizza cutter, but we valiantly managed without

Lovely secluded cottage.

Well equipped great layout and completed to a high spec. Large enclosed garden great for our dog. Lots of costal places to visit and Penzance only a stones throw away. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was very well situated between all the main attractions but in a quiet location.

It is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay including the welcome basket which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

The cottage was amazing, loads of space.

Lots of seating. It had all the home comforts you could ask for. The owners were very friendly and at the end of the phone if you needed help. The cottage is in a quiet location and with no street lights we slept amazingly well. Unfortunately it isn’t walkable to the village which has a local shop and a friendly pub. Sennon Cove is the most beautiful beach we visited it was a 10 minute drive from the cottage.

What a wonderfully comfortable home from home which we feel is even better than the pictures show!

The large kitchen is very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need is in the property, pizza cutter, salt and pepper, second fridge freezer, clothes airer as well as tumble dryer, hair dryer etc. The beds and sofas are very comfortable, and there's a nice big tv which was useful as our weather wasn't too good unfortunately. WiFi speed excellent and shower water pressure good. (I've put this as I often want to know these things, wifi mainly for our son, and its not always mentioned.) We took our dog, so the stair gate is useful and we really enjoyed the walk just 150 yds from the property along St Loy woods, to the coastal path every morning. A wonderful place to stay, one of the best, and we will definitely return. Thank you Tamsin and Dave.

A beautiful cottage.

Very well equipped. The cottage has such a nice vibe. It doesn't feel like a holiday cottage but like home. The erea is also perfect. The public walking path close by (30 meters) through the woods to the cove is like walking in a fairytale.

What an amazing cottage ,it was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do including walking the coastal path .

We fell in love with the cottage ,all facilities were made our stay comfortable and a lot more . Only thing missing is a bbq especially as the farm shop 10 minutes away had an amazing meat counter .Otherwise we couldn’t fault anything and can’t wait to come back.

We loved the cottage and its location.

We were happy with overall cleanliness apart from the windows in the conservatory which were very dirty. The kitchen was well equipped with one or two omissions. Shortage of mugs (for 6 people) lack of a teapot, (which was provided when we contacted the owners) and clean dishcloth. Cleaning equipment I.e. vacuum and dustpan etc. would usually be provided. The toilet seat in the on suite fell off when first used. We spoke to owners about this and it was repaired asap. There was no problems with beds or linen and towels provided. We do intend to come here again as the cottage is lovely and very spacious and would recommend it to anyone, especially dog owners.

Great stay in this beautiful cottage-very spacious and spotlessly clean ,well equipped and the welcome basket was excellent-great location for exploring Sennen ,Porthcurno,miousehole and landsend all of which are short drive .

. The beds were super comfortable with lovely bed linen we all slept so well. The host was very knowledgeable on the local area and nothing was too much trouble we would love to return and would highly recommend Trevedran Cottage.

The cottage was very dirty the place was covered in cobwebs and dust the windows have not been cleaned in months.

There was no hoover,mop,clothes horse or ironing board ect. One of the toilets seats was broken. The rugs was filled with dirt and dog hair. No sponge to wash the dishes only a dirty rag. The back of the main bedroom curtains covered in yellow stains. Only the bottom bunk made up as the owner could not be bothered to make the top up. And the owner turned up twice making us all feel uneasy. We all feel very ripped off that a week in thus cottage coat over a thousand pound. Customer service are about as useful as a chocolate tea cup so we are going to take this further as we want some money back.

Another lovely break at Trevedran Cottage.

Even at the end of a long summer season this property is well maintained, resourced and perfect for our needs. The garden is ideal for the dog and the cottage beautifully warm with the aga and wood burner. We appreciate the provision of logs and a delightful goodie box packed with local produce. We stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, very clean and in such a lovely part of Cornwall. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere so it was very peaceful but we were within 20 minutes of various wonderful places. Our 3 children loved it as did the dog. Thank you to the owners.

Very high standard of accommodation in a beautiful spot.

The coast path can be joined via a short though challenging walk through woods very close by. Enclosed garden is big enough for a small to medium dog to charge around… important as so many local beaches have a dog ban in high season. Super kitchen which was well equipped. The cottage was quite hard to find initially and we drove past it a couple of times. Parking for one car is fine but if like us you were two couples travelling separately, extra parking was not clear and could be an issue as other people seemed to park around the cottage. Close to the Minack, Lamorna and Porthcurno. Newlyn and Penzance were only a ten to 15 minute drive. Would definitely return to explore more of the area.

The property was well presented.

There were flowers on the dining table as we walked in. The bedding and towels smelt fresh and clean. The welcome basket was so thoughtful. Our dog loved the garden. We could walk from the property. Very quiet and peaceful. We could go on and on..... Very pleased with this property and would definitely book again

We had a great holiday in a beautiful cottage.

It was home from home. Our two dogs also were very relaxed and happy. The conservatory is a great place to sit and watch the wildlife, including the bats at night.

The cottage was beautiful!

Everything looked even better than the photos. It is so well equipped and comfortable. The walks around the cottage were lovely. We enjoyed visiting the local beaches. Tamsin was so easy to deal with and helpful. We would definitely like to return.

We loved our stay at Trevedran Cottage.

We wanted to walk the SW Coast Path from Hayle to Marazion so it was a perfect base. The cottage was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The location was good with Newlyn/Penzance easily accessible. We went to a concert at Lamorna Village…check out www.carntocove.co.uk for events…and mainly ate in at night so can attest to the kitchen being well equipped. The hosts, Tasmin and Dave were really helpful and informative: their approach helped us get the most from the cottage and local area. We felt at home, which makes being away so easy, and would highly recommend others consider stay at Trevedran Cottage.

We are grateful for the extra trouble and professional maintenance to revive a flagging aga. The property is extremely well-heated with very good cooking facilities so we weren’t inconvenienced by the aga having an ‘off-day’. We really appreciate the dog-inclusivity here too.

! One of the nicest holiday cottages we've ever stayed in. Absolutely every detail has been thought of and the hosts could not make you more welcome/do more for you. Beautifully located too... Although the house is so gorgeous you may not want to venture far! A true gem.

We had the most fantastic few days at Trevedran Cottage.

It was a beautiful property that was so cozy and warm it had absolutely everything you could want and more. The kitchen and utility is well equip with a stunning kitchen a real pleasure to cook in. A gorgeous lounge with a wood burning stove. The bedrooms were beautiful, the beds were extremely comfortable we all slept so well. There are so may beautiful walks right on your doorstep a perfect spot for dog and family walks. I honestly can not speak highly enough about this cottage its an absolute gem and we can not wait to return.

Beautiful Cottage, well put together and thought out, lots of provisions/facilities to make it a home from home stay.

There was a leek in the shower that was looked at the following day but unfortunately could not be fixed easily. It was not a problem to us, it was just one of those things, handled well by the owner. Excellent for families with 2 and 4 legged dependants. Thank you for a lovely week.

Extremely well furnished, loaded with any home comforts you might need. Lovely peaceful location, only a short drive to the nearby coves and picturesque Porthcurno beach. We really enjoyed our stay, and would love to return.

I stayed at Trevedran Cottage on the 1st of July for 7 nights, Owners are lovely and none invasive.

Cottage is perfection, well equipped, comfy and clean! The garden is enclosed but unfortunately we found the small wall unsafe for our dogs. Location is perfect!! Close to shops and the beach but also a bit rural. We had a very lovely stay here! Thank you to the hosts.

Wow, great cottage , very well equipped, all mod cons but full of character.

Host was very helpful and we very much appreciated the welcome pack. Dogs loved the garden, which is walled but larger dogs could jump over the wall if they were keen to explore. Location is great, near to beaches and wonderful dog walks around both rural and coastal. Wonderful aga in kitchen, plus an electric hob and oven too.
