Beagle Cottage

We had such a fab time staying at Beagle Cottage - we didn't want to come home!

This is the first holiday home we've stayed at that has made us want to rebook again - we're currently figuring out dates we can holiday again

An absolute gem of a cottage.

Everything you could want. Real dog friendly owners who not only left treats for us but also the dogs. Great dog walks either from the cottage or at Goss Moor that was less than 1.5miles away. The cottage was also so central for getting to anywhere in Cornwall. There is slight road noise, but this fades into the background. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time I visit Cornwall.

Super dog friendly, lovely cottage, well equipped and comfortable.

The hosts were there if you needed advice or help, genuinely lovely people. Waterfall shower was the best shower I’ve ever had. All in all a super relaxing break.

Welcome pack was much appreciated including treats for our dogs. Everything you need for a relaxing break and good location for travelling around Cornwall. Would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future.

The hosts Mike and Bernie live next door and were always on hand if you needed anything without being overbearing, the location of the property is perfect for trip out to the surrounding areas, many beautiful beaches being only 15 minutes away plus only an hour to lands end, the property itself was incredibly clean and very very comfortable, we slept like logs every night, the house had every modern appliance you could need and all with any instructions you may need , to top it all you receive a Beautiful gift basket with scones,cream,jam, Cornish fudge and treats for your dogs.

All in all I would highly recommend this property and its hosts for anybody wishing to stay in Cornwall for a holiday, I will certainly be booking it again in the future, Craig

This was the perfect holiday cottage; probably the best that we have ever stayed in.

The cottage was well equipped. The owner made us feel at home in the cottage. It was perfectly placed for easy access to everywhere we wanted to go and due to the location was probably perfect for access to most parts of Cornwall. The owner left us welcoming gifts which included dog treats. It is the perfect holiday cottage for dog owners. We will book this again when we next come to Cornwall.

Clean, tidy, cosy and welcoming! Treats were even left for us which is always lovely! Really good location and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Fish and chip shop was close and was probably the best chips I've ever had! We would love to come back next year..there is not one thing we could fault with this cottage..the best cottage we've ever stayed in ! Xx

We absolutely loved our stay at Beagle Cottage.

It was the perfect little escape for me, my mum, and our 3 dogs. The cottage was spotless, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location was ideal for exploring Cornwall, and it was so dog-friendly – a real bonus! We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already rebooked for next year. Highly recommend!

We had a great week at Beagle Cottage, Bernice,Mike, Gus and Cooper were incredibly welcoming.

The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring, and on Goss Moor there are two herds of wild ponies - i would highly recommend. The cottage was decorated to a high standard, and felt like a home away from home. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated Thank you for a lovely week :) Now I’m home I have Cornwall blues

What a treasure of a find.

Bernie and Mike have put so much effort to make this place feel like home. All the little touches and attention to detail made this place truly the best we have ever visited. A cream tea waiting for us on arrival. Little gifts to make you feel special. Slippers, sweets(a big chuppa chup tree) chocolate a lovely little bag. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness. The decor was lush. A warm friendly welcome on arrival. Geography wise you are perfectly placed for a 40 min drive to most places.

The cottage was literally home from home and had everything that you need. It was clean, spacious and very well maintained. The owners were near if we needed them (we didn’t) and the cottage was in a great location, based centrally to everywhere you would want to visit in Cornwall. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Lovely clean warm dog friendly cottage with everything you need to feel at home in a central location to get to every where easily very friendly owners .

Our 2 week stay at beagle cottage was fantastic, hosts Bernice and Mike were so friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean and relaxing. We took our 3 small dogs they settled in very well. A lovely surprise when we arrived of scones, jam cream etc and even some doggie treats! Highly recommend beagle cottage it's in a perfect central position to visit lots of places around newquay and Cornwall.

We had a fantastic stay at Beagle Cottage.

Conveniently located for all our requirements. Including dog walking and sightseeing. Easy access into Newquay and Bodmin. Accommodation was amazing. Everything had been well thought out, a real home from home. All the facilities you could think of. Kind and friendly owners, very welcoming. Thank you for such a lovely stay. April 2024.

Fantastic hosts & beautiful property With everything you need for fantastic holiday We had a 9 month old pup & a 9 week old pup with us.
