“The property is in the most beautiful place with fantastic views, it just a shame that when we arrived it was filthy and we had to go out and buy cleaning products to start cleaning before we could enjoy the holiday .”

The patio was swimming in foul smelling drain water, the floors in the downstairs rooms were dirty , brown mop water after I’d cleaned shows no cleaning had been done . I have a dog so understand what it’s like but all the windows had old dry dog saliva which I had to clean . There was a poo stain in the downstairs rooms toilet on the wall . Once the place had been cleaned by myself and family the holiday went well . Upstairs much better . Poor response from Sykes , no response from owners ...

Oh and the rug in the lounge again not clean . Suggest you change the cleaning company buy a carpet cleaner or a new rug !

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
