Villa 29, a holiday lodge with two bedrooms, is perched on the outskirts of the charming Cornish town of Camelford.
This home, which is excellent for families with young children and has easy access to local amenities, is ideally situated for visiting Cornwall and its breathtaking landscapes.
Be sure to make full-use of the open-plan living area, which comes with a fully-equipped kitchen where the designated chef can work their culinary magic, and a dining/sitting area where the entire family can congregate to enjoy their meals while watching a film on the wall-mounted TV.
Make time for a long, relaxing bath as night falls before retiring to one of the two tastefully-furnished bedrooms that lie waiting to comfort you after a day full of fun.
Take a short drive into Camelford, a local town with a supermarket, cash point, butchers and fish and chip shop or visit Enfield Park, a park with green space and playgrounds ideal for keeping the little ones entertained.
A wider choice of shops and restaurants are available at Wadebridge.
You can reach Tintagel, a coastal town in the northwest, by taking a brief car ride.
This seaside town is home to a number of must-see attractions, including Tintagel Castle, Barras Nose, the National Trust landmark of Glebe Cliff, as well as the enigmatic location of Merlin's Cave, which is thought to have once been the fabled wizard's home.
A little further west along the coast is Padstow, where you can spend an entertaining afternoon at the National Lobster Hatchery or elect for a more tranquil day by taking a leisurely stroll along Hawker's Cove.
The Blue Reef Aquarium and the Newquay Zoo provide a whole day of fun for the whole family, so Newquay is definitely worth a visit if you want to make a day of it.
Alternatively head over to Bodmin Moor ideal for walkers.
The property is also adjacent to a golf course, Bowood Park.
Port Isaac is a short drive away , the fictional port of Port Wenn, where Doc Martin was filmed.

This was our first time visiting Cornwall, and we were looking forward to a relaxing couple of days with the family.
Unfortunately, the accommodation left much to be desired. Finding the cottage was challenging as the directions provided were unclear. We ended up having to stop and ask locals for guidance before finally locating it. The cottage itself was pleasant in some ways — we loved the beach-themed décor, and there was a generous selection of books, games, DVDs, and CDs for us to enjoy. The beds were a decent size, with enough duvet covers for extra warmth. However, the bathroom curtain rail was poorly secured to the wall, so it kept falling whenever someone took a bath or shower, creating a large mess with water on the floor. We had access to a pool in another building, but our key didn’t work, and we had to rely on other guests to let us in. The water was also very cold, so we didn’t spend much time swimming. The laundry facilities were also disappointing — of the three washing machines available, two were out of order, meaning we had to take turns with other guests to do laundry. In summary, we enjoyed our holiday thanks to the quality family time, beautiful sightseeing, and relaxing moments listening to Bach and Mozart on the CD player while reading from the cottage’s collection. However, the property could be greatly improved with clearer directions, better maintenance, and more reliable facilities.
We were happy with the cabin and its location close to many local sites.
It was clean, had a good little kitchen and lots of information about local thins to see and do. Only issues we had were with low water pressure in the shower, and the dryer at the camp was out of order.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cosy villa.
It is in a great location for visiting the nearby beaches and other local attractions.
