    “From the moment we walked into Cornflower Cottage we knew we had made a good choice.”

    It was bright, light and airy with a lovely view across the surrounding countryside. Being October we were also grateful for the central heating which made the cottage warm and comfortable, especially as there was extensive carpeting, not something you find in a lot of country cottages. The kitchen was well equipped despite being a little dated. The electric hob took a little bit of getting used to but despite this we would rate Cornflower cottage as amongst if not the best we have stayed in, ...

ST COLUMB MAJOR

Newquay 7 miles; Padstow 9 miles.

An old and picturesque market town nestled among lush green countryside, just five miles from the North Cornish Coast. The resort attractions of Newquay includes bars, clubs, a zoo, vibrant shops, the National Surfing Centre and fabulous beaches are all just 7 miles away, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing port of Padstow.
